Alec
Izzy grabs Clary's bag as we run outside to catch up with Jace.
He's holding one of Clary's drawings trying to track her, but failing-
"Damnit. It's just not showing up" he says turning to me, "we need to parabatai track"
He says enveloping my hand in his as we try to track their location
"Alec concentrate" Jace growls at me
"ALEC" he says after we try once more
"I'm doing it. It's just not showing up"
"Just like I thought, they weren't arrested"Izzy says coming over
"It was your job to look after her" Jace says pushing me back
" I did my best Jace"
"Well then maybe your mother was right and your best just isn't enough-"
"Jace!" Izzy shouts
"Are you so blind about your feeling for clary that you've lost sight of us? If you hadn't noticed, they took someone I love too. Clary snuck out. Lily and I went after her, to protect her, I did nothing you haven't done a thousand times before. And look where that got lily-"
"Yes you did Alec, you lost her-"
"Enough, both of you!"Izzy shouts
"Okay whoever took them must be holding them over a body of water, that's why we can't track them" Jace says right before a phone rings in clary's bag
"Hello?" Jace asks
"I thought I'd never utter these words but thank god it's you, it's-it's me Simon"
"Where are you? Where's lily? Where's clary?" Jace asks
"I don't know. Some Chinese resteraunt I- I think. This uh cop Alaric arrested us but it was a total fake out he didn't even- they took us to a hangout and then they told Clary that they'll Kill me and Lily if she didn't give them the cup-"
"What? Is lily okay?" I ask
"I wouldn't say okay, but she's alive. She's bleeding out and quickly. She keeps going unconscious and she's been stabbed, beaten and slashed by- uh- claws?"
I gasp hear Simon talk about the girl I love like that, picturing her in that state made tears pool in my eyes as Izzy ran her hand over my arm trying to comfort me.
"Damnit. Just calm down. Simon look around? What do you see? Where are you?" Jace quickly questions him
"Okay uh. We're definitely on a pier there's a tonne of water Uh- I see lockers and scratch marks-"
"Werewolves"
"It's possible" Izzy says
"Okay Simon you need to get more specific tell us what you see"
"There's nothing else Ja- wait hold on we're at the Jade Wolf Chinese restaurant on the pier at Greene Street" Simon says as Jace hands the phone to me, googling the location
"You guys need to hurry, lily doesn't look like she can go on for much longer-"
"You need to create a distraction, stall them"I say
"How? All I have are clothes and a lighter"
"Start a fire Simon"
"That never works! Have you ever seen an action movie"
"We're on our way" Jace says before telling me to end the call
"Alec she's gonna be okay" Izzy says
"Yeah? And what if she dies today huh? Then it's gonna be all my fault. The girl I love who by the way I just got is now dying in a fucking restaurant with the mundane-"
"Alec come on. Well get her in time" Jace shouts
Lily
Feeling my head throbbing against my skill I wake up, groaning at the immense pain I was in. Only to find myself laying on Simon, in a car, with Clary and wait- I have never seen those two men in my life.
Did I really just get kidnapped?

"Where are we?" Clary asks, noticing my confusion, "this isn't the police station"
"Just cooperate and everything will be fine" I one of the men say as they pull us out of the car.
"We didn't do anything wrong" Simon says as we're pulled inside, a restaurant?
"Quiet or your gonna make this worse for yourself" the other man says
"Hey your not a cop" clary says as his phone rings, "Alaric who is this guy?"
"Luke's calling"
"Ignore him. That's an order" the man pulling me and Simon says
"Are you guys with Luke? Did he send you?"
"None of your business"
"Why do I keep getting kidnapped?" Simon groans as the men push us each onto a seat
"Not to take your spotlight away mundane but I think it's clary they want" I say
"Okay what is going on? Alaric did you arrest me for trespassing? Because news flash. I was on my own apartment"
"Clary they didn't arrest us" I say pointing out the obvious
"We're just having a little conversation, that's all" the man who knocked me out says
"Do you normally knock out everyone your having a conversation with?" I snap as my head starts throbbing again
"Yeah exactly. Do you always handcuff people you wanna talk to? I bet this guy has one of the scariest online profiles ever" Simon says turning to me
"These two are funny, I like funny" he says smirking at me and Simon
"Look, I know your scared of Luke he's trying to find you. I can keep you safe-"
"What in your dirty little restaurant?" I laugh at his promise
"You just need to tell us where the mortal cup is" he finishes, glaring at me
"Everyone thinks I can find this cup but I don't know where it is!"
"Think clary, I'm trying to help you" he grumbles
"I can't help you I'm sorry now will you please let us go" Clary snaps as the other man stabs a fork a millimetre away from my finger
Damn that was close.
"Play times over"
"Can you at least just let me talk some sense into them-"
"No. We did it your way now we're gonna try it my way" he says while waving someone over-
As 2 men grab Simon and i, great here we go again.
"Hey don't touch them!"
"Don't move. Tell us where the cup is or your funny friends die"
"Please. Please don't hurt them okay? I promise you- I swear to you I- I don't know where this cup is!"
"That's a shame, get rid of them" the man says before waving us away as I'm pulled into a room away from everyone with 2 men already waiting with smiles on their faces.
"At least we get the pretty one" they laugh to each other
"Yeah right. I suppose your not use to seeing pretty things in this crack den-" I say before I'm cut off as I gain myself a kick to the stomach. Deciding to not give them the satisfaction, I simply smile at them, "is that all you got? You kick like a little girl"
And for the next ten minutes the men continued to kick, punch, slap me, you name it. My nose was definitely broken, I felt myself bruising and bleeding everywhere, by I still kept a smile on my face.
"Damn you bitch! I'll show you something that'll really hurt" one of them smirks to me as he pulls out a knife.
Oh by the angel why me
"Fuck" I scream out as he thrust it into my stomach, bloody pooling out of the wound instantly. How the hell am I getting out of this alive.
"Me too" another one says before I hear bones cracking and as I look up, I'm met with the eyes of a wolf.
You have got to be kidding me.
It charges for me and as I'm too weak to move, he slashes at my thigh. The blood loss is getting wayy to hard to deal with right now. God this hurts.
"Guys put her in there with the boy" the man from earlier shouts as the men drag me to a locker room with claw marks covering the walls. They throw me to the ground right beside Simon, who's currently upside down.
As they leave Simon looks at me: "oh my god Lily what did they do to you" he gasps at my current state. He quickly snaps the chains and jumps down to my side, putting pressure on my wounds.
"Guess they couldn't take an insult" I laugh before crying out as pain soared through my fragile body
"Wait there I'll see if I can find a first aid kit" he says running over to the locker, "okay no first aid kit but I found a phone"
"Call Clary" I manage to get out
Dialling her number, someone answers on the other end:
"Hello?" I hear Jace ask
Alec
As we arrive at the restaurant, we look inside only to find nobody there. We turn and run to the storage units covering the pier quickly spotting clary over Luke's shoulder i shout to Jace, "got her"
As I kick at his legs, Jace grabs her and I knock the guy out.
"You okay?" Jace gasps
"I will be, as soon as we find lily and Simon" she says following me as I run to where Izzy went
Lily
I pretty much zoned out of that entire conversation until Simon came over to tell me they're coming, and that he's starting a fire.
Oh by the angel
As soon as he flames the clothes he pulls me into his arms and stands by the window, as the fire alarm begins to sound. It feels like we're waiting here forever, with Simon constantly trying to tell me I'm gonna be okay, until I hear something smack the poles covering the window. I seriously love my parabatai sometimes
"I'm getting seriously tired of saving your life" I hear Izzy tease Simon before noticing me in his arms, "oh my god Lily. ALEC!" She screams
I hear my favourite Lightwood gasp as I notice him looking at me, he quickly reaches down and pulls me up, holding me gently in his arms.
"Hey there Lightwood" I smile, trying to make him feel better but I guess I failed at that as I feel myself slip into unconsciousness
Alec
"No no no open your eyes lily. Open them. I'm not kidding baby please" I cry as she ignores my requests
"Alec come on" Izzy shouts as her, Simon, Jace, and Clary look at lily in my arms, worrying for her just as much as me
I run forwards, making sure not to shake her up anymore and just as we we're leaving the pier we were surrounded.
"Guys whatever you do, do not make any fast moves" Izzy says cautiously
"This can't be good" Jace groans while drawing his blade
"We're surrounded" I say
"Everyone get back thats the alpha leader" Jace screams as it runs towards us, only to be tackled by another
"It's helping us!"
"Or cutting in line to kill us"
The two wolves brawl behind a stack of barrels until eventually there's no more growling,
"The alphas dead" Izzy says walking towards them
Another wolf crawls out, only to transform into Luke, who is covered in blood.
"Oh my god Luke" clary gasps
All the wolves begin howling, showing their respect to their new alpha- then they turn back into men and kneel.
"What is happening?" Clary asks
"When a werewolf kills the alpha leader he becomes the new alpha, your friend Luke here is now the leader of the pack" Jace explains to her
"Clary" he says as she steps towards him, "I promised your mother I would always protect you-" he says before falling, Jace catching him
"Hey!" I start, "we need to get everyone back to the institute right now. Lily needs help. We need to stay out of down worlder business"
"Why don't you stay out of it. I'm gonna help clary"
"We have to report back to our mother, we have to get lily to the meds" I say shocked at his selfishness shining through
"Look you and Isabelle can do that, I'll be fine on my own" he says before walking away with Simon, Clary and Luke.
"You can be mad at Jace later, come on we need to get her home" Izzy says pulling me to the car.

As we arrive back, izzy and i rush to the infirmary and tell the meds what has happened as they immediately get to work, pushing us out of the room much to my demise.
"Damnit" I scream colliding my fist with the wall
"Alec hey" Izzy shouts pulling me into a hug, I can't even help it anymore I just broke down in her arms, crying as my angel is dying in the room next door and I can't do anything about it
"Alec it's okay, she's gonna be okay" she says
"But what If she isn't Isabelle! I only just got her to be my girlfriend I can't lose her already. I won't" I snap
"Calm down Alec, come on talk to me. Tell me what's been happening between you two recently, like this morning-"
"Really now" I say at her choice of timing
"It'll get your mind of it, plus I know you want to talk about her" she says, "was that your guys first time together?"
"Yeah, and individually"
"How was it?"
"Isabelle do you really want to know about my sex life?" I say not quite believing her nosiness
"Hey she's my best friend! So with as little detail as possible how was it?"
"Amazing, it made me feel closer to her in a way I can't describe. It's like my love for her was heightened and now I can't bare the thought of being away from her"
"Oh big brother, you really are in love. I hope I find someone who looks at me the way you look at lil" she say smiling
"Mr and Miss Lightwood" the nurse says stepping out of the room
"Yes" Izzy and I say in sync standing up quickly
"Lilyrose is going to be okay, but she needs to rest for a while. She's awake if you'd like to go in and see her" as soon as those words left her mouth Izzy and I raced into the room.
"Hey guys" she whispers, still tired
"Oh by the angel your okay" Izzy sighs pulling her parabatai in for a hug, pulling away after a while
"Guys what have I told you. I'm too cool to die" she smirks
"I'll leave you guys too it" Izzy says smiling, leaving us alone
I rush over to her and wrap my arms around her, pulling her as close to me as possible
"Hey there gorgeous" I hear her mumble into my chest
"You scared the living hell out of me"
"Hey if they had tried to take me down while I was still conscious they wouldn't have been"she starts before I cut her off slamming my lips onto hers.
I don't want to pull away until eventually she does and rested her forehead against mine, gasping for air.
"Round two already?" She teases
"I wish" I say smiling at her
"Can you take me to my room? This bed isn't comfortable and I want sleep?"
"Nope. But you can come to mine. If your sleeping, it's gonna be with me from now on- your not leaving my side" I say to her as I pull her into my arms and make my way over to my room.
"Sounds like a good plan to me Lightwood" she says before shutting her eyes and leaning into my embrace.
Sighing heavily I pull my shoes off and lay on my bed, resting her fragile body atop of mine, eventually joining her in her dreamland.
