Manik was sitting near his window and was engrossed in gazing stars. He was looking like a mess.
Sehi kehti thi Neyonika I am a bloody curse, jis ki zindagi me bhi jata hon usey tabah ker deta hoon. Aur aj meine apni star ki zindagi mein hamesha ke liye andhera ker dia. But I didn’t have any other option. Agar me usey khud se dur na kerta tu Fab5 kabhi usey sakoon se nhi jeene dete. And she doesn’t deserve this. Aur mein Fab5 ko bhi tu akela nahi chor sakta. I am a freaking mess, Kya karon mein. Kal college jaa ke Nandini se baat kerta hon, Haan ye sehi rhe ga!!
He was pulling his hair with frustration. He didn’t realise, for fake friends who aren’t less than snakes, he has destroyed his beautiful present and future. He has ruined his love life with his own hands. He pushed himself in the darkness. His eyes were glistening with tears. He was busy in his thoughts but his trance got broken with a loud voice.
Voice- Manik where are you yaar?
Manik- Cabir, Dhruv, Alya What are you guys doing here? Aur Mukti kahan hai?
Dhruv- Buddy hum tujhe kuch btana....
But Manik interrupted him
Manik- Meine bola tha na tum logon ko ke mujhe nahi kerni koi party warty. Please don’t force me. I need some alone time. Fab5 ko choose ker lia na meine. Now please give me some time.
He said in a broken voice.
Alya- Baby hamari baat tu suno, hum tumhein kuch dikhana chahte hain. But please pehle promise karo you won’t lose your temper.
She gave him a fake concerned look and handed him an envelope.
Manik opened the envelope with a deep frown and in next moment he was fuming with anger. His eyes were blood shot red. He was seeing red everywhere. He broke his dressing table and shouted with agony.
“Why?”
“How could you do this to me?”
Murthy’s House
On the other side, Nandini was walking lifelessly on the streets. Tears were continuously flowing from her doe shaped eyes. She was already quite shaken up by all the events.
Pyar hai ya Saza, Aye mere Dil bata,
Toot’ta kyun nahi, Dard ka silsila,
Is Pyar mein hon kaise kaise Imtihan,
Yeh Pyar likhe kaisi kaisi Dastaan
Lost in her thoughts she reached her home and rang the door bell, Shanno Chachi instantly opened the door. After looking at her condition her Chachi was petrified.
Shanno- Nandu Bacha kya hua? Tu aise ro kyun rahi hai? Kisi ne kuch kaha kya? Manik tujhe chorne aya tha kya? Ya phir akeli ai hai.
She hugged her and inquired. But all she got in return was stillness and numbness. Now Shanno started getting worried. Her chirpy Nandu was standing numb in her own thoughts. She jerked her slowly to gain her attention.
Nandini- Chachi chor hi tu dia Manik ne mujhe. Akela ker dia us ne mujhe. Phir se, her baar ki tarah he played with my emotions. He made fun of my feelings. Her words stumbled withering her heart in pain. She cried and hugged her Chachi.
Venkatesh- Nandu Bacha you’re scaring us. Theek se batao hamein kya hua hai.
Nandini narrated everything. Manik’s rejection, his choice, his betrayal, Fab3 and Navya’s accusations and her emotional breakdown.
They were shocked hearing her. They knew how much their Nandu loved him. Chachi hid her in her motherly embrace. She was trying to give her comfort even if it was for few moments.
Nandini- Chacha Chachi please mujhe yahan se jana hai. I can’t stay here. Please mujhe yahan nahi rehna warna mera dil dard se phat jaye ga. Ya mera dam ghutt jaye ga. Mein mar jaaon gi.
She said looking down as she didn’t want to look in their eyes. She didn’t want to show them her pain and vulnerability.
Chachi- Nandu agar Manik ne tujhe chora hai is ka ye matlab nahi ke tujh mein koi kami hai. Tere pyaar mein koi kami nahi thi mera bacha. It means God has planned something much better for you. Leave it on him. Aur rahi baat yahan se jaa ke tera dukh kam ho sake ga ya tu move on ker sake gi tu hum tere is decision mein tere sath hain.
Shanno sadly smiled wiping her cheeks which were wet from tears.
Chacha- Han bacha wese bhi Sir ki call ai thi. Wo log tujhe bhut miss ker rahe hain. Now it’s high time you should go back to your real place. Tujhe wapas chaley jana chahiye. Apni asal jagah, apne logon mein.
He said caressing her hair with affection. Nandini nodded her head with a new determination.
Nandini- Chacha ap Roy Uncle se keh ke saare arrangements kerwa len, mein kal hi college jaa ke Principal sir se apna transfer certificate le lon gi.
She said and turned to go back to her room.
Unknown Place
Person1 - So finally Teer Nishaney pe lag hi gaya.
she said casually settled on the sofa.
Person2- Ye sab tu ho gya and we are sure hum jesa soch rahe hain ab agey bhi wesa hi hone wala hai.
he said by sipping his wine.
Person3- Per us ladki ka kya kerna hai? We can’t leave her like this. We have to do something.
He asked with a frown.
Person4- Don’t worry wo sab tum log mujh pe chor do. I’ll handle her.
he assured and grabbed his cell phone dialling a number. They all nod at his words.

After a tragic and hectic day Mukti went towards her apartment. She was living alone since childhood because she’s orphan. Loneliness is her only companion.
She was in her own thoughts but suddenly someone dragged her in a deserted corner of the building. Before she could understand a harsh grip on her mouth had her heart lurching to her throat. She inhaled a large gulp of air and anaesthesia had her mind drifting into the darkness.

Next Morning
Nandini woke up rubbing her temples which were throbbing with immense pain.
Come down for breakfast Bachaa
Shanno Chachi entered her room. She sadly smiled seeing the broken angel sitting in front of her.
Tum theek ho na Nandu?
But her smile lost when she saw Nandu was rubbing her temples and it seemed she was in pain.
Jee Chachi I am fine. Ab dard ki aadat ho gai hai. Don’t worry ap ki Nandu bhut strong hai.
She smiled politely not wanting her to worry.
Beta thora rest ker le, teri tabiyat theek nahi lag rahi.
Shanno chachi said with concern.
Nahi Chachi mein sach me theek hon. I have to go to Space to collect my certificate. And I am getting late so mein bahar se kuch kha loon gi. Ap log chinta mat kerna.
She protested and got up hastily from the bed. Taking a quick bath she rushed towards the Space Academy.
Nandini’s POV
Chachi ko tu bol dia per kya mein khud strong reh paon gi. Mein kese face karon gi usey.
She was feeling so helpless. She didn’t want to face them especially Him and yet she had to. She wanted to see if he is happy damaging her heart. She wanted to see how much satisfied he was seeing her broken beyond repair.
Ya Rabba, de de koi Jaan bhi agar
Dilbar pe ho na, Dilbar pe ho na koi asar
Kyun hamein usi insaan se muhabbat hoti hai jo hamara nahi ho sakta. Kyun usi insaan ke liye yeh Dil dharakta hai jise hamara dil torney se koi farq nahi parta. Kyun?
Manik tum ne hamare sath aisa kyun kia, hamara rishta tumhare liye mazaak tha. God please mera dil bhi us ki tarah pathar ka bana do, jo usey dekh ke zor se na dharkay, jise us ki nafrat se takleef na ho. It kills me every time to see him unaffected seeing me hurt. Please make me strong.
She wanted someone to hug her, to held her, to console her, telling everything was a bad dream. A traitor tear leaked out of her eye but she quickly wiped it.
Nahi Nandu, You are not a coward
You have to be strong for your loved ones.
Gathering herself she started her journey to Space Academy, the place which was a worst nightmare for her.
Mukti stirred as she opened her eyes with difficulty. She felt extremely hard floor beneath her. She hissed when all the happenings shook her mind. Her throat was extremely dry.
Someone drugged her and now she’s kidnapped.
Oh shit!! I am kidnapped.. Now what should I do? Mujhe kuch bhi ker ke yahan se nikalna hoga.
She hold her knees to her chest and panicked.
Suddenly a goon comes near her.
Mukti- Please let me go mujhe yahan kyun laya hai. Tum logon ko kuch nahi milne wala.
She yelled in a high pitch voice.
Goon- Arrey Chammiya tujhe kis ne kaha ke apun ne tujhe paise ke liye kidnap kia hai. Hum jo kerne wale hain na tere sath us se hamare sare paise wasool ho jayen ge. Tu bara kamaal ka maal hai wese.
He said lustily by tracing his dirty finger from her cheek to cleavage.
Mukti’s eyes widened and she backed down in the corner. Her body was trembling with fear.
Mukti- No please don’t do this. Please mein hath jorti hon tumhare agey.
It was a rare sight that the rough and tough Mukti Vardhan was literally begging in front of a goon. And suddenly she got an idea in her mind.
Mujhe Paani peena hai please mujhe paani de do.
She asked for water in a low voice.
Goon- Chal tu bhi kya yaad kare gi de deta hon paani wese bhi tere sath thore mazey liye begair tujhe aise marne nahi den ge.
He mocked her and left the room to bring water.
Mukti- Thank God us kidnapper ke agey hath jortey hue meri nazar us ke mobile pe par gai thi aur meine chupke se us ka mobile nikaal lia. Pheww!! Well Done!! Mukti Vardhan.
She proudly patted her shoulder.
Is se pehle wo log aa jayen mujhe jaldi se kisi ko help ke liye bulana hoga. Haan Manik ko call kerti hon. He’ll definitely come.
She called him thrice but his phone was switched off.
Please Manik pick up the call.
She again called him but there wasn’t any response from the other side.
She knew she is in a deep trouble. If by any chance kidnappers come to know about her little stunt. They won’t leave her. They will definitely do something very bad with her.
Me aise beth ke time waste nahi ker sakti. Han Nandini ko call kerti hon. She’s an angel. I know she’ll help me.
And she with trembling hands dialled her number. And luckily Nandini picked her call.
Mukti- Nandini I need your help. Please mujhe bacha lo. Save me.
She spoke up with quivering lips.
Nandini- Mukti tum, ye kis ka number hai aur kya hua? Why are you so panicked?
She asked with concern.
Mukti- Nandini mere paas zayada time nahi hai. Mujhe kisi ne kidnap ker lia hai. Ye log bhut bure hain. Please mujhe bacha lo in se.
Nandini- What, kisi ne kidnap ker lia hai... Do you know them?
Nandini was shocked when she got to know about Mukti’s kidnapping.
Mukti- No mein nahi janti inhe. Please help me Nandini... Save me.
She pleaded.
Do you trust me Mukti?
Nandini asked her.
Mukti- Yes I know you have a heart of gold. Tum mujhe kuch nahi hone do gi.
She answered with a firm trust.
Okay phir tension mat lo. Take a deep breath. Ek kaam karo tum jis number se call ker rahi ho na is ki live location on ker do. I’ll reach there as soon as possible. I won’t let anything happened to you. It’s Nandu’s Promise..
Mukti nodded her head and followed her instructions with trembling hands. She turned on her location. But soon someone snatched the mobile phone from her hand. The person back handed her and Mukti fall down due to the impact of slap.
“TUM"
Her eyes widened in shock after seeing the person in front of her. She was extremely shocked seeing him there.
