"My, my, Naruto-kun, you have got better manners since the last I saw of you, hmm?" Orochimaru mocked and chuckled. Naruto chuckled in return. "Why, thank you, Orochimaru-san. If you don't mind, I would like to come straight to the business." She said. He raised a brow with a smirk. "Oh? And what would that be?"
Naruto replied, mocking a regretful look, "Well, I would have acquainted with you because you are a powerful shinobi, a Sannin in fact, and I respect that. However, your ideals don't match with that of Konoha as of now. So, we are supposed to take you down. It's also a sad thing that your head is wanted for destroying Konoha and attempted murder of our Sandaime Hokage." She sighed sadly.
The others didn't know if she was acting or not. It was the memory of past battles that reminded them on whose side Naruto was.
"Well then," she said before attacking Orochimaru with a kick to his gut. He blocked it with his arm and tried to kick back, only for Naruto to dodge it and do a roundhouse kick. Orochimaru jumped away and went through hand seals. "Thousand Snakes Jutsu!" His arms morphed into multiple snakes that elongated and attacked Jiraiya and Naruto. They dodged the snakes before looking at each other.
Jiraiya then shouted, "Fire Release: Flame Bullet!" Naruto whispered alongside, "Wind style: Great wind breakthrough." The wind Jutsu enhance the power of the fire Jutsu, widening its range. Of course Orochimaru slipped to the side to escape it. Naruto was waiting for him there. Before he could react, she cut off the snakes. His arms retracted back to normal.
"You got your hands back, Orochimaru-san." Naruto observed, her voice void of any expression. Orochimaru smirked, "Oh yes, with the Jutsu that helps me stay immortal. I won't be falling for the same trick again." Naruto smirked back, "I should hope not, otherwise, you would disappoint me. You never fail to surprise me, Orochimaru-san." She controlled anger that threatened to rise at the remembrance of the stolen Uzumaki scrolls. She will find them and return them. No matter what.
Jiraiya was about launch another attack with Naruto when Kabuto arrived and shielded his master. Naruto could've perhaps tolerated Orochimaru, but Kabuto had always grated her nerves. Nevertheless, she kept her cool. Naruto and Jiraiya launched another round of their attacks and Kabuto and Orochimaru retaliated. This was getting nowhere since Orochimaru had shed his skin whenever a tough jutsu hit him. Naruto manoeuvred Kabuto so that the two of them had their own battle away from Orochimaru, Jiraiya and their respective summons.
The two battles were far away. Kabuto turned on his chakra scalpels. Naruto took her own stance, coating her body with chakra. "Clever, aren't you? Do you think that the chakra coat would stop my scalpels?" Kabuto smirked. "Naruto-kun, I'm too experienced to not think of it." Naruto smirked back, "My apologies, Kabuto-san. I didn't mean to offend you. I must try whatever I can to protect myself, right?" She gave a smile too sweet for his liking.
They engaged in battle. Naruto tried to escape the scalpels, but Kabuto was more agile. In fact, his movements resembled that of a snake. He was Orochimaru's assistant and apprentice, it made sense. He caught her off guard enough number of times to injure some of her vital organs.
Kurama's chakra was healing her body already but was having more work to do. Naruto inwardly grinned. This was a good opportunity to test out something. Red chakra covered her body, giving her feral features. Blue eyes were replaced with red with black vertical slits, more like a fox than a cat. Two ears and two tails formed from the chakra. Either it would help her finish him off or help allow her to test her endurance with the power of each tail. A win-win situation.
She lashed out at Kabuto, who had no option but to go on defense. He was able to escape the lethal blows. After a series of kicks and punches, Naruto increased the number of tails to four. She was able to control them perfectly. Kabuto was on the receiving end of the blows, his chakra working overtime to heal him. Naruto grew a fifth tail. Once formed, it was difficult to maintain. Kabuto, who was badly bruised, tried to escape when Naruto was busy trying to control herself.
Naruto noticed this and took a gamble. She channelled more of Kurama's chakra and saw a sixth tail growing, her appearance had changed but she didn't care when it had changed. The tail was the only indication she had of the incoming rampage before she blacked out.

When she woke up in her mindscape, she saw a grumpy Kurama. "Hello brother. What bit into your tails?" Kurama huffed. "You, you idiot! What were you thinking, channelling so much of my chakra? It's a good thing I took over when you lost control, or else you would've been more injured than now, and the destruction would've reached Iwagakure."
Naruto blinked before realizing what he said. She sighed in relief and knelt down. "I am extremely sorry Kurama-sama. Thank you for taking over in the nick of time." Then she gave a grin both sheepish and cheeky. "But you must admit it was a good test of my control over your chakra." Kurama smacked her head before sighing. "Yes, it was, and now I know how to help in your training to control it better."
"Now that's what I am talking about!" Naruto grinned. "So, what are my 'injuries'?" "Nothing except skin and flesh burn. All of your skin has been burnt. Internal injuries- none. Those caused by Kabuto have been healed during the battle."
Naruto smirked. "Ne, Kurama Onii-sama, you know very well that the seal on my temple can heal me well enough. Why did you heal me?" Kurama froze before grunting and turning away. "It's because, well, I thought you'd keep that stupid diamond a secret. Moreover, it's not me, my chakra acted on its own." He stuttered. Naruto's smirk widened. "Yes, Onii-sama. I totally believe you. It's not like you wanted to heal me and in panic forgot about the seal. Yep, definitely not."
Kurama didn't reply. Had his fur been of any other colour, his blush would have been visible.
"Right, so, why do I feel the seal acting on my body?" Naruto asked. "What happened after you took over?"
"Well, I pulverized the Yakushi snake. Literally. I then controlled my chakra till it receded before withdrawing. The Fox seal holding your appearance is still intact. The old pervert carried you to an inn, both under Henge. After taking care of you for an hour, he left for 'research'. Since your foolish mistake attracted the Akatsuki, I masked my own chakra after changing your chakra nature to that of Osamu. To heal your burns while I couldn't, I activated that diamond." Kurama shrugged, grumbling half-heartedly.
Naruto pondered. "How long am I out?" "Now? It's almost five hours." Kurama replied and she nodded. "I feel almost healed. I need to restore the chakra of the Byakugou seal. Time to wake up and work."
When she woke up, she found a note from Jiraiya, a cup of instant Ramen and some Onigiri (Rice balls). She finished her food when Jiraiya came.They exchanged stories of their battles. Naruto told that she had channelled some of Kyuubi's chakra to match Kabuto, but she had lost control. However, Kabuto was dead, so it was fine. Jiraiya told that he was close to winning thanks to Manda's arrogance. That giant snake had to return to its realm, and Orochimaru soon slithered away, probably to another hideout.
Naruto then transformed into Shimizu Osamu, blocking out Kurama's chakra, and asked Jiraiya to disguise himself as well. They checked out of the inn before Jiraiya changed his appearance as a black-haired lean man with greying hair. "So, Gaki, where are we headed to in these forms?"
Naruto gave a sly smile that Minato used to give before planning an attack.
"Orochimaru's hideout."
