"here, your vanilla latte." jake slids the coffee cup to her, while the girl is too focused at her phone, texting her sister.
"is that nayeon noona?" he cocked an eyebrow, grabbing her attention. yeona let out a soft 'yea' before turning her attention fully to him.
"what did you guys talk about?" he grinned. "hm? oh, nothing much. just catching up." said yeona.
"now, why did you brought me here?" she asked, as he laughed. "just because." he smiled, looking at the dog outside the coffee shop, "gosh, i could kill you and said just because as well." jake laughed at her remark.
"jake." she called the boy who was too focused over a dog playing outside. the boy hummed turning his attention towards her.
"about you, liking me.."
ooh mf opened a serious conversation
"yea?" jake eyes lit up, as she mention quite a topic. she was about to say 'i like you too.' but she hesitated, and she didn't.
"nevermind." she sighed, making the boy frowned. "don't set people like that, i almost had a heart attack." he rolled his eyes playfully before laughing.
just like yeona, jake took this topic very seriously, everything related to that, will surely gives him heart attack as he mentioned.
now, they're walking back to yeona's dorm. they don't wanna leave so soon but yeona has lectures in one hour. while walking, they did their daily routine— cracking some weird and lame jokes (and pickuplines too)
"yeona, did you swallow magnets?" jake asked between their laughters, "what the hell? no!" she laughed "cuz dang, you're attractive" that's it. enough for yeona to lose it all. they both laughed and continue laughing until they're infront of the campus gate.
"this is where i leave you." jake wiped his non-existing tears, "dramatic." she giggled. she waved goodbye to him before turning to walk away, something stopped her from doing so.
she turned around to jake who is not so far away from her too before calling his name.
jake replied with a "WHAT?", making yeona laughed, motioning him to look at his phone, as she sent him something.
