Do you know what hurts a lot?
It is when you love someone so damn much, and no matter what you do, they believe you trust them and love you just as much as you do them.
And you see the relationship's progress, but it all goes away somehow.
And it is like all of a sudden you're back at square one with them having to rebuild what you had already built and already had just to lose it again.
To be able to see what you had just for it to be taken away by broken trust and broken promises by the ends of both parties thinking there would be no consequences even in the littlest things, and then coming to the realization of the minutes, hours, days, weeks, or even months of damage repair that will inevitably have to go down just to bring back what was once a tremendous blossoming love and is now just a dying plant needing to be taken care of.
But instead, you watch it wither away and die.
But what can you do to repair what was always meant to be broken?
What was meant to fall apart
What was always meant to wither away
What was always meant to break
All of the time spent tougher
All of the happy memories
All the laughter now just a song only we heard.
Only we can see
Only we can touch
Only we know
Something special is for us, and no one else gets to enjoy the last few good times we will have before the inevitable time we have to say goodbye and leave the safe haven we created in one another, but tomorrow is another day.
Another chance to have better memories with someone else
Another chance to love someone harder than we loved one another
And to love stronger than we did each other.
And hope for others to find happiness that we could not provide for each other.
And when the time comes to say goodbye, it will be epic.
