Sweat appeared on Seraphina's forehead as she slowly tilted her head and saw Demian stood at a distance and behind him stood his men in strong armours. They seemed to be prepared and sent a strong vibe from them.

However, more than them, Demian's face portrayed as of an angry lion, sending daggers at her as the knights behind him stood with wide gaps in their mouths.

"Err... Demian! I thought you also went in disguise. Ahaha." A nervous chuckle left from Seraphina's mouth and it didn't help the little prince to calm down at all.

"You! I told you not to meddle with my business!" Demian's brow twitched vigorously as Seraphina paled. "I should have tied you down!"

From around a corner Casian and his attendant, Allison came in and Demian's eyes fell on them including the wizards'. "Ahh, well, now that the Dragon's Guards are here, I see no point in saving Your Highness. I shall return then..."

Demian quirked an eyebrow. When did he start to think of his protection? And another question popped in his mind, how did Seraphina come here that fast? He narrowed his gaze at Casian and sensed Seraphina stiffened in her place. A thought clicked in her mind. So that how it went!

His head slowly, very slowly moved toward where his dear wife stood. Seraphina must have sensed it as she gulped.

His eyes darkened as he said in a low, threatening voice, "Seraphina..." She flinched at his low growl as he asked, "Did you, perhaps, come here with Prince Casian?"

Seraphina stood there unmoving as if an unwavering force had caught her in a tight grip and it seemed the knights of Rockdelia felt it as well, as they gulped looking at him warily and forgetting all about the enemies. At that moment, The Young Prince seemed more terrifying than the wizards.

Casian smiled, "Oh, don't be so hard on Princess Seraphina now, dear cousin." His voice coated with mockery, "What could I do when a helpless poor, little lady asked for my help? I can't be that cruel."

The muscles clenched in Seraphina's jaw as she glared at Casian but could not continue as Demian sent her more terrifying glares that she wondered how come she was still alive. "I- I didn't asked for his help!" Seraphina tried to gather confidence in her voice but failed miserably as the young prince's gaze become harsher.

"It seems we need a good talk when we return, Seraphina..." The way he phrased her name made her knees wobble and she never felt frightened more than this. Certainly, Merlene was the only one who could make her scared but Demian! He was on entirely different level. He was scary! She wanted to somehow escape that 'talk'. She took a mental note to avoid that at any cost.

"Well, you will certainly have a very intimate talk but in heaven," the beard man said as he swung his sword and met with the sword of a soldier who stood before Seraphina. Seraphina diverted her attention at him as black mist that came from his skin, engulfed the men and she launched herself at it knowing very well that a normal sword had no power against it. She was glad the dwarfs had made her a sword with the fire stone. As fire stones had the power to cut through any mists especially if it was forged with dark powers.

"Seraphina!" Demian shouted and ordered the men who stood surrounding him, "Charge! And protect Princess Seraphina!"

Seraphina cut the mist and shouted, "No! Wait!" Her sword kept slashing through the mist as it was trying to expand. "Don't leave Demian!"

But the men had already reached her and she had no time to explain them the situation. From beneath their feet, strong roots sprouted out and wrapped around their legs in their tendrils. The vines grew more and more as thorns appeared on them. The thorns went into their skin but the soldiers didn't even squeak. Seraphina cut the mist as it had a poisonous touch and had already wounded the Dragon guards.

The front soldiers fought with the bearded wizard while the soldiers behind them cut down the plants but even though they kept cutting it, the plant seemed to have growing more almost like regenerating immediately.

No wonder they were high tiers. Seraphina thought and it seemed it would not stop any moment and it would certainly not help to cut through it as after some time everyone would be tired and would eventually get killed by their powerful mist and roots.

Seraphina looked through the mist and saw the bearded man was busy fighting with the soldiers. It was a mesmerising sight as he was an excellent swordsman fighting the front soldiers all by himself. He had drawn out two swords and she couldn't see the movements of his hands. But as the men from Dragon's guards had occupied his attention, it created a chance to get to the other man who stayed further behind.

She took the mist as it devoured her and she heard Demian shouting her name, his voice had a hint of worry and Seraphina mentally apologized for making him feel that way when all he wanted was her safety.

As the mist touched her, she felt a burning on her skin and holding her breath, she jumped. She came out of the mist and landed behind the beard man.

The wizard wasn't prepared but he turned around. However, it was late as Seraphina's sword tip jabbed into his chest and Seraphina pushed it more as a grown left from the back of him. The mist that had surrounded the soldiers vanished immediately as the man tumbled down on the ground.

"Ranga!" The other wizard shouted and as if he could not believe that his partner was dead and it was far more unbelievable as it was none other than a girl who killed him. His eyes turned wide and as he went into a shocking state, his roots stopped moving as well.

The men didn't leave a chance as they pulled out the roots from the ground and stood behind their Princess in a protective half circle. Even when they were wounded by the deadly mist and the thorns, it seemed it didn't do much as they stood high on their glinting armours which screamed of dragons. The deadly creatures of all the races.

The man growled, "You! You will pay for what you have done to my brother!" And he held his hands in the air high above his head as he started chanting in a language that Seraphina could not understand but it certainly brought back memories. Memories from when her father had placed a seal on her. Her heart banged loudly against her chest and as if it shouted that it with a loudest voice, 'Get back'.

"Careful!" Seraphina shouted above her lunges and the ground shook beneath their feet. Had he summoned an earthquake? The way it shook vigorously it in just one point, it didn't seem like an earthquake. Then what was this terrifying feeling she had been getting?

Seraphina's inside howled as the air seemed to have stopped moving around them as they all felt a deadly silence. The soldiers' feet backed away a little as tension filled in their postures.

Seraphina moved her eyes at Demian, her heart racing as she ran toward him. The men retreated as well and the ground cracked open where they stood not a while ago. A giant vine grew from it, thorns of all sizes appeared on its green tendrils and it went upward breaking the ground in the process. No one had ever heard terrific sound more than this as bits by bits, the soil was devoured in its wake. It grew large and large and large as if it was unleashed to tear apart the sky as she thought, what had he done!

She might hadn't concentrated on learning the ancient language of the sorcerers but she knew it held great powers to unleash some terrifying magics or capture beasts of mythical creatures that they had never heard of.

As she reached beside Demian, he shouted, "Kill the wizard!" Even when the situation was this dire, he wasn't least afraid instead he took the lead as he said, "The wizard is still chanting! If we kill him now, we might have a chance! Otherwise, it will kill all the people in the city of Rockdelia." And he mumbled in his breath, "or, the whole Dragon nation." His brows ceased as Seraphina thought what would she do. She felt helpless as the giant vine kept spreading its area and cracking ground. It terrified her.

She clenched her fists.

If only she had her powers...

As the knights tried to approach the wizard before Demian's eyes, the vile plant's tendrils slapped them all as they fell on the ground hard and some went flying toward the sea. It seemed the mist had effected their movements and some of them had burns. Luckily the armours did a good job at protecting them but thorns had wounded their legs.

He felt Seraphina clenching her fists and knowing her, she would definitely do something stupid and he could never let that happen. His hand reached her palm and wrapped it in a tight grip as she looked at him. Without looking at her, he said, "Stay behind me."

He knew when she felt helpless and unable to do something to save the people before her, she gets reckless. Demian had already witnessed that and he didn't want it to repeat again. When Seraphina didn't do as he said, Demian tilted his head, his eyes darkened as he ordered with a hoarse voice which made her flinch, "I said, stay behind me!"

Seraphina's eyes showed hurt as his heart felt a pang but it was for her safety even if she felt upset with his rude behavior.

Demian noticed from his peripheral view that there was a movement in the sea. As he moved his eyes he saw, the other Dragon soldiers he had sent beforehand with Generation Mifaso came back as they swim back to the dock. His brows knitted together as he had sent them to the ship taking the water as their cover but why were they here so fast?

They huffed as they came rushing toward him and he asked, "Why are you here?"

"Your Highnes, they have tricked us." He said as he bowed. Around twenty to thirty men stood behind him as they got perplexed at seeing the giant tree growing.

"What do you mean?" He hissed.

"They weren't on the ship because they had been occupying the whole port, " Seraphina answered from behind her and it seemed the tree was the signal for them to come out as around fifteen to twenty men appeared surrounding forest. They had them cornered to the doc and there was a viperous air surrounded them and all of them had devilish grins as if they had won.

A wizard with an eye patch stood just further behind the spell caster and he grinned at him as it irked Demian. His eyes narrowed down at the wizard and he knew he was the captain of the slave ship and he was waiting for him to appear.

Seraphina mumbled weakly, "I- I was about to warn you. But it was too late." Demian could sense her getting upset over it as she told him late. But she was busy to fight the mist so his soldiers could be able to fight against them. He had no complaints toward her because if she wasn't there, the mist could have done worse to his men and even more damage to his plan that he raked his head through the whole previous day.

"Seraphina..." He called her name and tightened his grip on her hand to relax her. She seemed to be relaxed at his gesture immediately.

"Who do you think I am?" He asked as he looked at her from over his shoulder.

His dear wife blinked innocently while standing behind him with questioning eyes as he smirked making her frown deeper.

"I am The Young Prince of the Dragons, the Cruelest of them all and I know exactly what a vile man can do."
