Y/n's POV
"There's the big dipper," My best friend since I was born and longterm crush, Louis Partridge says pointing up at the night sky.
"It's beautiful," I say as we sit there in silence just looking up at the stars.
"How many stars do you think are up there?".
"I don't know, probably a lot, but it's pointless to count stars".
"It's pointless to count freckles to, but I know you have 24 on the edge of your right hand," he whispers turning towards me.
I lift up my right hand and smile. Louis soon takes hold of it.
"Can I tell you something?," He asks me sitting up.
"Of course Lou".
"Y/n I'm in love with you, infact I've been in love with you for a years," he says.
"I- I'm in love with you too Louis," I say smiling, he breathes a sigh of relief and smiles.
"You have no idea how long I've wanted to say that," we both say at the same time causing us both too laugh.
He presses his lips onto mine, cupping my face. I melt in his touch, running my hands through his soft hair.
As you break apart he says, "I love you y/n".
"I love you too Lou" I respond.
