Y/n's POV
I was on my way school when I heard like 5 different girls continuously say "JoJo"
That poor man
I continued walking so now I happened to be right behind them but far enough as to not be noticed. I wasn't following them they just had the same path. They all started fighting because one clung to his arm. I continued walking and got infront of them as they verbally fought eachother
"Ugly"
"No-boobs"
They kept repeating that to eachother. My patience was running thin but I couldn't just yell out. So I ignored it but Mr. Giant could not. He turned around and yelled
"Shut up! You're annoying!" I began laughing as it didn't do what he wanted. They all began squealing. He gave me a glare and I just smirked. That's when I felt someone staring in my general direction. I turned to see a man with red hair
I don't recognize him. Must be new
I continued walking and as Jotaro got to the steps he suddenly fell. I watched him fall down the stairs and that's when I saw it. A purple hand grabbed onto the branch. All the girls ran towards him. I wasn't so worried that he was injured. He's a big boy so he's fine. I want to know what I just saw. Is it like my little follower thingy? I walked down the steps and managed to persuade the ladies to leave.
"Let me heal your injuries but in return I want information" I say staring at him. He looks at me and glares
"I don't need your help" He says standing up
"Fine suit yourself Mr. Kujo" I say walking away and waving.
I really need information though so I'll wait in the infirmary
I walked to the infirmary and waited for him and just as I thought he came.
"Oh good you're here. Now I want answers" I say. He ignores me and the nurse comes to check on him
"JoJo, how did you get that cut? You didn't get unti another fight, did you? And take off your hat! It's poor manners" She says as she tries to take off his hat. He moves and she misses. I watch amused.
"Nurse, has JoJo ever gotten seriously injured in a fight? There's no way that would happen" A boy says
"Yeah!" The other says
"Well you've got a point. Then I guess I'll believe that you just fell, you scatterbrain " The nurse says pulling out scissors
"Hey, hold on. What are you trying to do?" Jotaro asks moving away
"I'm cutting your pants" She says. Jotaro gets up
"No you're not" He says
"Well I can't treat you through them" She says
"I'll take them off" Jotaro says
"Or I could do it with my little ghost thingy" I mutter so only Jotaro can hear. He turned to me and narrowed his eyes. I pulled my stand out
"It'll only take like 10 seconds" I say while the Nurse is busy with the other two. He walks over to me
"You have a stand" he says with a glare
"A what? I have a ghost? Yes, and I know you have one too. I'll heal you but in return I want information" I say
"Fine" He says. I pull out my stand and heal his leg.
"There, now tell me why I have a stand? Is that what you call it?" I ask. He bends down to check his leg when a handkerchief falls out. He picks it up and his eyes widen. That's when both of us turned to see the nurse acting crazy
"What are you doing nurse?!" One of the boys asked scared
"I'm resetting the thermometer by waving it around" She says
"Th-Thermometer? Nurse, that's a pen!" He yells. Me and Jotaro just watch
"A pen? Did you say a pen? Does this look like a pen to you?! How... How stupid can you be?! This thermometer actually looks like a pen to you?! Then have a... better... look!" She yells. She goes to stab them but I kick her in the gut. She falls down and I keep her restrained. That's when I noticed a green snake thingy
"What is that?" I asked
"It's a stand, probably Kakyoin's" Jotaro says. That's when suddenly the woman's strength changes. She manages to get out from under me and heads for Jotaro
"You're not going to tell me that this looks like a pen, are you?!" She says as she goes to stab Jotaro. He grabs her hand but still gets cut.
"How is she so strong? This isn't a woman's strength" He says
"What's that supposed to mean?" I ask as I glare at him. He ignores me as he avoids losing an eye
"Kakyoin was the one who cut my leg earlier on the stairs?" Jotaro asks himself
"Precisely" The man with red hair says
"Y-You're.." Jotaro begins
"Hey. Short time no see. My stand's possessed that nurse and is controlling her. Attacking my stand will mean hurting that nurse, JoJo" Kakyoin says
"It doesn't matter, I can heal her" I say surprisingly calm. Kakyoin looks at me
"You're a stand user?" He asks
"Depends who's asking" I say
"Just who are you?!" Jotaro asks Kakyoin
"I told you. I'm Noriaki Kakyoin. The name of my stand is Hierophant Green. I am human, but my loyalty is to him... therefore, I shall kill you!" Kakyoin yells. I then watch Jotaro kiss the nurse. My eyes go wide
"Huh?!" I ask as I cringe. Kakyoin stares shocked as well. They break apart but then I see his stand holding Hierophant Green in its mouth
"I won't hurt her. Now that I've dragged it out... I see... it's just a sleazy stand that can't do anything but possess people" Jotaro says. His stand bites down which causes Kakyoin to flinch in pain. Jotaro's stand then grabs Hierphant Green by the head
"Kakyoin, this is your stand? All green and striped... It looks like a shiny melon" Jotaro says. Kakyoin groans in pain
"You're going to regret dragging that out of her, JoJo" Kakyoin says. Jotaro puts down the nurse
"Don't try and act tough. I can see my finger marks on your forehead. If I go ahead and crush your stand's head like a melon, it looks like your head will be crushed, too. I'm gonna keep a grip on you for a while. I'll take you to the old man. I'm sure he'd love to meet you. And I'd like to know more about Dio myself" Jotaro says. The windows then close and green stuff oozes from Kakyoin's stand.
"What? Green fluid is coming out of his stand's hands?" Jotaro asks confused. I just stood by and watched knowing it'd be smarter if I stayed out of the fighting
"I already told you, JoJo. That you would regret this. Feel the attack of my stand, Hierophant Green!" Kakyoin says
"Don't make any weird moves!" Jotaro says. Kakyoin's stand then makes emeralds out of the green water
"Emerald Splash!" Kakyoin yells. All of us had been hit with it. I had good defense so I wasn't hit so bad but Jotaro went flying.
"What do you think? Emerald Splash. What looked like the bodily fluids of my stand, Hierophant Green, was a vision of destructive energy! It's pierced through your stand's chest. Therefore, your insides have been torn to shreds. And that nurse" Kakyoin says
"What? I'm certain I removed the stand from her" Jotaro asks confused
"I already told you, attacking my Hierophant Green would mean hurting her. My stand can reach further than yours, but it doesn't like open spaces. It prefers to hide within something. If you drag it out, it gets angry. That's why, when it came out from her throat, it hurt her. It's your fault, JoJo! This is your responsibility! This is your fault, JoJo! You did thi-" Kakyoin began. But I cut him off as I walked towards him
"Listen here cherry boy. I don't really care who you are or what your purpose is but you're starting to annoy me. So I suggest you shut up or I'll make you" I say giving him a glare. He looks at me
"And you are?" He asks
"None of your concern. So Jotaro whenever you feel like getting up. Let me know, cuz I can 1v1 this guy. Obviously not with the stand but like if you take care of the stand and I take care of Kakyoin we could win" I say.
"Get out the way and heal me up" he says. I groan
"You're no fun!" I whine as I walk over to him. I quickly heal him up. He stands up
"I, Jotaro Kujo, am labeled a punk. I tend to overdo it with my opponents in fights, so much that some are still in the hospital. There was one idiot teacher who was all talk, so I taught him a lesson, and he hasn't come back to school. At restaurants that served me lousy food, I leave without paying the bill all the time. But, even I know nauseating evil when I see it. Evil is when you use the weak for your own gain, and crush them under your foot. Especially a woman! That is exactly what you've done! Your stand isn't visible to the victim or the law. Therefore, I shall judge you!" Jotaro says monologuing
"Evil? There, you are wrong! Evil refers to the loser. Justice refers to the victor. The last man standing! The method doesn't matter!" Kakyoin yells. He then attacks Jotaro but he dodges. Then Hierophant Green restrains Jotaro.
"You want some help?" I ask
"Stay out of it" He says
"Okay, okay" I say
"The loser is the evil one. And now, the final blow!" Kakyoin yells charging up his emerald splash
"What? The loser is evil?" Jotaro asks
"Emerald Splash!" Kakyoin yells launching his attack
"Well, in that case" Jotaro says. He takes the attack head on and manages to not get hurt
"What?! Impossible! He shrugged off the Emerald Splash?" Kakyoin asks shocked
"You're the evil one after all!" Jotaro yells as his stand begins attacking Hierophant Green. Kakyoin collapses and falls unconscious. Jotaro looks at the nurse
"Hey, make yourself useful and fix her up" Jotaro says
"Don't order me around, I'm not one of your fangirls" I say with a glare walking towards the nurse. He gives me one back as I heal her up.
"Well I'm ditching school today" Jotaro says as he picks up Kakyoin
"So am I" I say once I'm finished healing her. I walk behind Jotaro. He then jumps out of the school and I follow. We walk to his house. We get to the door
"I'm not thinking about you" Jotaro says harshly
"Jotaro! Wh-What about school? And who is that? He's covered in blood! D-Don't tell me you did that?" The woman asks
"It's got nothing to do with you. I'm looking for the old man. Sucks having to find him in such a huge house" Jotaro says
"I think your grandfather's in the tea room, with Mister Avdol" The woman says. I follow Jotaro. Jotaro suddenly turns around
"Hey!" Jotaro says
"Yes?" The woman asks
"You look a little pale this morning. Are you alright?" He asks. She smiles
"Yay! Fine, thank you!" She says doing a peace sign. That's when it clicks
I think that's his mom
We walk into the room to see two buff men. Jotaro lays him down and the men look at him
"Well, this is no good. It's too late for him. He's not going to make it. He'll die in the next few days. Jotaro it's not your fault. Look. The reason that this man swore loyalty to Dio and came to kill you, is right here!" The old man yells lifting up Kakyoin's hair
"Ew! What is that?!" I ask feeling uncomfortable
"You said that's the reason he swore loyalty to Dio?" Jotaro asks
"That is a flesh bud, formed from Dio's own cells. It connects to his brain. This tiny flesh bud was implanted in his brain to influence his mind." The fine man said
"In other words, that flesh bud is a controller that draws forth certain feelings. Charisma! The feeling that make soldiers want to obey dictators! The feelings that make true believers follow cult leaders! This young man admired Dio and swore loyalty to him! Dio is a charismatic figure, which means he can sway others with his overwhelming powers of attraction. He used that to order this young man, called Kakyoin, to kill us" Joseph says
"So why does he want y'all dead?" I ask. They look at me
"Come with me Miss.." The fine man began but didn't know my name
"Y/n" I say
"Miss Y/n, I shall explain in another room" He says getting up. I follow him to another room
"I know this is off topic but you're highly attractive" I say. He laughs
"Thank you for your kind words. My name is Muhammad Avdol" He says. We walk to a table and sit down
"So around 100 years ago Jotaro's great grandfather fought a man named Dio. Jonathan who is his great grandfather died on a ship that sank and Dio was supposed to have too but he stole Jonathan's body and is now trying to eradicate the Joestar's" Avdol says
"But why?" I ask
"To be honest I'm unsure but I believe he has a superiority complex and believes the Joestar's are a threat" Avdol says. I nod
"Now let us head back" Avdol says. I nod and we walk back
"Don't you realize why part of the flesh bud is outside of his body?" I hear someone ask. Avdol opens the door
"That's why not even the best surgeon could extract it! Crap!" The old man yelled. I watched as it stabbed Jotaro's hand
"The flesh bud stabbed him with a tentacle! This isn't good! Let go, JoJo!" Avdol says
"It will try to enter the brain of anyone who tries to extract it!" The old man says. I then noticed Kakyoin woke up. I ran over and leaned over him
"Keep still unless you want to die" I say in a serious tone
"You..." Kakyoin says. He begins pulling it out. I turn to Jotaro to see the thing had reached up to his neck. I almost vomited then and there. I felt so uncomfortable.
"Let go, JoJo! It's gone up to your neck!" Avdol yells reaching out to him
"Wait, Avdol! My grandson is quite the man. It's entered his body, and yet he's completely cam. He isn't even trembling. Nor his stand! He moves with more precision and strength than I anticipated" The old man says. Jotaro pulls it out
"He did it!" Avdol yells. His stand then yanks it out of his hand and ties it in knot. The old man lights up with electricity and disintegrates it
"Overdrive!" He yells. Kakyoin gets up
"Why? Why did you risk your life to save me?" Kakyoin asks Jotaro
"Who knows? I'm not really sure myself" Jotaro says
"Aww Mister Kujo has a soft spot" I say taunting him
"Shut up" He says as I glare at him. I laugh.
"Now let me heal you up" I say pulling out my stand and healing him
"Thank you very much" he says to me. Jotaro's mom walked in
"Kakyoin was it? You should rest for a while. Stay the night. Papa, please get his futon ready" The woman says
"Why do I have to do that? I've never even liked the idea of sleeping on the floor! Holly replace the futon in my room with a real bed!" The old man asks
"Papa, you're in Japan, so please just get used to the Japanese way of doing things. Oh and call me Seiko." Holly says
"What?!" The old man asks
"All my friends call me Seiko" She says
"What is that?! Holly is the wonderful name I gave you mys-" The man says
"If you don't call me Seiko from now on, I won't answer" Holly says
"Holly!" The man yells
"Do you hurt, Kakyoin?" Holly asks
"No, Y/n healed me up all nicely" Kakyoin says
"Good grief" Jotaro mutters
"Oh we all have to introduced ourselves properly. Why don't we do that now. My name is Joseph Joestar" the man says
"Jotaro Kujo"
"Noriaki Kakyoin"
"Holly Kujo"
"Muhammad Avdol"
"Y/n L/n" I say
"So Y/n are you Jotaro's girlfriend?" Joseph asked
"I was wondering the same" Holly says. Jotaro pulls his cap down and I start laughing
"That's so funny! Me?! His girlfriend?! No I wouldn't date him" I say seriously at the end. Everyone just stares
"I met the guy like last week. I don't know anything about him
~Time Skip~
I ended up spending the night because of the whole Dio thing. I told Jotaro I'd chill with him in his room but I slept on the floor away from him. There was a lot of marine like stuff in there. Me and Jotaro got ready for school. We were now getting ready to head to school
"I'm definitely going to go to school today" Jotaro says
"Hold on something isn't right" I say as I get a bad feeling. I run back in and happen to see Avdol
"Avdol, something isn't right" I say
"I've noticed as well. Miss Holly isn't here" He says. We both then notice a spoon. We follow it to an open door and that's where we see Holly unconscious.
"Holly/Miss Holly!" We both yell. We run over and Avdol picks her up. He puts his hand on her head
"She's got a really high fever, is she sick?" Avdol asks. That's when we both see a stand.
"This is, it can't be! P-Pardon" He says as he turns her over and pulls her shirt down. Which reveals her stand
"H-How can this be?" Avdol asks. I attempt to heal her but it attacked my hands. Blood ran down them.
Crap
"Are you alright?" Avdol asks
"Yes it's just a little blood. Holly is more important" I say
"It's intangible, it's a stand! A stand has manifested from Miss Holly, as well!" Avdol says as he fixes her shirt so her back isn't visible anymore.
"B-But this high fever. The stand is causing her harm. We thought that only JoJo and Mister Joestar were being affected by Dio's body, and were relieved that Miss Holly was unaffected. No, we merely wanted to be relieved" Avdol says. I listened to him speak as I knew it would be important.
"But there's no way she could be unaffected. Anyone who has the blood of the Joestar family in their veins should be affected by Dio. But stands are controlled by a person's mental strength, and move with their fighting instincts. Miss Holly is very gentle and peaceful. She therefore lacks the strength to withstand Dio's curse. She has no power to move her stand. That's why her stand is moving against her and harming her! This isn't good at all. At this rate, she'll die! She'll be killed!" Avdol exclaims
"Let me try healing her again" I say as Avdol gasps. I pull out my stand and attempt to heal her but it cuts me once more
"Miss Y/n.. stop it" Avdol says
"I'm fine, no pain, no game!" I say with a pained smile as I attempt again. My hands were completely covered in blood
"A s-stand. Holly" Joseph says. I stop and turn around to see Joseph and Jotaro shocked
"Tch" Jotaro says. Joseph then gets angry and slams Jotaro into the wall
"This... This is the one thing I feared most! M-My daughter finally has a stand. I knew she didn't have the power to withstand it. I knew she didn't have the power to deny the curse from Dio's soul" Joseph says. I then watch as Jotaro grabs Joseph's hand. Jotaro looked absolutely ticked off
"Tell me how we should deal with this!" Jotaro says
"There's only one way. We need to find Dio! We need to kill Dio and lift the curse! That's all we can do!" Joseph says. Me and Avdol had put her in a bed so she could rest. I kept trying to heal her but Avdol wouldn't let me
"Your hands are in terrible shape, I suggest you stop" Avdol says
"It's fine" I say
"Miss Y/n" Avdol says holding my wrists.
"No matter how many times I try, he hides in the darkness. In every spirit photo I take, the background is darkness! I cannot find out where he is with my spirit photos" Joseph says
"We've used various means to analyze them, but with this darkness, it always failed" Avdol says continuing to restrain me
"You should've told me that in the first place. I might be able to find out where that darkness or whatever is!" Jotaro says grabbing the photo. His stand analyzes it
"Did you see something in the space behind Dio? My stand is able to move with such accuracy that it could extract a flesh bud from his brain and with such precision that it can grasp a bullet. Let's have him sketch" Jotaro says. His stand then begins drawing something on the sketch pad
"A fly! A fly was in that space!" Avdol says letting me go
"But a fly won't help us at all-" Joseph says
"Wait a moment. I've seen this fly before!" Avdol says
"What?!" Joseph asks. I keep watch Holly
"JoJo, do you have an encyclopedia?" Avdol asks
"We've got a library" Jotaro says
"I'll take the memo and I'll go investigate." Avdol says running out. I see Holly wake up
"Ah you're awake" I say with a sweet smile
"Holly" Joseph says. Her eyes instantly fall to my hands. A frown on her face appears
"What happened to your hands?" She asks. My eyes widened
"I fell" I say lying
"You need to get that wrapped up" She says
"It's fin-" I began
"Jotaro could you bandage her hands?" Holly asks. Jotaro walks out. He came back with bandages and water for Holly
"Let me see your hands" Jotaro says. I hold my hands out and he begins cleaning and bandaging them.
"Thank you Jotaro. Really, I wonder what's wrong with me. I can't believe I took fever and passed out. But, I feel better now" Holly says with a smile
"You gave me quite the scare, Holly. Come now. You've got to brush your teeth now that you're up. Say ahh" Joseph says
"Ahh" She says. He begins brushing her teeth
"We've got to wash your face as well" He says washing her face
"And let's fix your hair" Joseph says brushing it
"Next your nails" Joseph says clipping her nails. He then feeds her an apple
"Papa, help me change my underwear too!" Holly says. All of our eyes go wide
"No let's not do that" I say
"I'm kidding! It was a joke!" Holly says laughing
"Now, then, what do you want to eat for dinner, Jotaro?" Holly asks
"Don't move! Just stay in bed!" Jotaro yells at her
"Don't yell at her!" I say kicking his shin. He gives me a glare. He puts his hat down
"I-I'm saying that you shouldn't do anything until your fever goes down. Just shut up and get better soon" Jotaro says softly. She then passed out
"Sh-She lost consciousness again. She's acting cheerful, but she's burning up. The way she acted confirmed it. Though she hasn't said anything, my daughter is aware of her stand. She was actually trying to hide her stand from us. She was trying not to worry us! That's what kind of person my daughter is." Joseph says
"Mister Joestar, I've found it! That fly is. This" Avdol says pointing to a book
"Egypt!" Joseph says
"And we've narrowed it down to the Aswan area. Dio is there!" Avdol says
"So it is Egypt" Kakyoin says
"What do you mean by that?" Joseph asks
"The flesh bud was planted in my brain three months ago. When my family was on vacation in Egypt visiting the Nile, I met Dio" Kakyoin says
"You were in Egypt, too? It appears for some reason, Dio doesn't want to leave Egypt" Avdol says
"When are you going? I'll go with you" Kakyoin says
"Go with us? Why would you?" Jotaro asks
"About that. I'm not sure why I suddenly want to join you, either" Kakyoin says
"Tch" Jotaro says
"I've regained my senses because of you. That's all" Kakyoin says
"I'm coming as well" I say
"With all due respect-" Joseph begins
"What you have a problem because I'm a woman? You think I'm not strong?" I ask raising my eyebrow
"No-" He began
"As far as I'm aware, I'm the only healer here. I have no offense but I'm high on defense" I say
~Time Skip~
Joseph agreed finally and the Speedwagon Foundation was taking care of Holly
"JoJo, Y/n, before we leave, since I am a fortune teller, I shall name your stand with the cards of fate, the Tarot. Choose a card blindly and it shall be decided." Avdol says
"Actually my stand is named Only You because I thought it was the only one" I say scratching my neck
"I see, then Jotaro this will suggest your fate, as well as suggest your stand's power" Avdol says. Jotaro picked one and got the star
"I shall name your stand Star Platinum!" Avdol says
"All right, we're off. Let's go" Joseph says
