After searching for a little while you finally find tony in the training room. you were surprised because he wasn't in there often.

tony: shit, you scared me. i didn't hear you come in. what's up?
y/n: i actually needed to talk to you.
tony: have you decided if you want to join the team? well join the team again? ( he laughs)
y/n: well yeah but i also needed to ask you something.
tony: so, are you joining?
y/n: well obviously.
he runs up to you pulling you into a hug and jumping up and down.
tony: yessss!
y/n: why are you so excited?
tony: you're the strongest one here plus i missed you.
y/n: i missed you too tony.
tony: now what did you want to ask me?
y/n: well, i know Wanda looks up to you and your opinion means a lot to her so i wanted to ask you for permission to propose to her...
tony: are you kidding? of course!
y/n: really?!
tony: of course, oh my god does this mean we can have a party?

tony: are you joking of course shell say yes ill start planning the party right away.

you both smile at each other before you go back to the living room you see Yelena sat there but Wanda is no where to be seen. which you're quite relived by. you quickly run to her.
Yelena: why are you running?
y/n: i need to ask you something before Wanda comes back.
Yelena: I'm flattered but you're not my type.
you laugh and hit her in the arm.
y/n: listen... I'm going to ask Wanda to marry me and i want you to come ring shopping with me.
Yelena: oh my god yes! finally. when are we going?
you see Wanda walk back into the room.
y/n: tomorrow now shh.
Wanda looks at you with a confused look before sitting down on the chair next to you.
Wanda: why you whispering.
y/n: i wasn't you must be hearing things.
Wanda: sure...
Yelena: did you guys want to watch a movie?
y/n: sure what did you want to watch?
Wanda: I'm actually going to go bed.
y/n: what's wrong?
Wanda: I'm just tired you can stay here i don't mind.

she leaves without saying anything and goes upstairs.
y/n: I'm not crazy right? she was definitely pissed.
Yelena: yeah she seemed weird, you can go check on her if you want ill just play some PlayStation before bed.
y/n: thankyou i don't want her in a bad mood for tomorrow.
you give her a hug and go upstairs after Wanda she's sat on the bed facing away from the door.
y/n: hey wands what's up?
Wanda: nothing I'm fine.
y/n: like you said earlier can we actually talk?
Wanda: is there something going on between you and Yelena?
y/n: what?
Wanda: secrets, whispering, always hugging or playfully punching each other. be honest.
y/n: were just really good friends, coming back here i was scared i had to face my dad, Nat and carol again and Yelena was there for me she's like my bestfriend nothing is going on at all i promise you.
Wanda: what was the whispering about when i came in?
y/n: I'm planning a date for us and i was asking her opinion or what to do but i didn't want to spoil it.
Wanda: why didn't you just say that.
y/n: i wanted it to be a surprise.
Wanda: I'm sorry i ruined it.
y/n: you didn't ruin it as long as you're there that's all that matters.
Wanda: i love you.
y/n: i love you too wands, now can you face me?
Wanda: sorry ( she laughs)

y/n: good, now lets go sleep I've got a busy day planned for us tomorrow.

y/n: you already know were going on a date I'm not telling you what were doing.
Yelena's POV
after y/n decided to go after Wanda i decided to check on nat. i went upstairs and she was watching a film in her room.
Yelena: hey Nat?
Nat: yeah?
Yelena: i need to tell you something.
Nat: sure come in.
Yelena: you can say anything because if she finds out I've told you she probably wont trust me ever again.
Nat: maybe you shouldn't tell me then.
Yelena: but you're my sister and your happiness matters to me. i just spoke to y/n and she's proposing to wanda...
Nat: when?
Yelena: I'm going with her tomorrow to get a ring so tomorrow i think.
Nat: why are you telling me?
Yelena: don't act stupid. you love her, i know you do and tomorrow might be the last chance you get to tell her so i just thought i should tell you. do what you will with that bit on information I'm going to give you some space to think.
Nat: thanks for telling me but I'm happy with Steve.
Yelena: sure... no offence Nat but he treats you like shit.
Your POV
todays the day you think to yourself before quietly getting out of bed trying not to wake Wanda you get dressed into shorts and a t-shirt. you leave a note.
The note:
hey i just need to do some shopping for our date tonight ill be back later make sure to dress fancy, i love you <3
you place the note on the table before going to Yelena's room and knocking on the door.
y/n: oi, you ready yet?
Yelena: yep, one second.
you see Nat approaching you from down the hall.
Nat: hey y/n could we talk?
y/n: I'm actually busy right now just waiting for your sister, but later?
Nat: its urgent.
Yelena opens the door to meet you in the hall.
y/n: she's ready now but we can talk later okay.
Yelena: if its urgent i don't mind.
y/n: we need to go but well talk as soon as i get back okay.
Nat: sure...
you and Yelena walk downstairs and get into your car driving to the shopping centre once there you go to multiple stores and none of the rings match the mental image of the perfect ring in your mind. after about 30 minutes you're at the last store and there it is the perfect ring. its silver double banded with a 3 diamonds between the bands.
y/n: its perfect ( you whisper looking at the ring)
Yelena: Jesus its also 27 grand.
y/n: she's worth it. excuse me sir ill take this one.
shop worker: fabulous choice ill box it up for you.
you pay for the ring and go back to your car driving back to the compound once you get there you hide the ring in you pocket. you walk into the compound and see Nat sat on the sofa.
Nat: y/n finally.
y/n: i told you we could talk, you didn't have to wait for me.
Nat: like i said its urgent.
y/n: come on lets go on the balcony.
Nat follows you out the balcony, one look at her face and you could tell she was nervous.
y/n: what's wrong you look scared.
Nat: I'm not scared I'm worried, but it doesn't matter i need to tell you something.
y/n: okay...
