The colour draining from my eyes,
the fear of failing one more time.
The pain that lives forever inside,
I can’t seem to take it away
no-matter how much I make it bleeds,
it’s always there.
I guess I’ll turn off the lights,
let it go dark again.
End it all tonight,
so no-one can hear me.
I guess I’ll close my eyes,
and hide away again,
bury it deep until I can’t breathe.
You don’t seem to care
about the tears that fall.
You don’t seem to see
pass the wall you broke down before.
And all through the night,
I’m hoping for better.
The time has come;
will I make it through the night.
I’ll guess I’ll turn off the light,
to make it alright.

I guess I’ll close my eyes,
so you can’t see the tears
that are haunting my life once again.
This seems a never ending cycle,
gradually more severe.
I can’t seem to stop this anymore,
it’s getting worse each day.
I don’t think I can do it much longer,
that’s it I give up, I give in, I let go.
I am done trying to pretend that I am okay.
It’s a never ending story,
about to end today.
It’s a memory waiting to kill me.
But I think it’s already begun.
I am so done with all of this.
It’s over I’m done……
