Alaya POV - 18 months later
"Come here, Draco," I yelled. He jogged over to me and waited for me to throw the ball.
I guess you can say I've been in a better head space since I got out of Chicago. I've been living in Lake Villa for a year and some time now, and I'm so happy I decided to move.
Every few weeks, I make a drive down to Chicago so Bella and sometimes Angelo can stay with me for a weekend or so. It's going to be summer break soon so I'm planning on going to get them so they can stay with me for the summer.
We still haven't heard from Nikki and no one has seen her. Part of me thinks something bad happened to her.
Durk, Pooh, and Von ended up making bail which I expected. Their lawyers don't fuck around so I knew they would get bonded out.
Before I left, I dropped 100k in bail money for them. No matter how mad I was at them, I didn't want them to rot in jail.
Durk's music career has been going great and he has a new girlfriend named India. She's really pretty and they have a daughter named Willow. He seems really happy with her.
I haven't even seen him or Von since that night they got arrested though. When I go get the kids, Bella usually tells him she's coming with me ahead of time and they come out to the car when I pull up.
Von's been doing good music wise, too. Asian ended up having his daughter True, but he also has a son by another girl.
He's dating some girl named Maya and he cheated on her with the girl who ended up having his son. But she took him back though and they seem like they're in a little fake happy relationship.
I visit Pooh, Coi, and Jayda whenever I go to Chicago and they're all doing great.
Jayda has gotten more social media famous and she had a little boy name Loyal. He's just the cutest little thing and he really makes her happy.
Coi got a hit single and she made a song with Pooh and that's blowing the charts, too.
I threw the ball for Draco and he ran after it. I looked to my right to see a worn out Shooter laying in the grass.
So, it turns out that Durk didn't do his research when he got Shooter because now he's even bigger than Draco.
I found out he's a Great Pyrenees, which is something I've never even heard of, and they get twice the size of a Rottweiler. So now I have two big dogs.
It's hard to invite people over to your house when they walk in and see 2 vicious guard dogs. I love my babies though.
My neighborhood is really quiet and most of my neighbors are super weird. I do talk to this white girl named Anissa who lives next door though.
She's one of those white girls who try to be black which I can't stand, but she's pretty cool and chill.
She comes over from time to time and we go out every once in a while. I even opened up to her about my social anxiety and she understood me.
"Alright let's go," I said loudly. Shooter got up and they both walked in the house behind me.
I fed them dinner and plopped on the couch turning on Spongebob. I couldn't even get into the show because my phone started ringing.
"Hello my beautiful twin," Bella said smiling in the camera.
She had gotten so big this past year, but that attitude and mouth is still the same.
"Hey, I know your calling because you need something."
"I don't, but my Daddy does," she replied.
"I haven't seen your father in almost 2 years. What could he possibly need?"
"Well, you know he's going on tour next week and he wanted to know if you would be willing to come back to Chicago and stay with us?"
"Why can't y'all just come stay with me here?"
"Because we still have two more weeks of school. Plus, he's going to be going back and forth and he wants to be able to see us for the days he's home."
"I really don't wanna go back to Chicago," I groaned.
Shit has been going good for me and I know as soon as I go back, I'm going back to being Old Laya.

The homie hopping Alaya - yeah that's enough...
"It's only going to be for about 3 months. You can bring the dogs and he never sold your old house so we can stay there if you want too. But I don't know what the dogs are gonna think about Willow, though," Bella ranted.
"Willow? He wants me to watch her too? Why can't India watch y'all?"
"She's going on tour with him and they don't have anybody to watch her."
"Ask his mama, ask Von, ask Coi, ask anybody! I was considering doing it until you said I had to watch a 6 month old baby."
"Laya please," she whined, "if you say no then we have to stay with Uncle Von and I don't have the patience for that nigga."
"What's wrong with Von?"
"Don't do that. You know that nigga is fucking irritating," she mugged me through the phone.
You see what I'm saying? That mouth hasn't changed...
"I don't know, twin. I can deal with you and Angelo, but a baby? That's asking for a little too much."
She paused for a minute before she put her whole face in the camera and smirked.
"He said he got a 150k for you."
"When does he want me to come?" I asked quickly.
150k? I'll watch all 6 of his bastards...
"He said Thursday. He leaves Friday after we go to school."
"Ok, I'll be there. We staying at my old place."
"Alright, twinny. I gotta go get in the sho-
"Hi, Laya," Angelo cheesed in the camera cutting Bella off and snatching her phone.
"Move, bitch!" She yelled at him, snatching the phone back.
"Little girl, what the fuck I tell you about all that cussing?" Durk yelled in the background.
"Shut the fuck up, hoe. Worry about India and Willow crybaby ass," she mumbled walking upstairs.
A mess...
"I'll talk to you later, I have to get in the shower," she said.
"Ok, love you."
"Love you too," she smiled hanging up.
There was a loud thump in the kitchen. I got up and saw Draco and Shooter eating my left over Chinese food.
"Oh my god," I whined before I start crying.
I really wanted that...
I might as well let them finish it now. I got in the shower and finished my mental breakdown about my food.
I got out and threw on a big t shirt. I made me some noodles to hold me over until the morning.
I was sitting in my bed eating when my phone dung. (A/N: or is dinged. or is it dang?)
It was a Cashapp notification from Durk and he had sent me 50k.
