A couple days later
It's the morning of the funeral...you feel numb but you have to put a brave face on for Harrison and all your family...
You get changed into a black dress..black tights..black heels with a big black coat on...you put on some makeup and tie your hair up in a ponytail...
You three get ready and go to the ceremony...in a cemetery
You already see the team and other people who you dad knew...
Harrison stays with Bucky the whole ceremony to give you some space...
The ceremony starts...
People give speeches and now it's your turn...
You grab the microphone and say...
"My dad..Steve Rogers...Was a lovely man..he cared for people who he didn't know...he was captain America he did his country proud...My dad meant the whole world to me since I was little since my mother died not long after I was born....he did everything to give me the perfect life and childhood...I'm only 27 I have kid...I'm married and I've lived most of my life with my father and now I have to do the rest without him....when Nat called me that day and I heard what had happened I broke into tiny pieces...I felt numb I lost my dad...my hero...my life...a grandad to my son...a father in Law to my husband....we lost captain America...I felt like I lost everything"-you stop for a sec not trying to cry
You carry on...
"He left me a note 📝 well notes for certain people...he gave me them a while ago just in case if anything happened in the future...one of them is Nat...me...Harrison...Bucky and the rest of the team....I love my dad...so much and I wish I never lost him...but I knew one day I had too...but not this early...He will always be in my heart...my mind...and looking over me and my family...and the team....I'm gonna miss him lots so I'm gonna have to get a grip and just think what he would want most for me too do...be happy and don't mourn him forever...I love you dad always and forever ♾ I hope we might again soon"-y/n
You put the mircophone on the floor and put roses and your dads coffin...
You step back with Harrison and Bucky and kiss them both on the head...
You haven't cried sooo that's alright for now...
The team says some speeches and you go back to the club for a little party to honour your dad..🍾🍾
You have a good night and soon head home with the boys fast asleep in the back...
You look at them and say
"My boys forever ♾"-y/n
You get outside your house and leave them to sleep in the car while you have a quiet night in without them...
