1. Both complete or incomplete are welcome!
2. Only English works, as I cannot read another language!
3. No fanfiction or poetry, as I am not qualified to judge them.
CATEGORIES
For the main awards, there are 10 categories:
New Adult | Young Adult
Historical Fiction | Horror
Paranormal | Mystery & Thriller
Fantasy | Science Fiction
Romance | Misc.
You may enter multiple stories, so long as they are all in different categories!
For the 'best of' awards, there are 5 categories:
Best Dialogue | Best Hook | Best Cover
Best Blurb | Best Opening Line
JUDGING CRITERIA
No numerical value will be used or given to 'grade' our winners. For the main awards, regardless of genre, we will only be looking at five (5) main criteria:
1. Solid grasp of grammar and confident display of writing style.
2. An engaging hook, and the polished delivery said hook.
3. Clean and clear execution of pacing, plot and overall story structure.
4. Robust exploration and understanding of setting, characters, and themes.
And finally, an important one:
5. Is the story genuinely interesting? Does it say something new, or explore a topic in a new and interesting way?
