I feel a cool sensation dripping down on me,
Rain.
Thomas's arms are still tightly wrapped around my torso, so I wiggle my way out to inspect how bad it was.
*BOOM* A lighting strike.
I jump, "WAKE UP!" I yell,
I shake Thomas awake.
"We gotta go! There's a storm rolling in."
Everyone else awakes from my yelling, Thomas realizes it's not just a little rain either, "Yeah, she's right everyone grab your things!"
Everyone starts running, but not me, time seemed to freeze, in my head only. A flash of imagery, almost like a video, played in front of my eyes.
Another vision.
Only sooner to come. Someone was going to get struck by lighting tonight, but who?
I seen them go down but I couldn't make out who, it was too dark.

"Y/N?! COME ON!" Thomas runs back to pull me along,
I run along with him, as fast as my legs would carry me, "we can make it!" I huff. "We're almost there!"
*BOOM* The lighting sounds closer now. Strike after strike, not even just flashes in the sky, each strike touches the ground.
"HURRY!" I holler.
"RUN!" Teresa yells.
Now was no time for me to waste my breath, Teresa held Newt's hand, encouraging him to run, despite his limp.
"LET'S GO!" Minho screams,
"KEEP MOVING, COME ON!" Thomas encourages.
"WE'RE ALMOST THERE!" Frypan yells,
So close but so far, lighting strikes only a few feet away from me, causing me to almost fall to my knees but Thomas was quick to pull me to his side,
Everyone was okay. So close, so close.
My feet ached, but I couldn't stop now.
A strike hits a barrel, then another hits a car.
One curious boy lags behind, stopping to look,
Minho.
One moment he was behind us running. Then,
He wasn't.
I stop in my tracks, "MINHO!" I yell,
Immediately turning around, risking everything to help him. I put one of his arms over my shoulder,
Thomas is quick to come back aswell, helping me.
I wouldn't have been able to pull his body back myself.
Fry holds the door, "MOVE! COME ON, HURRY UP!" He yells,
The lighting strikes don't stop. One after another.
Finally, we made it inside.

Thank god Minho was still conscious, He just asked for a moment to catch his breath. Almost a miracle really, he was basically fine.
"What's that smell?" Teresa speaks more to herself than anyone else.
"Probably you." I joke.
Thomas hits my shoulder gently,
"Ouch." I laugh. "Sorry, sorry, forgot, she's still your sister." I speak the last part quieter.
Growls, snarls, animalistic noises from the dark,
We all shine our flashlights into the room,
CRANKS.
One lunges at me,
I scream and jump back, nearly into Thomas. He puts a hand on my shoulder.
The strange thing was. They were chained, they couldn't get us as long as we stayed out of their grasp.
As we looked around, they were everywhere. As we shined the lights, I became more anxious, my palms got sweaty and my head pounded. I felt like I could pass out right now.
We back up, into a circle as the cranks cry and screech, lunging, pulling the chains, trying to break free.

"I see you've met our guard dogs!" A female voice speaks, loud enough so we could hear her.
She turns on a light, opening another door, she walks a path through the cranks, they couldn't reach here,
Smart but still sick.
When she's only about seven feet away from us we back up,
"Stay back." Minho warns,
She doesn't listen, standing her ground.
"You guys look like shit, come with me."
We look at each other unsure if we could trust her.
"Or don't, I'm sure they'll enjoy your company."
