"Hmmm...."
"Ugh c'mon Adora, we don't have all day"
"Ok fine I want strawberry and cream filled!"
Glimmer sighed "also can I get 4 Strawberries and 2 cream filled"
"Yes that will be 10.54." The cashier said .
When Glimmer and Adora were waiting for the donuts, Catra called. Glimmer picked up her phone and answered
"Hel-"
"HI KITTEN!!"
"Uh- Hi princess. Can-"
"Do you know what we're doing today? Because it's boring sitting in that house all the time."
"Uh yes, but can I talk to Glimmer for a second?"
"Oh...ok!" Adora backed up
"Yes?"
"Mermista wants to throw a party for Adora."
"Um no."
"Why?"
"Because...mermista gets everyone drunk in a matter of seconds, and Adora's in crutches for god sake, one drink and it's over."
"Ugh, c'mon sparkles. I'll watch her."
"Mm sure"
Catra sighed "look I'll be with Adora the whole time. Plus it's time for Adora to see everyone else again, she hasn't seen anyone else yet."
"But we shouldn't do to much becuase she might freak out, you know how Adora is." Glimmer looked up to see where the blonde headed girl was at . She was at the counter trying to grab the donut box but failing miserably
"Oh god, hold on Catra"
Glimmer ran to the counter and picked up the box
"They called our names a while ago, did you not hear?" Adora asked
"No, why didn't you come and get me?"
She shrugged her shoulders
"Ok whatever just come on." They walked out the donut shop
"Ok hello?"
"I'm still here."
"Fine, we can do a little party for her."
"About time, ok I'll call Mermista, bye"
"B-"
Catra had already hung up
"Ok then"
Glimmer helped Adora in the car and got in herself.
It was silent until-
"Glimmer?"
"Hm"
"I saw Catra doing something weird yesterday"
Glimmer knew it was a bad idea to continue this conversation but she didn't care.
"What was she doing?"
"She said it was a thing called Masterbating"
Glimmers eyes widened
"Uh Adora....I don't think that's something you should tell me."
"But we're all friends."
"Yes, but that's like a secret only you know."
"Do you do it?"
"Um....wh-why don't you just eat your donuts." Glimmer laughed nervously
"Oh! I forgot we had them!"
Adora picked up a strawberry donut
"Wait....why does everyone keep passing my questions?" Adora pouted
"Adora. Some people just don't want to talk about it."
"Is Masterbating something you should be...what's the word.....um....a-ashamed? Yeah. Something ashamed of?"
"I mean no, but some people don't feel comfortable talking about it and you have to respect that."
"But why?"
"God you ask so many questions." Glimmer whispered
"What?"
"Nothing. It's just some people don't like it, they feel weird or upset talking about it because of various reasons, it could be something that triggers a bad memory or something, you never know. You just got to understand that."
"I didn't understand anything you said."
"Ok." Glimmers face was a mix of anger and sadness, she really didn't want Adora to ask-
"So what's your reason?"
Glimmer sighed, she remembered talking to Adora, Bow, and Catra about this before but never wanted to think about it or say anything about it again. "Um- it....makes me remember bad things that happened to me." Glimmer wiped her eyes and turned to Adora trying to smile.
"Your crying! I'm sorry! I didn't mean to make you cry.."
"No no! It's ok! You were just curious. I just don't really like thinking about it, But it's fine. Ok?"
"Ok."
The whole ride home was silent.
When they pulled up to the yard, they saw someone spraying Catra with water.
"Who is that? And why are they doing that to Catra!?" Adora asked clearly mad from the sight.
"Oh that's our friend Mermista. You haven't met her yet, c'mon!"
Glimmer helped Adora out the car and out of no where they both got sprayed with water.
"Hey! Now I'm wet!" Glimmer yelled
"Hehe that felt nice" Adora giggled
"Haha, this is fun. Anyways hey Adora I'm Mermista, I was like your favorite person out of everyone."
"Really?"
"No, she wasn't, I was your favorite person!" Catra showed up furious because of Mermista
"Glimmer I have head pain."
"Head pain? What?" Mermista laughed
"Yeah she says that, we try to correct her and say it's headaches but she doesn't listen." Glimmer shrugged her shoulders
"It just doesn't sound right."
"Well Glimmer you need to take her somewhere else cause we need to get 'ready'"
"Ready for what?"
"Oh nothing Adora, do you want to go to an aquarium?"
And it all hit Catra again. That's where she took Adora for their 3rd anniversary. She started to tear up remembering everything. All the anniversary's, all the Christmases, birthdays, Halloween's, school...all the memories they made with each other and...the accident.
Catra tried not to think about but it was hard not to. luckily Adora started talking.
"Don't know what that is but YES!" She let go of the crutches to throw her hands in the hair but everybody stood with their mouths dropped
"What?"
"YOU DID IT ADORA!!! YOUR STANDING!!!"
"Huh?" She looked down and to her surprise, Catra was right. "I AM STANDING!!!"
"Now try walking." Mermista asked
Adora tried stepping but didn't feel stable "I don't know....I don't want to fall."
"Hey." The feline put her hand on Adora's shoulder
"I'm going to be right here."
Adora turned bright red and looked away "o-ok."
Adora picked up her foot and stepped but collapsed onto Catra
"Ugh why did this have to happen to me.."
"It's ok. You were close. Your almost there, we just need some more practice, ok?" Catra said while lifting her back up
"Ok" Adora stared into Catra's eyes and felt weird. She felt like she knew something but it was blurry. She felt like they we're more than friends.
"Ugh get a room" mermista groaned
Everyone laughed except Catra
"Ok well Glimmer take Adora to the aquarium now, I'm pretty sure she's excited." She spoke
"Oh alright, you guys get 'ready'"
"Seriously, why are they getting ready?"
"Just c'mon Adora, we'll be back soon guys!"
Catra and Mermista waved them goodbye and they drove off.
Can't wait for this party.
HELLO! Long time no see. Had to give you guys and update so here you go! I have started school again but I will not start adding a new chapter every once a month, just no.
