It's that time of the week!! Here's the next part of the story for yaa, I hope you like it cause the situation is getting..... worse 🙃

In Osamu's room
Nurse: *knocks* Sir... Miya Osamu?
Osamu: Yes??
Nurse: *troubled*
Suna: Is there's something wrong?
Nurse: I have a news... It's a private one... *looks at Suna nervously*

Osamu: It's okay, Suna is family, anything you need to tell me you can tell him as well...
Nurse: *nods* Your mom... She's in a critical condition...
Osamu: ??? *puzzled expression*
Osamu: But... But we were just there! What happened?!?!
Nurse: A heart complication, for someone with a history of heart problems like her, this could be fatal...

In the ICU
Doctor and nurses are surrounding her.
Tubes and cables more than Osamu could count are attached to her body.
Her heartbeat displayed on a screen of a beeping machine at her side.
With each second, the numbers on the screen keep dropping and the beeping sounds keep getting slower and slower.
Osamu: Mom!!! *still can't believe it*
Osamu: *breathing heavily*
Osamu: *looks at his dad on his side*
Osamu: What happened?!?!
The Dad: I don't know... *his voice clouded with worry* She was just resting and she started convulsing out of nowhere...
Osamu: *looks back at his mom with a very concerned face*
She was just fine not long ago.
It hasn't even been an hour since they talked about how she was going to stay in town a little longer to attend Osamu and Suna's next volleyball championship since it's their last one in highschool.
But now she's laying there, unconscious... as if that conversation never happened.
Osamu: *voice breaking* Mom...
Suna tried his best to hug Osamu while calming him down.
After a couple of minutes...
Suna: Sshhh sshhh... It's gonna be okay... It's gonna be okay... *hands shaking* She's gonna be-
BEEEEPPPPPP
A loud sound coming from the machine.
The screen showing a flat line.
Osamu doesn't need a doctor degree to know what it means.
Osamu: No.... No!!! MOMMMM!!!!!!
It takes almost all of Suna's power to hold Osamu from approaching his mom while the doctors are trying to revive her.
Jolts and jolts of electric were ran through her body, but they don't seem to do anything.

Some minutes ago
Atsumu: . . . *still sitting behind the door*
Nurse: *knocks* Sir... Miya Atsumu?
After what happened with him and Sakusa, he wishes that the world would shut up for awhile and let him be.
Can he just grieve for his relationship for a moment?
All he asks is just some time to be sad and moody like other teenagers who just break up with their lovers.
Atsumu: Can you just... come back in 10 more minutes?? I really don't want to see anyone right now...
Nurse: It's your mom, she's in a critical condition...
Atsumu: *eyes widen*
Atsumu: *opens door immediately* Take me to her right now!!!
The road from Atsumu's VIP room to the ICU was quite far.
After arriving at the outside of the room . . .
Atsumu: *suddenly stops*
Nurse: She's in that room...
Atsumu: *nods* I know... I'll just be here . . .
Nurse: Okay . . .
Atsumu: Thanks...
Nurse: *leaves the scene*
Atsumu: *peaks through the window*
Atsumu: Mom . . . .

Not long after that, a loud beep comes out of the machine.
Atsumu: <No... No, it can't be!!!> *puts his hand on the glass* <MOM!!!!!!>
Suddenly one of the nurses approaches Osamu, Suna, and the dad.
Atsumu can't hear what she said but he can tell that the nurse basically tells them that now is a good time to pray.

30 minutes later
The screen still shows a flat line.
Beads of sweat fill the foreheads of the doctor and nurses as they've tried everything to revive the patient on the bed.
After jolting electricity one more time to her lifeless body, the hectic room suddenly turns calm.
Worried faces turn into sorrow, and everybody puts down their tools.
Doctor: Time of death 7.34 pm . . .

From the outside, Atsumu can see the doctor approaching the group.
After saying a couple of words, he then bows in front of them as low as possible.
Osamu shakes his head and tries to say a couple of words to the doctor, but he just stays there, keeps bowing and not moving a single muscle.
Not accepting his reaction, Osamu runs to his mother's side and shakes her body.
After not getting a response, the grey-haired boy buries his face on his mother's shoulder.
A tight knot forms in Atsumu's stomach.
Atsumu: <No . . . This can't be...>
Atsumu: *enters the room* MOM!!!!!
The Dad: *suddenly changes his face from grief to anger*
The Dad: YOU SLUT!!! What are you doing here?!?! *blocks Atsumu's view of his mom*
Atsumu: Get away!!! I'm not here for you, I wanna see my mom!!! *tries to push him away*
The Dad: *pushes him back* She's not your mom anymore!!! The second you stop being my son, you're no longer a part of this family!!!
Atsumu: No, you're the one who doesn't deserve to be my dad!!! You're the one who doesn't deserve to be her husband!!! Where were you when they held her?!?! You weren't even there!!!! You never cared about us!!! All you care about is your company and your good face and your money!!!!!
The Dad: And who do you think you are?!?! Who caused all of this in the first place?!?! Do you think you deserve to be her son after whoring your body around?!?! If you took care of yourself just a little bit better, she wouldn't have to come and sort your problems everytime!!! All you could do is cause problems!!! You're a curse to this family!!! If you've never been born, she would've never died!!! *pushes Atsumu until he falls to his feet*
Atsumu: The fuck did you just say to me!?!?!?! *immediately gets up and punches him in the face*
Nurses: *comes and hold both of them back* Sir, please come down... This is a hospital, you can't fight here...!!!
The Dad: Get off me!!!! I need to teach that slut a lesson!!!!
Atsumu: Come at me, you old bastard!!!! I'm not afraid of you!!!!!
The Dad: You bitch-!!!!
Nurses: *pulls both of them* Sir, pleaseee!!!
Atsumu: *looks at Osamu who's now crying at Suna's shoulder*
Suna: *looks back at Atsumu*
Atsumu: *anger still very apparent on his face*
Suna: *concern* Just go back to your room, I'll come there later . . .
Atsumu: . . . *bolts out of the ICU*
Suna: *holds Osamu tighter* Sshhh... I'm here . . . I'm here . . .

Meanwhile on the other side of the hospital . . .
Sakusa's dad: If you really love each other, you'll find a way...
Sakusa's dad: He won't be able to hate you forever . . .
Sakusa: . . . What if he doesn't really love me?
Sakusa's dad: Do you really believe that in your heart?
Sakusa: . . .
Sakusa's dad: What does it tell you?
Sakusa: . . . *lowers his head*

Sakusa: But what if I already ruined it?? I hurt him, dad... over and over... What if I'm not good enough for him?
Sakusa's dad: No one's perfect, Kiyoomi... If you truly love him, you try everything you could to be that person... You fight for him, even if it hurts... Even if you have to make a huge sacrifice...
Sakusa's dad: Cause if you don't fight for the one you love... What else do you live for?
Sakusa: . . .

Osamu: *already calms down a bit*
Suna: *whispers* Hey... Let's check on Atsumu for a while. . . How about it?
Osamu: *nods*

In front of Atsumu's room
Suna: *knocks door* ...Tsumu?
No answer.
Osamu: . . . You sure this is his room?
Suna: Yeah, that's what the nurse said...
Suna: *knocks again* It's Samu and Suna... If you don't answer, we'll just enter the room...
Still no answer.
Suna: *opens door*
The room is empty.
Osamu: *gets off Suna who's holding him up* *enters the room* The window . . . Why is it open?
Suna: *walks a couple of steps farther inside*

Suna: *notices something on the ground on the other side of the bed* *picks it up*
Osamu: What is it?
Suna: . . . *shows a polkadot hospital gown to Osamu*
Osamu: *eyes widen* !!!
Osamu: *quickly walks and puts his head out of the window* Tsumu???

Osamu: *looks at Suna* Can you check below the bushes outside?
Suna: *jumps out of the window*

Suna: He's not here... *lifting the bushes* I can't find him anywhere . . !
Then it hits him...
Osamu: Oh God, not again . . .

After failing to find Atsumu below the bushes, Suna reentered the room.
Suna: We need to notify the nurses!
Osamu: Yeah...
Not long after they notify the nurses, the news also got to the police and there is another city-hunt for the missing blonde setter.

Some minutes later, both of them are sitting on Atsumu's bed
Suna: *looking gloomy*
Suna: . . . I shouldn't have told him to go back to his room...
Osamu: It's not your fault... All of us were pretty shaken up...
Suna: *looks at Osamu who's still in sorrow after losing his mother and now has to deal with his brother's missing* I'm sorry... *holds Osamu's hand*
Osamu: *puts his other hand on top of Suna's hand like a sandwich*

Osamu: *whispers* I don't know what I'd do without you . . .

Osamu: Maybe I'd wanna disappear too . . .
Suna: *caught a little off-guard with what Osamu said* *then his expression turns into sadder*
Suna: *holds Osamu's hand tighter*
Osamu: . . . I just can't imagine how he feels right now . . .

Osamu: I mean I have you, but I'm barely holding it together . . .
Suna: . . .
Osamu: He's not even with Sakusa anymore, and now he's out there . . . alone
Osamu: I mean last time I found him, he was soaked with blood and he was just gotten- . . .
Osamu doesn't have the heart to finish that sentence.
Suna: *lowers his head* I know... I'm worried about him too...

Osamu: Who knows what might happen to him... He can be so stupid sometimes...
Suna: That I agree . . .

Osamu: What if he never comes back?

Osamu: I can't lose him too. . . Rintarō
Suna notices that Osamu's trying hard to hold his voice from shaking.
Suna: He'll come back... For sure... Don't worry...
Suna: He can't be far anyway... With that condition... I'm sure the police will find him soon...
Osamu: I don't know... They did a pretty crappy job last time...
Suna: *sighs* You're right

Osamu: Should we ask Sakusa?
Suna: *gives Osamu the side-eye*
Osamu: Someone's gotta tell him anyway...
Suna: *lowers his head and averts his face*
Osamu: C'mon... Don't tell me you're still jealous at him?
Suna: I just don't really like him...
Osamu: Well, he's our best shot at finding Tsumu... If there's anyone who knows him better than us, it's him...
Suna: . . . *still making an uncomfortable expression*
Osamu: . . . *keeps looking at Suna*
Osamu: *frowns a bit* Now that I think about it... Isn't Tsumu supposed to be in the institution?
Suna: The nurses said that he went to the police station after we were all knocked out. Only Sakusa knew what really happened...
Osamu: I guess we should really ask him . . .

In front of Sakusa's room
Osamu: *knocks* Sakusa...?

Osamu: It's Osamu and Suna... Can we come in??
No answer.
Osamu: *knocks again* Sakusa?
Door opens.
Sakusa's dad gets out of it.
Osamu: *surprised* Mr. Sakusa??
Sakusa's dad: I'll give you guys some time to talk . . . *leaves*
Osamu and Suna: *gets in*
Sakusa: What is it...?
