Ava's pov
I woke up and found my sides empty, of course he's never there when I wake up because he leaves early and I don't wake up early.
I got down and was in time to see Michalina setting my food on the table.
"Morning dear Luna."
"That's it, don't you think it's too early to tease me."
"No, as a matter of fact the only thing left is your crowning ceremony which our alpha is planning earnestly, shit did I just split a secret." She covered her mouth and I smirked.
"Bet you said it purposely. But are you sure he's planning a party."
"You don't know?"
I nodded and she walked and sat beside me on the bed.
"Then I didn't say anything to you. It's like a wedding party in your world, that is you become officially our Luna and rule along side him."
"That's too much, I didn't ask for any of this."
"It's a responsibility you can never run away from." She was smiling and touched the mark Loren left, it sent electric through my spine.
"Not after wearing this. You bear his mark and his scent now, you are officially our Luna but we just have to throw a little bit party."
"Okay. Thanks for your little secret but I'll wait till he tell me."
I got up and headed to the bathroom.
"Thanks for the food."
"You should be, it's a special order from the alpha that I should give you two serving for each, you lost a lot of weight so I gave you three."
I came out of the bathroom and glared at her. "You said you gave me two times my normal serving."
"Don't look at me that way, it was an order, I can't disobey my alpha right."
"Yes you can't."
I went back to freshen up and afterwards put on one of Loren's shirt, the memory of what happened the last time flashed through my mind and I blushed.
"Wow! You're beautiful when you blush."
"I didn't know you were still here."
"I have to make sure you eat."
I opened my food and the sweet aroma of bacon wafted into my nose. There was bread and jam with a bottle of milk, there was even potato chips and cheese. How was I supposed to eat all this.
"This is too much."
"You've got to eat that's all I know."
She laid on the unmade bed and spread herself.
"It's softer than mine, that's why you sleep for such long hours. No it's because you have no responsibility yet."
"Have you had breakfast yet."
"No." She said casually while staring at the ceiling.
"You can join me, it's boring to eat alone and this is big anyway."
It took her time to answer. "That's a bad idea, I'll be gone if the alpha walks in on us."
"Come on, it's a command I'm your Luna."
"No. I haven't done that before and the alpha when angry can snap a person's head."
"But he doesn't show me that side of him."
"Probably because he loves you."
"Then that means I can control him. Come eat with me."
She hesitated but finally got up and joined me on the table. We had breakfast while talking about random things and I found out nothing was left after we finished. We both laid back on the cushion too lazy to get up.
"I didn't know you can eat this much." I said to her.
She chuckled and rubbed her stomach. "I eat more than this. I mean I have to if I should be able to cook for everybody that steps into this house."
She passed me my drugs. "Don't forget to take them or both of us will be dead if anything happens to you, I mean I'll die after you die."
I collected them and got a glass, poured water and swallowed my pill. "Don't need to exaggerate his actions."
We both became silent and I was thinking how much responsibility I can be able to handle.
"You know growing up I never thought I could end up this way. I just thought about a perfect life with a man who will love me and I'll love him too. That part is fulfilled but I never thought about me ending in a Werewolf kingdom and Luna I didn't even know what it was."
"We all have fantasies. Most come true but some don't. Me I never thought I could stay now without a mate. I mean all my age mates found theirs, I'm the only one without one."
I inhaled deeply while we sank into silence again.
"Why don't you want to tell Hugo, about your crush on him."
"Because it's awkward. After his mate died he shut down everyone and focused on this pack alone. I've given him a lot of signals, a lot but it end up crashing my heart and feelings, besides when my mate shows up it'll be hard to make a decision."
I feel sorry for her dilemma and don't even know how to help so I decided to change the topic.
"How will you react if there was a little werewolf running round the house."
"Ava are you saying you're pregnant."
She looks excited, guess she doesn't know I lost my first.
"No, I'm just saying though we are planning to have a baby."
She clapped her hands together suddenly having the strength to bounce to her feet.
"That'll be awesome. I mean a little baby girl running round and definitely coming to keep me company."
"Why are you all obsessed with a baby girl, I want a boy."
She sat down back and came really close to me. "Boys are always serious and you'll get bored with him, a girl will lighten up your life."
"But I still prefer a boy to be my first."
She did a tsk tsk with her mouth while shaking her head in sequence.
"Just focus on making the baby with him, I need a young lad here, God how I'm so gonna spoil her with goodies."
I smiled as she danced round the room, that was when I decided to help her win Hugo, she deserves it, she need to be happy always, just like now.
I like Michalina, she hasn't given me a feeling not to since after being suspicious of her and Loren.
"Hey, what are you thinking."
I looked at her and noticed I may have been lost in thought about how to bring them together.
"Nothing." I stood up and packed the dishes.
"No no no, I'm the one to do this Luna."
"Stop that." I didn't let her do everything herself, we did it together and even washed the dishes.
"Do you like the alpha." She asked surprisingly and many minutes later I still couldn't figure out her sudden question, not that I don't know what to answer of course I can answer even while sleeping.
"Why'd you ask."
"You went through hell past weeks, I mean one he put you through. So do you still like him after that."
"I can admit he did put me through hell, I mean he's stupid and would have just told me his plans then I would have quietly sit at home till he decides to call me but Lina no matter what we went through I still love your alpha, he's the best."
She came closer that there wasn't almost enough space between us.
"He's the best I agree but not the nicest." She began in a whisper.
"He's hot tempered and doesn't look back when he wants to be wicked. No one can dare disrespect him because you'll be gone even before you finish talking, he just changed when you got here and I haven't seen him snap on you, it's always others that get the blame of your actions."
"Wow! I didn't know people get the blame of my actions."
"I'm just saying please don't leave again, you're saving all of us here from his anger. Hey, did you know for two weeks I was always on edge, his anger returned."
"I get what you're trying to say. I won't leave again."
She hugged me and it was a huge surprise to me.
"Thank you."
She moved back to the sink to clean up the waters splashed around it.
"Do you know your friend is Sayers mate."
"Which of them." I decided to play dumb and not know anything about it.
"She has almond eyes and blonde. She's really beautiful."
"Isabelle?" I asked looking closely at her.
"Oh so it's her name."
"I know and I'm working to bring them together."
"So you know, why did you pretend that you didn't know."
"Because I didn't until recently. They'll be coming over tomorrow just make sure you prepare some extra dishes."
"Right."

The next day my friends arrived earlier than I thought. They all hopped down from Isabelle's blue SUV and came to hug me.
"I didn't expect to receive you guys this early."
"Babe it's already 11 don't tell me you're just waking up."
Isabelle asked while pressing the button to lock her car.
"No, how's that even possible. Let's go in, I didn't have breakfast yet."
"Very unbelievable." Sofia said.
"Who could believe you haven't eaten since morning, do you want to kill yourself."
"No but I want to eat with my friends."
We walked inside and Michalina was just about done with setting the table.
"Hi I'm Michalina, guess you've all met me before when you were throwing kicks my way."
"Oh that day." They all exclaimed in unison before bowing down to her.
"We apologise sincerely."
I laughed at their actions and ushered them to the table.
"Excuse me but please let me call Loren from his office."
"No, Ava did you know he made us leave, those were his business we went to handle." Maria said bitterly.
"I know and I apologise on his behave, he just wanted some time with me and did something so selfish."
"I knew right from time but I couldn't tell you girls I figured he wanted to make things right with our friend and we don't need to stand in the way of their happiness." Isabelle said looking at me directly in the eye.
"Wow how nice. I noticed how much he wanted to be around her, babe you got yourself some real nice dude." Sofia said while picking a cheese to munch on.
"Why didn't I notice this much." Maria asked while frowning.
"Come on girls lemme go call him while we go take a tour round this kingdom."
I stopped someone else from answering Maria because I know if they did it won't definitely pass 'because you're blind.'
"We won't wait." Isabelle said to me as I was leaving.
"You don't need to the food was prepared for you girls."
I walked down briskly to his office and met it slightly open.
I knocked before pushing it open and met him fully immersed in his book.
"Hi."
He looked up and I couldn't take mine away from him, he's so handsome.
"Hi pretty."
I walked around his table and sat down on his lap already prepared for me.
"You smell good." He sniffed me before kissing my neck.
"Cut the crap please, I may not be able to stand this if you start."
He chuckled and rested his head on my shoulder. "Why did you come? Miss me?"
"No." I could see the hurt in his eyes but the way he frowned made me laugh.
"My friends are here that's why I came to call you."
He frowned deeper and I know what he was worried about.
"Nothing like before will happen again."
"Okay" he kissed my lips but it didn't last as he made me stand up and packed his books and files before standing up to go with me.
"Let's go meet your friends."
He lifted me up before I knew it and began to walk out of his office.
"Put me down please, it's embarrassing if my friends sees me this way."
"What's embarrassing, me or this position."
"Not you definitely but the way you're carrying me."
"Oh really."
But he wasn't putting me down.
"Come on."
"I will do just that." He put me down but I realized that my friends saw us because I was lowered just beside the table.
"Don't look at me that way, he's the one naughty." I said to my friends and sat down while they just laughed.
"Hi man." Isabelle said first and resumed eating.
The other two said a low hello and continued to eat. He sat beside me and greeted them wholeheartedly before dishing my food and his and with the little portion I knew he wasn't actually hungry but was just doing this for me.
Today's menu is Michalina's special as she called it. Vegetables mixed with cream and beef fried and cooked with a special wine I don't know the name because she wouldn't tell me saying it's the kitchen little secret. Cheese and crackers as desserts.
We ate in silent only once did Loren break the silence by asking me if I enjoy it.
He tried for my friends to like him again and when they began to talk more freely with him he gave an excuse to leave so I can have my time with my friends.
I walked back with him to the office to seek permission to leave the house, he didn't know yet what I'm planning.
"Is there anything you want to tell me." He asked when I closed his doors after we entered, maybe he was expecting me to leave.
"Help me call Sayers I'm going to take me friends on a tour and I need Sayers there."
He frowned and looked at me. "Why."
"Easy mate, his mate is there and I want to help them, trust me."
"I trust you just that I thought you trust Sayers more than me."
"I'm not a fool."
"I didn't say you are."
He picked his phone and called Sayers putting it on speakers. I could hear some noises and female voices while his going in a high pitch.
"I'm busy man."
"Get your ass down here." I said before Loren could talk.
"Oh babe don't be so fiesta. I need to chill a bit."
"Okay, guess I'll just tell your mate to leave."
"No no no no, don't you dare, I'll be there in a minute."
I smiled as he disconnected and looked at Loren. "Cool huh?"
"No." He returned to his table and refused to look at me.
I walked to his table but not around to get close to him.
"I will need something else."
"What?"
"Money."
He searched his drawer and brought out a black card. "Unlimited. Buy as much as you want."
I didn't know he was this rich. I simply took the card turned and left, this is not the time to bother about him.
I met my friends already standing ready to leave. "Did you plan to keep us here while you make out with him?" Maria asked with sarcasm in her voice.
"Cut that Maria. I'm waiting for our tour guide. I haven't been around here much and I might get lost"
"Oh." It didn't take long before Sayers walked through the door panting while naturally looking at Isabelle.
"Hope I'm not late. Oh hi girls."
"Hello." They all chorused but Isabelle was looking at him longer, yes that pull, I remember how I felt mine.
"Let's go."
I looked back and saw Lina cleaning the kitchen.
"Hey babe you can join us too."
She looked at me and smiled and I know she was about to reject me nicely.
"I've told your alpha so it's definitely fine if you leave with us."
She looked happy and quickly rinsed off her hands, cleaned herself and came with us. I was planning to treat her well today....
