Elouise
"Ellie!" I hear my older brother yell
"What Manolo!" I scream back
"Jesus" he says walking into my room, " you are definitely not the same sister I had 10 years ago? What happened to little Ellie, huh? The ones who's brothers had to tell to speak up? What happened to her?" He asks in a mocking tone.
It's true, I was a very quiet child until around the age of 8, that's when I started to get bullied by other girls for not talking in school, so, I made changes
"She grew the f*ck up" I say back to him
"For a girl who is knitting, you sure are feisty"
"Whatever" I say back, rolling my eyes "what do you want Manolo?"
"Mom and dad told Nicolas to tell you to start getting ready for the ball"
"Then why are you in here bothering me and not that other annoying devil?"
"You know Nico, he got side tracked by the maids, so he told Oliver, who told Roman, who told Gio, who told me, to tell you"
"Huh, what a long line that took"
"Sure did, anyways, just be ready by 6, okay?"
"Okay, now get out" I say shooing him
"Alright alright, I just have one question"
"Shoot"
"Can I eat that?" He says point to the half eaten crape on my desk from lunch
"No! Now get out!"
And with that he finally leaves
6pm rolls around and I am down stairs on time, but guess who isn't? My brothers, they all agreed to meet at our parents house, in which I still live, but the rest of them don't, but still come to often.
"Why don't you look beautiful Elouise" my mom says coming up to me
"Thank you mama, you and papa look good too"
"Thank you sweet pea, don't you think that dress is a bit too, you know..." my dad says
" I look fine papa" I say
After a good 15 minutes, all my brothers come, only Enzo, Theigo, and Oliver are married, but agreed to not bring their wives to this specific event because of all the enemies around.
Roman is also married, well, kinda. See, only I know he is married, he and Zoe- Silas and Maggie's daughter- got married about a year ago, but didn't tell anyone because of the fallout between papa and Silas. So the two just keep their marriage a secret in order to not cause drama, but it is bound to come out, I can tell my mama is suspicious.
"Finally" mama says "it's about time you boys arrived, it's time for a picture"
"No mama-" Oliver starts
"Don't" she says holding up a finger, "I want a photo of all my kids, and I will dam sure get one, everyone, look presentable"
"I always look good mama, what on earth are you talking about" I say with a smirk
She just gives me a playful hot on the chest and send me my way so I can get into position
"Very nice" mama says while taking the photos on her phone "you boys look so handsome, and Ellie, you look beautiful darling"

Once at the ball, all eyes are on me. Not only am I finally legal to get married, but I am also - oddly- the only girl born into a mafia family for the past decade, all the other girls are only 7 or 8, making them ignored in the eyes of greedy mafia fathers and business men.
"Would you look at that" I hear from behind
me
I instantly know who it is, "Dominic" I say calmly turning to him "What a pleasure to see you"
"You too baby" he says leaning onto the wall
"Don't call me that"
"Why not doll?" He says smirking
"You lost that privilege the day you cheated on me, so Dom, get out of my way or I will make a scene"
"Whatever you say sweet heart, just remember, you are still mine, and all the men here know it" he whispers into my ear and lightly kisses it.
I smack his face away, not hard enough to hurt or draw attention, but enough you get him to stop- and apparently smirk and chuckle- b*tch

In all my 50 years of life I have never experienced a greater joy then my family.
Here I am, dancing with my wife in a mob of people, yet, the only thing I see is her. My beautiful, smart, kind- hold the f*ck up.
I stop dancing
"What's wrong Ace?" May asks
"Who is that with Elouise?" I say
May turns back to look at our daughter, "that's Dominic Espa"
"How do you know him?"
"His mother is married to David Espa, the leader of the Russian Mafia, his mother and I are in the same book club"
"Huh" is all I say before I continue dancing while eagle eying the two

Thank god Ace believe me when I said that I knew Dominic because of his mother and not because he use to date Ellie. Ace would have lost it if he knew about their past relationship.
You see, when Elouise and Dominic were 16 they started to date, they had gotten to know each other through mutual friends and well... after a while, they grew feelings for each other.
Well, Elouise did. Apparently Dominic didn't believe in relationships and had been cheating on her throughout their 1 1/2 year relationship with multiple women.
Once Ellie found out, she was devastated, but due to her feeling she chose to look past it and keep trying in their relationship before Dominic called it quits. He called it quits!
But Ellie tells me- since I was the only one who knew of their relationship- that Dominic won't leave her alone when it comes to other men, she says it's annoying how nobody will date her because apparently Dom had threatened everyone.
What a rude boy.
After the ball is over, everyone goes home, well, all they boys go home, Elouise heads back with us.
Once home I strip off my dress and get freshened up for bed, a long warm shower was just what I needed after tonight's ball
Slowly I get into bed, already knowing that Ace is gonna "slyly" bombard me with questions about Dominic and Ellie
"So, are you sure he's not a terrible boy" is the first thing he asks
"I don't even know him Ace, I just know his mother"
"Hm" is all he says
"Well" I say quickly "good night Ace, I love you" and give him a kiss
"Good... good night love" he says, and kisses me back

After a nice long shower I'm finally into bed, but I can't fall asleep.
The only thing on my mind is Dominic
Dominic this and Dominic that
Terrible.
As if on cue my phone lit up, so I turned to check it
Blocked Number it read, I continued to look at the message anyways
'I miss you' it read
'Who is this?' I text back
'I think you know baby'
'No I don't?"
'Well, either way, I just wanted to say, I love you, and just because I messed up once doesn't mean that we are over. I love you Ellie, and I will show you how much I mean it'
Right as I was about to text back I heard a mock on my window.
Who could that be? I slowly get up to look- I see nobody.
Right before I open the door I run over across the room to grab the gun that's in my dresser- just in case, you know?
I make my way over to my window again and open it slowly, but I see nothing, right before I close it I desire to look down. As fair enough, there is a Bouquet of flowers.
I quickly grab them and close the window- tight
I walk over to my bed and examine the flowers more thoroughly, it's a beautiful set. Full of daisies and white roses, along with small dangly vines.
On the bottom there is light pink ribbon holding it all together a long with a note
'To my love, forever and always.
I can not wait to see your beautiful face again my star.
