Yena's POV
***PRESENT TIME ***
A waiter approached us and placed our order on our table.
I replied in Eunbi unnie.
To: Kwon Eunbi
The food is already here. Come out now or you'll be hungry later.
Read 2:20PM
I smirked when I saw that she already read my message.
"Hitomi," Hitomi looked at me.
"Yes, unnie?"
I heard a fake cough. I saw Eunbi unnie taking her seat. She looks at me like she wants to kill me.
"Nothing." I shake my head.
We all start to eat and only Chaeyeon and Sakura are talking.
"Yena unnie," Hitomi suddenly called my name.
"Hm?" I looked at her. I saw Eunbi unnie looking at her.
Just talk to her unnie tsk.
"Can you come with me later?" She asked.
"I'll just buy some bread before I go back to work." She added.
"Ah, sorry Tomi. I already have plans with Chaewon."
"Huh?" Chaewon looked at me surprised. I hold her hand and squeeze it a little so she can understand what I'm trying to do.
"Ah, yeah. We're going in... ahm.." Chaewon looked at me. Her eyes are saying 'help me'.
"On a date." I finished her sentence.
Eunbi unnie suddenly choked. Chaeyeon clears her throat. Chaewon slightly nudged me.
"Me, I can come with you." Sakura volunteered.
"Oh, thank you, Sakura unnie!" - Hitomi
Chaeyeon looked at me. I signaled her to stop Sakura.
"Kura! We have a date after this, don't you remember?" - Chaeyeon
"Eh? We have?" - Sakura
Chaeyeon nodded as an answer.
"I didn't know." Sakura looked at Hitomi.
"Sorry, Hitomi. I forgot that I already have a plan with Chaeyeon."
Hitomi smiled timidly.
"It's okay unnie. I can buy on my o--"
"I'll come with you so don't worry." We all looked at Eunbi unnie when she speaked.
"Huh?" Hitomi looked at Eunbi unnie surprised. Eunbi unnie looked at her and their eyes met.
That's good! Looks like my plan is working.
"I said I'll come with you so don't worry." She repeats, then she looks away and continues to eat.
We all remained silent. Hitomi is still looking at Eunbi unnie. I don't know what she was thinking but she looked stunned. Chaewon clears her throat and I think Hitomi heard it because she changes her glance to Chaewon. Hitomi starts to eat again like nothing happened.
We all continued to eat silently after that. While eating silently, the waiter that served our food earlier approached us with a paper and pen in his hands.
"E-excuse me. Can I have your autograph Ms. Chaewon?" The guy said shyly.
One of our entertainment's staff and Chaewon's bodyguards came to us immediately. Eunbi unnie stopped them by signaling at them.
"Sure." Chaewon gets the pen and paper in the guy's hand.
"My daughter is a big fan of yours." The guy said.
"Really? What's her name?" Chaewon asked.
"Sang Hee!" The guy said happily.
The restaurant suddenly played music. When I heard the intro I realized that... It's mine!
"Oh, it looks like your owner is also a fan of duckie." Chaewon said.
"You know duckie?" The guy asked in surprise.
"Of course! Who will not know duckie? She is a good singer and composer." Chaewon turned her gaze to me.
"Did you know her in person?"
Chaewon smiled, still her gaze was on me.
"Well,"
"Why? Are you a fan of her?" I interfered in their conversation.
"Yes! I'd love to see her if I have a chance!" The guy said in excitement.
"But you know she is a mysterious girl." I said.
"Yeah, I know but I also know that everyone who sang her composed and produced songs has seen her already. There is a rumor that she is from KWON Entertainment."
This guy is driving me crazy right now! I'm not yet ready to reveal myself.
"Why don't you take a picture with us. There is a chance that duckie is here, with us." Chaeyeon said. I facepalmed.
She is giving him a clue! I'm not even wearing my mask and cap to remain anonymous! Yah, Lee Chaeyeon!
Chaeyeon called a staff member to take a picture. When the staff came, Chaeyeon stood up and whispered something to the staff.
I'm glad that someone appreciates me and my song but I can't let him know that it was me.
They all stood up and lined up. The guy gives his phone to the staff. The guy is beside Chaewon.
I stand up and clears my throat.
"Let me be the one who will take a pic----"
"No, you will join us." Chaewon grabbed my hand and pulled me. The guy is now in the middle of me and Chaewon.
"1,2,3." We all heard a 'click' from this guy's phone.
"Another one." Chaeyeon said. She, Eunbi unnie, Hitomi and Sakura left us and went back to our table. I was about to leave when Chaewon grabbed my hand again and held it tightly.
"Is it okay if she is with us?" Chaewon asked the guy. The guy nodded. I sighed and left with no choice but to take a picture with them.
Kim Chaewon, what are you doing?! I'll kill you if he knows who I was! I'm not wearing my cap and mask! Chaeyeon also gave him a clue!
"Thank you! Thank you very much!" The guy bowed to us when the staff gave his phone back.
Chaewon also gave his paper and pen back.
The guy left as soon as he received his phone and Chaewon's autograph.
"I'm glad he didn't ask who you are." Chaewon said before letting go of my hand. Chaewon is about to go back to our table but I grab her hand.
Payback time!
"We have a date, remember?" I looked at Chaewon with a teasing smile.
"Oh, Kura we have to go too." Chaeyeon stood up.
"Unnie, we gotta go. Bye!" Chaeyeon grabbed Sakura's hand and pulled her out of the restaurant.
"Bye Hitomi!" Sakura waves her hand while Chaeyeon is pulling her.
"Bye Eunbi unnie! Bye Tomi!" I wave my hand at them.
"Let's go!" I looked at Chaewon and pulled her out of the restaurant.
When we got out of the restaurant, Chaewon's bodyguards followed us.
"Good for you, Eunbi unnie didn't kill you." Chaewon starts the conversation while we are walking together.
"She said later." I gave her my phone.
Chaewon knows my phone's lock since it's my crush's birthday.
"Your wallpaper is still the same, a dog." She said while tapping the message icon.
I gave her a death glare.
"She's not a dog. She's a cute little puppy!"
She made a disgusted face.
"Aish!" I was about to hit her when I remembered that she has bodyguards with her.
"You are lucky, your bodyguards are here. Psh." I barely looked at his bodyguards in our back then looked at her again.
Chaewon gave me back my phone.
"Well, you can have bodyguards too but first you need to---"
I cut her off.
"No, I don't need bodyguards."
I know what she's trying to say.
"I can knock down some bad guys with my own fist." I showed her my fist.
"Just admit it. You're just waiting for her." She looked at me.
"What?" I asked her when she looked me in the eyes.
"Yena, look!" She suddenly points something in my back. I furrow my eyebrows.
Not me, Kim Chaewon. You can't fool me.
"Look! It's Yuri!" When I heard that name. I didn't know but I turned around.
Everytime that I hear her name, I become a different person. I can't control myself.
"Where?" I asked while looking for Yuri. I felt a palm hit on my head.
Wtf?
"You dimwit!" She chuckles and runs away.
I was left dumbfounded.
Eh? What just happened?
"Did you really think that she was here?! She's still a trainee, old duck!" Chaewon shouts while running.
When I heard what she said, especially the old duck thing, reality hit me.
Oh, right! She's still a trainee! Why did I even forget about that?!
"Yah! Kim Chaewon!" I don't care if everyone will look at me. I run and chase Chaewon.
"I will really crush you, stinky radish!" I yelled while chasing her.
I'm in the middle of chasing Chaewon when I bumped into someone.
"I'm sorry." I bowed.
"I'm really sorry, I---" I was stunned when I saw who I bumped into.
"It's been a long time, Yena unnie." She smiled at me.
"Yu-yuri"
