Kara: Stupid super-hearing - Kara grumbles
Jeremiah: Kara, your friends are here!
Kara: What? Who's coming over here this early?
Kara opens the door and Zee walks into the room closely accompanied by you
Y/n: Hi there
Zee: Hello Kara dear, my pride and joy
Kara: Pride and huh?
Zee: This is Blackberry Hazel von Hausle III - she says as you raise the cage in your hand - and this is Dandelion Pipkin de Hyzenthlay - She raises hers
Kara: Mm'kay. So why are you guys here?
Zee: Uh, hello. We had a whole text conversation about it last night
She shows her cellphone while scrolling down the incredibly long text explaining things and Kara's reply: Whatev
Y/n: I wouldn't call it a conversation
Kara: Whatev
Zee: Please, Kara! You simply cannot flake on me now! This is my very first paid performance as a solo magician, and I need you and Y/n to care for my two little lovelies while I'm away
Kara: Can't you just take them with you? Aren't they, you know, part of your act or something? Or maybe leave them in Y/n's house?
Y/n: She thinks I'll distract myself and let them out
Zee: That's right, besides, these are magical rabbits, my dear, they might be a bit much for a children's birthday party. Now, where can I put them?
Kara: I don't know, put them over there - She gestures to the floor by her bed
Zee: On this floor? Ugh, hold Dandelion please
Y/n: Looks like my work room, just messier - you say as you grab Dandelion's cage and walk to Kara's side
Zee starts using her magic to clean Kara's room while explaining how to take care of the rabbits, being very specific about everything
Kara: How long will you be gone? – Kara stammers
Zee: Eh, no more than an hour – she turns a rock band poster into one of her
Y/n: She did that in my house too – you whisper to Kara
Zee: Now, as to the brushings, three strokes GENTLY to the left, then five strokes GENTLY to the right, understood?
Kara: Yeah, yeah, I got it
Y/n: Got it, three to the left then five to the right
Zee: Gently
Kara: We get it
Zee: Oh, okay. Oh, well, there is one more rule
Y/n: Ok, what is it?
Zee: Th-th-th-this is the most important rule of all. You're NOT, under any circumstances, to put these two together, do you understand?
Y/n: Don't worry, we won't put them together
Kara: Whatev
Zee: *squeal* Thank you Kara and Y/n! Mummy's gonna miss you lovelies. See you soon! Bye~ee!
The pair of bunnies squeak, and Zee leaves. After that you place the two cages on the floor, you fish your phone from your pocket and sit by their side
Kara: Who's the cutest little bunny-wunnies of all bunny-wunnies? It's you, isn't it? Yes, yes! Oh, are you the sweetest little magical bunnies? Are you? Are you the sweetest and magicaliest? I think so. Yes, I do!
You are shocked for a moment, you must admit you didn't expect her to like cute things, so you snap a picture
Though, the sound startles Kara and she quickly remembers that you're in the room
Y/n: Wow, and I thought I liked cute things too much
Kara: Give me that! – she tries wrestling you to get your phone
And actually gets it, as she is a lot stronger than you
Y/n: Aw, come on!
Kara: I don't know why you did that, but I'll delete it just in case – she deletes the picture and returns your phone
Y/n: Yeah that was stupid, I should've asked first
Kara: Is that really such a big deal?
Y/n: It was unexpected, and really nice to see actually, that's why I took a pic – you shrug – But that's past already, so let's just do what we're supposed to do
Kara: Take care of those cute fuzzy-wuzzy bunny-wunnies!
"Came here for the cute stuff, got more than the expected" You think to yourself
Kara: Now, what were your stupid names again? Ah, who cares? – she pauses for a moment, and comes up with new for the rabbits – You look like a Merlin, and you look like a Harry Houdini! Do you like those names? Yes, yes. Ah, you're so cute! Come here, Merlin
Kara grabs Blackberry and starts hugging him
Kara: Oh, Merlin's a squishy little wuv-bunny. Yes, he is! Yes, he is! Now you, Harry Houdini
She grabs Dandelion and starts rubbing her face on his belly
Kara: *chuckle* I'm drowning in cuteness! Now for a selfie for only us to see!
She takes a few selfies and returns the bunnies to their cages, and they start whining while trying to get to each other, Kara sees that and frowns in sadness for them
Kara: Aw! Zee said I should keep you two apart...
Y/n: And that's what we'll do
The bunnies whine more, and little tears form at the corner of their eyes
Kara: I bet she gives you lots of dumb little rules to follow, she gives me dumb little rules, too
Y/n: Probably with some reason
Kara opens the cages and the rabbits start happily running around her
Y/n: Great, you're not even listening to me
Kara: But we don't need those rules, do we? 'cause we're the cutest little magical bunnies ever. Rules are for suckers, aren't they?
She grabs them and starts hugging them even more
Kara: Yes, they are! Yes, they are *gasp* You know what would make this even better? Let's have a carrot party!
She puts the pair down, and goes for the door
Kara: And don't do anything too cute while I'm gone, all right? – she walks out
Y/n: Wait for me! – you start, but then turn to them bunnies and make an 'I see you' gesture – Don't do any potentially dangerous magic animal stuff while I'm away
You follow Kara, then come back a few minutes later with a bowl of sliced carrots
Kara: We got lucky, boys, we got the last ones *gasp* Harry Houdini!
The two bunnies were hugging each other with little bunnies in front of them
Kara: You're a mom! You are so cute! I can't take it! Oh, my God, oh, my God, oh, my God. I never knew I needed this in my life
Y/n: That was fast
She then pulls out her phone to take a selfie
Kara: Say "carrots!"
She takes another photo and suddenly there were more bunnies, confusing you and Kara
Y/n: ...really fast
Then someone knocks on the door
Jeremiah: Hey, Kara, I'm going to the farmer's market, need anything?
Kara: Carrots?
Jeremiah: You got it!
Kara: Okay, okay. Think, Kara – she says as she touches her fist on her forehead
Then she opens her fist, revealing that a bunny was in her hand, and even more around her
Kara: Ah! No, Kara, stop thinking!
She quickly puts the little bunnies in one cage
Kara: There *gasp*
She notices there was a pile of them behind her
Kara: How did I miss these?
She puts the little bunnies into the other cage
Kara: Gah! What is going on?
Y/n: I think figured it out, where are Blackberry and Dandelion?
Kara: Merlin and Harry Houdini! – she grabs her guitar and shovel the little bunnies into a basket
Kara: Phew, eek!
You look around, the couple of rabbits is nowhere to be seen, so you start to search deeper as Kara grabbed her blanket and put all of the bunnies in it, the blanket began to expand and then ripping
Kara: Uh-oh
Y/n: Uh-oh what-
The blanket burst and the little bunnies started to flow out seemingly endlessly, filling Kara's room
Kara: No, no, no, no, no, no!
The bunnies burst out of the window, Blackberry and Dandelion get out of their hiding spot and jump towards the window
Y/n: A-ha! There you are!
Kara: Stop right there!
The two bunnies wave and then jump out of the window and went inside the stream of little bunnies
Kara: Uh, this might be getting slightly out of hand
Y/n: You think so? – you tap the bulwark and your hero suit materializes – One thing I know is that they're going to do a lot of damage if we don't stop them
You and Kara fly ahead of the flood of bunnies, then Kara lands in front of the stream and tries to stop them
You and Kara: Halt!
As you expected, they don't stop, so you dart ahead
Y/n: Hey! Help me block the roads! – you shout, while clawing at a part of the bridge
Kara flies to help you, and catches the falling piece of the bridge after you cut it off, then places it down so it blocks the road to midtown
Kara: Sorry rabbits, this road's closed – she floats down and sits on the block – Whoa-a!
The bunnies stop at the block, but then flow to another direction
Kara: Ah, seriously?
Y/n: Sorry, but I didn't find anything to block that way
Kara: It's not your fault, ah! – she loses her balance and falls into the stream
She grabs your leg trying not to be swept away, but ends up pulling you down with her instead
You're swept all the way to the playground where Zee is doing her performance
Zee: Now, Tommy, let's see what's behind... your ear!
See pulls out a little bunny from behind Tommy's ear
Zee: Huh?
Tommy: That's not my quarter, that's a–
Girl: Bunnies!
The playground is flooded by tiny bunnies, then you and Kara emerge, along with an angry Zee
Y/n: Oh, Hello, Miss Zatara
Kara: So... how's it goin'?
Zee: I told you both to keep them apart!
Kara: We did, I totally did, for, like, at least ten minutes...
Zee narrows her eyes, not believing her
Kara: Five-
Y/n: About one minute and a half actually
Zee: Gah!
Kara: What was I supposed to do? They love each other!
Zee: Exactly! That's the problem
Y/n: How's that a problem exactly?
Zee: They'll overpopulate the Earth and this world will be a bunny planet!
Y/n: Can I ask where are those bunnies from? I think I might want to see-
Tommy: Oh, wow! What a great Superman and I-don't-know-who costume!
Kara: This is not a Superman costume!
Y/n: I'm Shadow Cat, have you never– Oh yeah, kids don't read news
Zee: Children, these are my lovely assistants, Supergirl and Shadow Cat! They're here to help with the next trick, which is to make all these rabbits disappear!
She puts a rabbit in her hat, and it disappears into puff of purple glittering smoke
Zee: See, all gone! Come on, lovely assistants, let's make the rest of these rabbits vanish!
You and Kara then start grabbing rabbits and throwing them into Zee's hat, then Kara pulls off a slide and uses to scoop more rabbits and dropping them in Zee's hat
Then Kara starts to fly in circles creating a tornado, Zee makes her hat bigger and the wind sends all of the bunnies into the hat
Zee: Ta-da! – She bows to the crowd, as do you and Kara
Children: Hurray!
Tommy: Superman's sister and Shadow Cat are the best!
Kara: Listen, kid, I—
Suddenly, a rumbling sound is heard
Kara: Maybe it's just the rest of the city applauding?
Y/n: I have my doubts
All of you turn and see a massive wave of rabbits with Blackberry and Dandelion on top of it, still hugging each other
Zee: Oh, no! They're still together!
Kara: And they still love each other
The wave crashes onto you and the children, pushing you through town
Kara: Ah! Drowning in cuteness!
Zee: I gave you both one rule!
Kara: No, no, you didn't! You gave us, like, 500 rules
Zee: And you broke the only one that mattered!
Kara: How was I supposed to know Harry Houdini was a girl?
Tommy: Whee! – The boy emerges from the stream in your arms
Y/n: Ah~ Fur-less oxygen! – You take a deep breath, pull your scarf up so it covers your face properly and then put Tommy down – Hey! Where's my bag?! – You dive in the rabbitsunami searching for your gadgets
Zee: Harry what? How dare you! Those rabbits are purebred magical creatures with carefully selected names! They are not to be mentioned in the same breath as Merlin and Harry Houdini!
Kara: My names are way better than yours!
Y/n: I think names shouldn't be our top priority right now – You fly out of the wave once again, this time with your bag
Zee: Okay then, it's already settled my names better anyways – She narrows her eyes at Kara, and Kara crosses her arms and looks away – Now, we have to stop those magical bunnies, and the best way to do that...
Zee dives, then resurfaces wearing her hero outfit
Zee: Is with magic itself. Since the cause of all this is the love between Blackberry Hazel von Hausle III and Dandelion Pipkin de Hyzenthlay–
Kara: Merlin and Harry Houdini
Y/n: How about Ron and Hermione? – You say rhetorically
Zee: –then I will simply have to cast a hate spell to drive them apart – Her eyes start to glow – leef ton stibbar evol kaeps I!
She fires a beam of magic at the bunnies, they stop, but just when you thought it was over, they start grouping together
Kara: Uh, what's going on?
Zee: I may have worded that spell wrong
Y/n: I'm calling it, they're going to form a giant monster
The white mass of rabbits starts gaining form, ultimately revealing itself as a giant bunny-monster
Y/n: I knew it! – you dart towards the monster's face, carrying a net – This net is long enough to tie that thing! It probably won't hold it for long but it will help us a little
You fly around the titan's arms and waist, tangling the large net along it's body, but when you try tightening the loop the bunnies pass right through it
Y/n: So it's still a million tiny bunnies–
You're cut off by the monster's giant hand trying to swat you away
Kara flies into action and tries punching the monster, but the little bunnies simply move out of her way
She tries again, and again, and again, but obviously gets the same result over and over
Kara: Come on! Let me punch you! Zee! what are you doing down there?!
Zee: I'm thinking what spell would work okay!
Y/n: I'll be right back! – You purposely fly inside the monster's mouth
Kara/Zee: Shadow Cat!
Kara flies after you
Zee: Supergirl!
[Inside the monster]
Kara: Y/n? Y/N!?
Y/n: I'm here! – You say, with one hand stuck in the beast's rib cage area
Kara: Are you okay? – She flies down to you
Y/n: Yeah, I just need some help to find Blackbe– Merlin and Harry Houdini
Kara: I bet you got a plan
Y/n: Yes, basically you just gotta punch your way through the chest area of this monster, if they're not there we'll try the nape
Kara: Punching through? I got it – she cracks her knuckles, grinning
[Outside]
Zee: This is not how I raised you! – Zee says as she beams magic at the monster
The monster roars, then stops, feeling something pin its chest, then you and Kara erupt from it, holding the troublesome couple
Zee: Supergirl! Shadow Cat! You're alive!
Y/n: Of course we are–
Zee: *gasp* Hurry up and separate them!
Kara: But- But they love each other!
Zee: Seriously?!
Y/n: It's for the greater good Kara
Kara turns to you, then nods, both of you pull Blackberry and Dandelion apart
The monster rabbit crumbles and disappears as you and Kara land on the ground
[Later at Kara's house]
Y/n: I'm telling you Zee, I got the rules in my phone already, you can go
Zee: I'm just saying so you won't let them out again, understand?
Y/n: But it was Kara who let them out in first place!
Kara: *hushed* Don't worry, Harry Houdini. I'd never keep you from your wittle wove Merlin forever, would I? No, I wouldn't. Rules can't stop true love!
You smile at Kara knowingly and she looks away
Indeed, much more cute than I expected

Y/n: You know, I just can't stop thinking about the way you were acting so cute earlier
Kara: I thought you said you didn't see it as a problem?
Y/n: And that's still right, I was just wondering if I could see your soft side more often
Kara: Are you asking to be my pet?
Y/n: Not exactly, but it could work too
Kara: *chuckle* We'll see about that~
*click*
