Emily's POV
Why did he kiss her? Why is he worried about me when he doesn't care for me at all?
"Emy are you hearing me?" Nova says
"Huh?"
"Never mind. Do you want to go to my home? My parents aren't there so we can stay alone." She says and I really want to go there, but will my parents let me? I have never done this before.
"I wish, but I don't know what my parents will say" I answer
"Call them now and we will talk together"
"I can't, otherwise I will cry"
"I'm here dummy" she comforts me and I am really lucky for having her at my life. At least she is there.
"Huh, c'mon call them"
"Okay..." I say and as I am calling my mom

"Hey mom! Can I stay at my friend's house tonight please?" I ask as soon as she opens the phone
"What? No!!! Who is she?" she says and why am I surprised yet? I knew this.
"Please! Just one night!" I beg
"Emily we have discussed that topic before"
After she said that I hear Nova faking the tears and the broken voice and I am literally finding this funny.
"What does she have?! Is she crying" my mom says. She believed it!
"Yeah!!"
"Emily please!!! How can they hate me???" Nova says and I am dying
"What does she have???" mom asks
"Hmm... my classmates didn't like her, you know she's like me" I lie to het
"Oh dear!! Stay with her then. I'm proud of you Emily"
I know this isn't fair, but how can we be fair in this fake world?
"Bye mom" I say

"How was I?" I ask Nova
"To be sincere you're the worst liar" she says and I laugh
"Eii!! That was my first time!" I say
"Your what??? Are you kidding me?"
"No." I answer
"Well, Daniel and..." she starts saying and I feel a knife torturing my heart
"I'm sorry" she apologies
"It's okay" I lie
During the walk none of us said a thing and I'm glad we didn't, because I would have cried on the road
When we arrive at her home, which look like a big castle I feel the familiar smell of wooden furniture.
It's perfect. Then we go to her room and she's staring at me right now, while we're eating chocolates
"What?" I say as she's looking at me with pity
"Do you love him?" she asks and my hearts drops
"Isn't it clear?" I answer
"Look I know you're hurt, but what if he has a reason for acting like this?"
"He kissed her Nova"
"And what?"
"Are you on my side or his side?"
"No, I'm just saying like Daniel isn't a liar"
"Well, for me and with me he is. You know what? When I saw him for the first time, I knew I'd fell in love with him... Little did I know that it would hurt me that bad. Like have you ever looked at someone's eyes and wished they became yours?" I say and I see Nova who's crying.
"I need to go to bathroom" she says and I just nod.
Daniel's POV
I text Nova as soon as they leave, but no reply. I know Nova and she will never leave her.
I go to my house and the first thought that comes to my mind is go to her room as I usually do.
The window is open, the light too.
"Emy..." shit is her brother. Where's Emily?
"Is anyone there?" he says
Oh God! I wish he hadn't seen me...
He turns off the light and I go inside the room...
She's not here. Where is she?
I was going to call Nova, but then I see my shirt on Emily's bed.
I take it and it smells like... her. I know it has been a short period of time, but I miss her...
Anyway, I call Nova, but she doesn't answer
"She's at my home! She needs you Dan" she sends a text message
"What? I came to her room and her brother could have seen me" I say
"LOL, you what?"
"Never mind. Is she seeing that you're texting with me? What can I do for her?"
"I'm at the bathroom. By the way tell her the truth" she says
"Nova I can't"
"She will lose herself before you find the way Dan..." she's right... I need to do something and I will protect her.
"I will come"
"That's my boy"
I am lucky now that Nova is here. She will really help me...
Emily's POV
"I'm back!" Nova says as she enters the room
"Welcome back" I say
"Well I think I should go again" she says and I don't understand what she's trying to say
"Huh?" is the only thing I managed to say.
As soon as the words leave my mouth I feel a touch, a familiar one touching my hair...
Is he?
I turned to see that I was right. Is Daniel. My eyes fill with tears.
I love him so much, even though he killed my heart...
"My princess I..." he says and I don't know how to feel...
He called me princess, but I ain't his princess.
"Just why..." I give up saying
I just need an explanation. Where did I go wrong. Where?
"I'm going to tell you all things that happened..." he says and start telling me the truth
After he did, I feel miserable. He was just trying to protect me. I know this doesn't exclude the fact that he kissed Alina, but he loves me.
This is just an obstacle that we're meant to overcome!
"Daniel I..." I start apologising
"Shhh..." he says and start kissing my neck...
