Y/N opened her eyes and gasped, quickly getting up to find herself somewhere that is just unknown. She then saw something that made her speechless as she's in some sort of magical colorful place with a beautiful tree next to her and a lake with a reflection of a moon.
"Where... am I?"
As if one cue, a blue flash shines over her and Y/N turns to see a purple winged unicorn with a carolina blue mane that sparkles like a star and teal eyes. On the side of her hip is a crescent moon mark.
Y/N was amazed at how beautiful that winged unicorn is as she gracefully landed in front of her with a gentle smile.
"Who... are you?"
"I'm Luna, who can control the night sky and the moon, the princess of Canterlot."
"Why are you here? Where are we?"
"You're in the land of dreams. And if you're going to say you've been asleep, you're not. I brought you here to tell you that you have unlocked your first ever power."
Y/N flash backed the one when she stopped Geoffrey from giving Naugus the Chaos Emerald and everything was blown up by her.
"You have unlocked the power of the sun from my sister."
She stared at her hands.
"Do I have... more than just one power?"
Luna nodded.
"You have unlocked one of the four powers we have gifted you with."
"Really?... Why?"
"That you'll find out on your own. And I'm afraid your fate will be able to come someday."
"You knew..."
"Yes. I wish we could prevent it, but there's always hope. We knew you would be able to save your people and us from this dreadful fate."
"How do you know?"
"That will be classified. But also because you're special ever since you were born. We saw a future in you. That is all I wanted to tell you. There's another reason why I brought you here."
Y/N looked up.
"What is it?"
"Something terrible is about to happen in the Light Zone. That's why I need you here to stop this and to save someone who's been hurting everyone for far too long."
She stared up at Luna in determination and nodded.
"I'll do whatever it takes."
Luna smiled and her horn glowed carolina blue until she blasted towards the distance and created a portal.
"This is where you go. Don't worry, you'll be able to go back home with this." she said, showing her the special warp rings.
"Thank you, Luna. And once I go there, do you think I'll be able to unlock another one?"
"I sure hope so. We'll meet again once the time comes. Good luck, Y/N the Hedgehog."
Y/N smiled and jumped through the portal before it closes.
"I pray that you'll be safe... We're counting on you and your friends."

Y/N groaned and stood up to find herself into a futuristic buildings with flying cars passing by as the people are happily chattering as they walk pass by. She was amazed at how this place has become and looked around.
"Wow... This place is beautiful."
Just then, she saw a TV in the glass and walk over to see what was going on as News 11 comes onto a screen with the female black cat named Sasha who's sitting in the table with the paper in front of her. On her right is those golden words 'Five Years of Peace.'
"Five years? I must be in the future!"
"We end tonight's segment with a look back at what historians are already calling the 'Five Years of Peace.'" Sasha explained. "This generation will have no trouble remembering the seemingly endless series of battles running from the Great War, the two Robotnik Wars, and the many smaller conflicts in between."
The image showed Shadow the Hedgehog who looks a little messy from the battle he had fought as Y/N could see in the background, holding the black flag with a red symbol that she couldn't describe what it is. She noticed Sasha's expression was disgruntled and uncomfortable to see his face. She wondered what happen as she got to the next explanation.
"Our war-torn world was then both rescued and conquered in one brutal year by Shadow the Hedgehog. With King Shadow came a form of peace, but at the terrible price of his brutal regime."
Y/N gawked to see Sally and Shadow married, but saw that Sally wasn't too happy about it as Shadow couldn't care less. Even Sasha was grossed out at that image.
"A measure of relief came when King Shadow married the much-beloved Queen Sally. With their union came some ease in the strict rule and harsh punishments brought by the king."
"That's... terrible. Shadow... How could you do this?" Y/N whispered.
Three images were shown with the words 'From File: Summer 3265.'
"Whoa! That's like... 30 years?! Dang!"
Those images show the Castle Acorn with futuristic cities below, Sally handing the poor a basket of food with a kind smile, and then there's Shadow talking to the Dark Egg Legion. Y/N was shocked that Shadow is working for the Dark Legion!
"The world capital was moved to the merchant city of Portal on Angel Island. There the king and queen ruled from Castle Mobius. And so Mobius limped along. The oppression clung to the ray of light that was our beloved queen... While we shivered in fear of the dark king and his brutally efficient enforcers, the Dark Presence."
"Pfft!! That's a dumb name!"
"Then, five years ago, a coup d'etat' would change everything. Guardian Knuckles, head of the E.S.T. and the Chaotix, and newly-appointed Guardian D/N led an invasion of Castle Mobius."
The image showed the future Knuckles dancing with the... hybrid echidna and hedgehog lady? Y/N was confused on who she is, but she could guess that it's his daughter. Then, who's the mother? The date showed Spring 3262.
"They were helped by long-lost world hero Sonic the Hedgehog." Sasha teared up, just saying his name as she was happy to hear him again. "Sonic*ahem* excuse me... Sonic, who had vanished sometime after the second Robotnik War, was long thought dead in the final conflict with Dr. Robotnik."
The image showed Sonic and Sally looking happy as they wave to the crowd beneath the balcony. The date showed Summer 3262. Now this made Y/N happy to see that. The next image then made Y/N even more happy as she try not to scream.
"True to his legendary speed, King Sonic was quickly crowned the new king of Mobius and wed his childhood sweetheart. The support for the regime change was universal!" Sasha happily said.
The image showed Sally and Sonic happily married as Y/N silently screamed in happiness while whispering "I knew it! I knew it! I knew it!".
"It has been five years since we crowned our new king. Tomorrow all of Mobius will celebrate the anniversary of his coronation and these past five years of peace."
The last image showed Sonic and Sally with two kids in their arms. The girl and the boy that looked exactly like them. Y/N was so happy for the future Sonic as she wondered what her future will be in her Prime Zone, since every dimensions are different.

The next morning, Y/N was in the crowd as she's in front of the Castle Mobius, waiting for Sonic and Sally and their kids to come out. She was excited to hear the speech from Sonic when she suddenly saw something rather... suspicious as the male echidna was wearing his dark outfit with a case in his hands. Odd... She looked around to find more dark echidnas as they were planning on something and it doesn't look good. Suddenly, she saw the same hybrid echidna and hedgehog as she flew up to the sky as she must have noticed something was wrong as well. Y/N didn't get a chance to see what was going on as everyone cheered loudly. She looked up and gasped to see King Sonic and his family as they wave to the crowd.
"Thank you for accepting me as king." Sonic said. "For welcoming our great kids into the world with us and, heck, for just being so accepting of us. The past five years have been great for everyone. That's in part thanks to the change in management... but it's really thanks to all of you. You've wanted pace, and you've made it happen by working together. You all have shown you know what it took me... what feels like two lifetimes... to figure out. That you need to cherish people your work and live with. They're what make Mobius so awesome, and they're what make each of us special. Sure, we've all still got our differences. But we're solving them the way we always should have—peacefully. I'm not really the speech-giving type, so I'll sum it up quick so we can party! We'll maintain the peace we have today with love, trust and respect. And we'll maintain those with understanding, patience and honesty."
Y/N smiled in proudness that Sonic's growing up. Suddenly, she heard a loud boom and turned and gasped to see a rocket flying towards King Sonic, Queen Sally, and their kids!! She quickly looked around for anything until she got an idea and ran over to the hot dog stand where the Dark Presence echidna was who flinched as she jumped onto the umbrella and barreled herself towards them from the balcony with the help of her ruby power as she threw something towards them and it created a giant pink bubble around them. They looked around in confusion until their eyes meet Y/N's as she landed in front of them and brought out her pink shield.
"Sis?!"
"Y/N?!"
She didn't answer them as she was ready to destroy the rocket when a green bubble stopped it as it trapped the rocket before it exploded with a loud bam. Y/N was shocked and happy to see the familiar face. She then made the bubble disappear as they stare at the unknown stranger.
"Who's that daddy?"
"My name is Silver the Hedgehog. I've come back to your present to save my future."
"Silver!!" Y/N smiled.
"Y/N?! Y-You're here!"
Silver immediately hugged her, much to her surprise.
"What are you doing here?"
"I was about to ask you the same thing. And it's easy, I'm here to save their present."
"Sis? What are you doing here?" King Sonic asked in confusion.
"Auntie Y/N!!" Sonic's and Sally's kids cheered.
"Um... Sorry, but I'm not your Y/N. I'm from the Prime Zone."
"So you're from another timeline?" Queen Sally asked.
"I guess you could say that."
"Mom...?"
Y/N turned to see the same hybrid echidna and hedgehog who stare at her in shock.
"Um... Hi? Do I know you? And did you just call me mom?"
"Well, yes! You're my mom! And my dad is Knuckles!"
"K-Knuckles?! Me?! You mean I'm married to—"
She sighed and fainted on the spot after hearing that.
"Auntie Y/N?... Are you dead?"

That night after Y/N recovered from her faint and hearing such news about herself being married to Knuckles as King Sonic and Queen Sally had explained along with the rest of their stories she had never heard before and was speechless. Right now, Y/N was sitting on the couch to wait for King Sonic and Queen Sally's arrival as soon as they deal with their kids while Silver is staring at the photo of those kids.
"Sorry to keep you two waiting. It took us a bit to put the twins to bed." King Sonic said as they walk down the stairs.
"I understand. They had a rough day." Silver assured him.
"That's fine. I'm sure they're just a little surprised at the unexpected turn of events." Y/N assured.
King Sonic and Queen Sally sat next to Y/N as Silver placed the photo down.
"Are rocket attacks against you common these days?"
"No. The whole point of the celebration today was to mark Five Years of Peace."
"I saw those Dark Presence in the crowd. They were planning on something and I don't know what it is, but it was not good." Y/N added.
"I see..." Queen Sally voiced.
"Mostly peaceful. When the last tyrant lost his stranglehold of the planet, it made a few regional leaders, well..." King Sonic started.
"Over-eager. King Shadow's former secret police, the Dark Presence, also work against us here in the capital."
"They're really are desperate and stupid... So typical." Y/N muttered.
King Sonic grasp Queen Sally's hand lovingly.
"But outside of today, things really have been quiet. Mostly thanks to my queen."
"A hero back from the dead is a tough act to beat."
"The queen who kept the peace under King Shadow and through a coup d'etat does just that."
"How wonderful." Y/N smiled.
"Yeah, well, that peace of yours is at an end. Something happens in this period of time that will destroy my time—one hundred and seventy years into the future." Silver rudely said, bursting their bubble.
"During this exact time? Are you sure?"
"R-Reasonably, look, if you're doubting me because I attacked Sonic before..."
"You what? When?"
"It's... kinda a misunderstanding." Y/N nervously said.
"It was two hundred years ago! Well, thirty for you, I mean, but two hundred for me and..." Silver nervously stated.
"Guys? Guys?" King Sonic called, calming them down. "From one time-hopper to another, trust me when I say that trying to make past and present sync perfectly is sometimes more trouble than it's worth."
"Wait! You mean you time travel before?" Y/N asked in slight shock.
"Since when have you time-traveled? How?" Silver asked just as shock as her.
"I'd rather not talk about it. You?" King Sonic said.
"Er... trade secret."
"Well then."
Silver was silent for a bit until he spoke.
"A-Anyway... I'm willing to bet that the disaster in your time is linked to the group that attacked you this morning."
"Like Y/N, I mean the other Y/N said about the Dark Presence. They're hold-overs from an old paramilitary group called the Dark Legion. They have two divisions: the Dark Eyes in charge of Espionage, and the Dark Hands, who do all the field operations. They've never done anything to endanger the world outside of destabilizing the government." Queen Sally explained.
"You're forgetting Lien-Da." King Sonic pointed out.
"Ugh! Her! I never liked her from the start. Kinda figured... She never change." Y/N groaned.
"Who?" Silver questioned.
"The leader of the Dark Presence and King Shadow's right-hand woman. When I took over, she disappeared and left her family behind."
"Since when does she have a family? She doesn't even care about them." Y/N said.
"Well, that's where you're wrong. You see, she had a boy named Rutan."
"Who's the father?"
"No one knows. But she's been really close to him, but ever since then, Rutan's never been in contact with her."
"That sounds sad." she frowned. "Is there anyone taking care of him?"
"Dimitri is."
"Really? Wow."
"If we're facing such a well-organized enemy, then we'll need the Freedom Fighters!" Silver suggested.
"The Freedom Fighters disbanded years ago." King Sonic said.
"Really? Dang it... I was really looking forward to see them." Y/N frowned.
Silver face-palmed in frustration.
"You've got to be kidding me!"
"There was a world-wide peace under King Shadow, despite his oppression, and I convinced them to stand down to preserve that peace when I began instilling my own policies." Queen Sally stated.
"In that case, would that make her the traitor? No, that doesn't fit!"
Y/N sighed, knowing he's still going on with that.
"I'm sorry?"
"I said—Isn't there anyone we can call?"
"I suppose we could try calling the Chaotix back from around the world, but without a clear threat..."
"Well, there are a couple of former Freedom Fighters we were planning on meeting tomorrow... I'm sure we can count on the Prowers."
"Tails? How is he?" Y/N asked.
"He's been doing great. You're in for a surprise at how old he is."
"I'm looking forward to it, your majesty."
Y/N playfully bow to her future brother with a wink, making him chuckle.
"Still the same Y/N I know."
"I dunno... I was expecting something different from this time of period..." Silver said.
"Hey, we can make it work, no matter what." King Sonic assured him.
"Perhaps if you have us a little more detail beyond 'the world is going to end'..." Queen Sally added.
"I do beg your pardons..."
Y/N turned to see a female echidna maid walking towards them with a covered tray. Though, she noticed something wasn't right.
"If you will be staying up, may I bring you any refreshments?"
"Thank you, but nothing for me."
"Ditto. At this case, I just can't do the chili dogs at all hours anymore."
"Whoa! Who are you and what have you done with Sonic?" Y/N asked, not expecting him to not eat chili dogs.
"Hey! I'm a king, remember?"
"Right..."
"You miss?" Maid asked to Y/N.
"No thank you. I'm good."
She then turned to Silver.
"And you, sir?"
"I, um, no. Thank you."
"Aren't you that brave and mysterious stranger? The one who saved our king with his amazing powers?"
"Aw, well, I don't know about 'amazing' or 'brave'. I mean, I did, sure, but..."
Suddenly, she brought out a gun and sprayed him, causing Silver to get knocked out.
"Silver!!" Y/N exclaimed.
"Well, we can't have a repeat of that, hero."
Y/N ran towards the echidna maid and slammed her against the pillar with her katana already out, pointing at her neck.
"Dark Presence! What are you trying to pull now?!"
King Sonic walked over to her.
"Two years is a long time to be a sleeper agent."
Maid turned to him with a smirk.
"Don't worry, sire. The kids are safe in their beds."
Y/N had enough with her attitude and sliced her arm, making her scream.
"This is a fair warning for ever trying to hurt my friends and my family."
She then brought out a sleeping gun and sprayed it at the maid, knocking her out instantly. Y/N turned to the knocked out Silver who's being checked by Queen Sally.
"How is he?"
"He's alright. He's asleep." Queen Sally assured her.
"Lien-Da probably wants to see us personally. Here's the plan— You take sleeping beauty here and the kids and you lock yourselves in the panic room. Me and other sis will hold off the Dark Presence." King Sonic said.
"Sounds good to me." Y/N nodded.
"I served next to King Shadow for years. I've never taken to being a damsel in distress." Queen Sally protested.
"They shot a rocket at my head. They're gunning for me first. You can get our kids to safety."
"And then sit around while you risk life and limb and play action hero again."
"Yes. This kingdom and our kids are more important than me. By a long shot."
"Fine then!"
"Fine!"
"Be careful. Be safe."
"I will!"
"Good!"
"Good!"
Queen Sally and King Sonic kissed for a second before he grabbed Y/N's hand and zoomed off. Y/N had no idea what just happened.
"Sonic the Hedgehog—Winning arguments for married men the world over!"
"You really handle that one good."
"Thanks, other sis."
They skid to a stop to see D/N already here with the downed Dark Presence.
"Awwww— D/N! Don't tell me you got them all already!"
"You need to be quicker, your majesty."
She turned to Y/N.
"Hi, other mom."
"Hi..."
Y/N waved and noticed one of the Dark Presence was up and about to attack D/N from behind, but King Sonic already saw that and spin dashed him, knocking him out.
"Still got it." he patted his gloves.
"That you do. You're going to have to teach me that move." D/N smirked.
"What about me? I'm sure you know how to spin-dash from your own mother."
"Well..."
Suddenly, the guns from the ceiling are pointing at them.
"Uh oh." King Sonic said.
"The security system has been turned against us!"
The guns began shooting lasers at them. They all dodged that as they ran through the hallway.
"Lien-Da must have had some kind of back-door into the security access codes!"
"And I told Knuckles he was being paranoid when he wanted to replace the entire security system."
"And you didn't listen to him?!" Y/N yelled.
"How am I supposed to know?!"
"She's probably initiated a full lock-down. What do we do?" D/N asked.
"We get out while we can and think of a plan."
They are getting close to the window.
"What about the queen and...?"
"Sally has everything under control." Y/N assured her. "They'll be safe. Now—"
They crash through a window as King Sonic and Y/N spin dashes while D/N flies.
"Let's do it to it!" King Sonic and Y/N said in unison.
D/N quickly grabbed both of their hands as they fly high up to the sky.
"Did you two seriously use that line back in the day?"
"It's a classic! You prefer 'hasta la vista, mistah'?"
"Plus, it never gets old!!"
"Only you could make me laugh in a situation like— Oh no."
"What? What is it?"
"What's up? Do you see a problem?"
D/N gently drop them to the ground.
"Signs of one."
Y/N saw a cute small golden yellow and white fox boy with sky blue eyes. He wears blue and yellow boots, white knee socks, white gloves with blue lining, and a spatial armband. Next to him was a female yellow Mongoose with purple hair and blue eyes. She wears a black and purple tube top, turquoise shorts, cyan, black shoes, turquoise gloves, purple bracelets, silver hoop earrings, and she also wears a spatial armband as his.
"King Sonic! King Sonic! Help!"
King Sonic kneel down to the kids.
"Skye! Melody! Are you alright?"
"Yessir! You've got to help! A bunch of bad guys in black attacked mom and dad!" Melody exclaimed.
"They already got the Prowers?!" D/N exclaimed in shock.
"No way!" Y/N gasped.
"We tried to find help, but all of the E.S.T. are busy with all the people partying and we couldn't find anyone and-and-and—!"
"Shh, you did fine." King Sonic gently shushed Melody.
"No, we didn't! Mom dropped us off and we didn't go to help! We could've saved them!"
Skye began to cry.
"King Shadow was just one guy! How are we supposed to take back the entire castle with the Dark Presence locked in? Maybe if we'd had the Prowers with us, but now..." D/N exclaimed.
Y/N had enough of their worries and cries as she began to shout.
"Alright, everyone!! Calm down!!!"
They immediately stopped to see Y/N while King Sonic smiled.
"I know we're all worried here and things are really getting out of hand, but we can't just think we're not good enough to save everyone when there's always hope. We can do this. And I promise you that we'll save your loved ones."
"Auntie Y/N!!" Melody and Skye gasped.
"Sorry, but I'm not your auntie... yet. I'm your other auntie."
King Sonic placed a hand on their shoulders.
"Other sis is right. I know how these bad guys work. Your folks are asleep and probably tied up, but fine. Until we rescue them, we'll make sure nothing bad happens to you two. Okay?"
Melody and Skye nodded.
"A-Alright."
"...okay."
King Sonic turned to D/N.
"And D/N will help out too because she's a Guardian and is going to pull herself together, right?"
"Y-Yeah. Sorry about that, sir." D/N rubbed her head.
"Don't worry. Half of Mobius is on the island right now for the party. There's bound to be somebody here we can recruit."
"Right."
"First, though, we need someplace safe to fall back to."
"I'm sure Argyle will help us hide out."
"Who?" Y/N questioned.
"Uncle Vector's son. We're... he's a good friend."
"Sounds good! Lead the way!"
King Sonic, Y/N, Skye, Melody, and D/N then ran off for a place to hide. Y/N rocket skated side by side with D/N.
"So... You said you and this Argyle were what?"
"I... Rather not say."
"Is he your type?" Y/N smirked.
D/N blushed and ran faster to ignore her question, making Y/N smile in amusement.
