Wanda sits on the examination table in Bruce's lab
W- Ouch !
N- Don't move !
Nat is disinfecting the wound on Wanda's face. You are back against the wall a few meters from them and you are thinking.
W- Ouch, stop !!!
Nat sighs and takes her face in her hands looking at her straight in the eyes
N- Don't... move !
Wanda sighs and closes her eyes as Nat puts a bandage on it.
Nat turns to you as Wanda touches her bandage
N- What are you thinking about ?
Y/n- Wanda don't touch that !
Nat turns to her and slaps her hand looking at her with an angry look
N- Don't be a child and stop touching it !
W- I'm not a child !
Y/n- I was thinking about the person who did this.
W- It was a woman, I saw her body through the leather clothes, she is a woman I'm sure
Y/n- Okay so... why she was there ?
N- Maybe she is homeless ?
She said shrugging her shoulders
Y/n- No she isn't...
W- How can you know that ?
Y/n- I don't know... there's something weird... when she threw me against the wall, just before, I could touch her and I felt something strange... she was spying on us that's for sure!
N- Okay but let's admit she was spying on us, how do you want to find her ?
Y/n- I can smell her, I have to go back there
You turn to exit the room, Wanda and Nat follow you. You turn around suddenly and they are in front of you
Y/n- No, Wanda stay here please
W- What ? Why ?!
You roll your eyes and fold your arms.
Y/n- Uhhh... I don't know, maybe because you are pregnant with our baby and because she can hurt you !
W- Wha- No ! That's not fair !
Y/n- Yeah I know
You take her head and kiss her forehead before running to the exit with Nat leaving Wanda in the lab.
N- Wait, you sure ?
Y/n- Yes, I have to find her...
N- Okay, I'm following you
Y/n- Thanks baby
You kiss her hand before heading back to coffee in your luxurious car. You arrive a few minutes later, you are in front of the small alley. You get out of the car and you're standing in front of the alley.
N- Take your time
You walk in the alley and you no longer feel the presence of the woman, you know that the alley is empty.
Y/n- It's okay you can come !
You yell at Nat so she can hear you. You arrive at the trash cans with Nat, where you were thrown against the wall. You push a trash can because you smell a smell. You see a paper
Y/n- There's something right here !
Nat bends over and watches
N- She wrote there : "Well done, you are not as stupid as I thought... or not... give your child kisses for me. Bye Little Wolf ;) Signed : Unknown" Wow, weird !
Y/n- Wait, What does it say at the end ?
N- Uhhh : "Signed : Unknown"
Y/n- No no, before that !
N- Oh uh "Bye Little Wolf" What does that even mean ?!
You start to feel weird, you step back slightly and your breathing quickens. Nat turns to you and take your head in her hands as you stare at the paper on the floor
N- Hey !
She turns your head forcefully so that you look her in the eyes
She ends up succeeding and you stare at her
N- What is happening ?
Y/n- Dad used to call me Little Wolf when I was little because I have always been passionate about wolves...
N- But- how can she know that ?!
Y/n- I think I'm going to have to talk to my mom, she must have some answers, I was young at that time... maybe she's been spying on me since I was young...
You look down the alley again and look for a scent
N- Can you smell something ?
Y/n- No... There's nothing here, let's go home.
You are heading for the car. You open the door and take one last look at the alley but you can't see anything. You drive staring at the road, lost in your thoughts. Suddenly Nat turns the steering wheel violently before you hit the brake as the car suddenly stops.You turn your gaze to Nat completely shocked
Y/n- Why did you do that ?!
N- Y/n... You almost ran over a puppy...
Y/n- What ?
You turn around to look at the back of the car, on the road, a little white spot.
You get out of the car and you approach the little white beast curled up
Nat looks at you from the car
You hear fearful little noises
He's lying on his side, he breathes but he looks weak and young
Y/n- Hey little guy, it's okay
You crouch down next to him and you don't dare touch him for fear his mother won't want him anymore
You look around but the road is deserted, nobody, just that little puppy in the middle of the road
You bring your finger to his muzzle and you feel him lick your finger.
Y/n- It's going to be fine, I'll take you with me I'll take care of you and feed you.
You pass your hand under his small body and you get up by heading towards the car where Nat is waiting for you.
N- Oh hey
You sit in front of the steering wheel and look for a bottle of water
Y/n- This little guy was all alone, weakened and he licked my finger, I wasn't going to leave him here alone on the road
You take a small towel that you put on your knees before putting the puppy on this towel
You open the water bottle and fill the cap to give him a drink
Y/n- Here buddy, drink
You bring the cap to his muzzle and he starts to drink slowly
N- He is cute, What are we going to do with him ?
Y/n- I don't know... I would like to keep him
She smiles at you and watches again the puppy who has finished drinking, fall asleep. Once you get home Wanda is in the room watching a movie and eating a sandwich You open the door with the little puppy who is in your arms in great shape. Wanda looks at you surprised
N- Here is our little find
W- Oh my god he is so cute !
Y/n- I know right !
You approach her and you hand her the puppy. She picks him up and puts him on the bed stroking him as he licks her hand
W- What is his name ?
Wanda and Nat look at you as a common but cute name comes to mind
Y/n- I'll name him Buddy
N- I love that !
Wanda comes back to him
W- Hey Buddy, you are so cute.
Y/n- Can we keep him ?
W- Of course ! He is so cute.
He climbs on Wanda's knees and curls up to sleep.
