Jaehyun's POV
I stared at her photos on my phone. She was smiling brightly, as she held my hand on the photo. She is so beautiful, the way she smiles. Y/n lift up everything,.. she's a breath of sunshine.
I'm sorry..I kept telling it to my phone.
" You don't deserve any of it.." I whispered, trying to remember all the memories I have with her.
I kept remembering every time she comes over, with her smile. And what she loves to do, and the things we usually do.
I miss her..so much
But I know.. she's happy. And I'm happy for her..it hurts that it so sudden, it felt like I can't fully breathe. I really wanted to breathe... so I decided to go to my parents' place. I didn't want to leave any traces of me, I also didn't tell the other members. I just needed to breathe and I know this is the right way. To be happy for them, without any picture of me.. I called Taeyong where the wedding will be. He answered, she always like that church. I made my way to the church and saw Y/n standing in front of the church door, about to walk.
" She's so beautiful.." I hid behind the pillar outside the church.
She was wearing this tube white dress with lace. She looks perfect..
She's the most beautiful bride.
I smiled weakly, I wanted to run to her, kissed her, and tell how I truly love her.
But I can no longer do any of that.. I lost that right.. Because I'm the reason why she'd suffered. I made her cry..and made her feel less and she doesn't deserve it.
And this will be the last time that I'll see her.
A tear escaped my eyes.
"Goodbye, Y/n.." I whispered as I made my way.
Every step I take, it felt heavy. I don't want to walk away from her.. but this was the right thing to do. I grabbed my chest wanting to rip my heart out, wanting to not feel anything.
" Jaehyun?" an angel called.
It made my heart skipped.
YOUR POV
As you were standing in front of the door of the church.
This was the thing you wanted..
But apart from you wanted different.
FLASHBACK:
As you and Jungwoo made your way home. You were holding him, he was hurt.
"Y/n?" he called, but you still continued walking.
You remembered Jaehyun's tears.. you felt the pain and regret in his tears.
You felt the tears on your cheeks, as you and Jungwoo walks. He saw it, it made him stopped.
"Y/n.." he said, making you face him.
But you can't stop the tears. And just cry in front of him. While he watched every tear, he wanted to take all the pain. But deep inside he knows he can't..
" It hurts.." you whispered, grabbing your chest.
Jaehyun.. was there..
The only thing that you kept thinking was Jaehyun. It hurts so bad seeing him like that. You didn't know why you're like that. Crying -
" You still love him," Jungwoo said, with his small smile.
That made you look at him, you stared at his eyes.
You realized.. you still do.
You just stared at him. Jungwoo doesn't deserve any of this. You wanted to tell him that you don't love Jaehyun anymore. But no words..
You just stood there frozen, while the tears kept streaming. Jungwoo pulled you in a hug, " It's okay, " he said, brushing your hair.
" It's oka-"
" I understand.. that you still love him. And I will wait for you to love me too.." his voice broke.
You just froze there, still crying. As Jungwoo embraced you in his arms.
END OF FLASHBACK:
You were waiting for the door when a familiar shadow appeared on your peripheral sight. You know who it was. You decided to follow it.. and saw Jaehyun.
" Jaehyun?" you called, enough for him to hear.
He slowly turns and saw you. You can see in his eyes that he cried. You stared at him, wanting to say something but no words..
" You really look beautiful.." he said with a weak smile.
It made your heart skip.
" What are you doing here?" you asked, taking a step towards him.
He stared at you, with his dreamy eyes. You wanted to hug him.. and tell him you still love him. But you can't..
" I wanted to see you," he confessed, calmly.
"But I didn't plan anything, that will affect your wedding," he said softly.
"I just really wanted to see you, for the last time," he said, moving towards you.
You observed him and saw how tired he was.
" Wae, where are you going-" you were about to ask him, where he was going.
When one of your bridesmaids called you. You turn to say something to Jaehyun, but then he took a step back, when one of your friend were about to take you.
It was painful.. as he back away..
Looking down at the ground before saying, " Go, he's waiting," he said.
You wanted to say something but you know-
" Be happy..Y/n," he said, a tear escaped in his eyes. Before walking away slowly, you watched him. You began to cry, wanting to go after him. But your feet lead you to the church. As you walked on the aisle seeing your soon-to-be husband.
Jungwoo stood at the altar, with his genuine smile. He has been there, at your worst. He helped you from seeing other things that you should see, the great things in life, he made you smile, and laugh. He's one of the best person you've met. But..
Tears were falling down your cheeks, and.. you thought it was tears of joy. But you know it wasn't..You wanted to go and ran to Jaehyun. You reached Jungwoo's hands, he stared at you wearing his perfect fit suit.
You were still crying.. Jungwoo noticed your expression and saw that you were crying over something. He automatically figured it out.
He looks at you, with his smile. But deep inside.. he wanted to cry. It hurts so much to see his great love, love someone else. At the look of you , he already knows what you wanted. And who you truly chose. Since day one.. you chose Jaehyun.
" Go, go to him," he caresses your cheeks, wiping the tears away. He was gentle and careful.
You pulled him in a hug.
Jungwoo deserves someone better, that will love him the way he should be love.
" Thank you.." you said, before running away. Everyone stood up, confused about what was happening. But you didn't care, as you made your way where Jaehyun was.
You saw his car and noticed he wasn't there. You looked around, and there was this mini garden behind the church. That's when you saw Jaehyun, staring at the beautiful central fountain.
You smiled, ready to say everything. You made your way towards him.
" Jaehyun," you called.
He turned to see you.
And saw you with your beautiful white dress. You just stood there, watching him.
You were really happy seeing him.. the man who you will forever love.
" What are-" he was about to ask, surprised.
" I love you too.." you said with relief. Jaehyun's eyes began to sparkle with tears.
" I'll always choose you," you added, slightly panting.
He stood there, watching you. As the sunlight flashes you. It was silent for a moment both of you stared at each other.
" I.. ur.- " you wanted to say something when he runs to you, pulling you in a kiss.
You missed him so much, his lips.. his touch..
He rested his hands on your waist as you travel your hands on his neck. You pulled him deeper, you wanted to be with him so much.
" I'm sorry for what-"
" Shh..I told you before, I forgive you and .. I love you," you beam.
He smiled at you, before pulling in a hug.
" I love you too, so much.." he said back, burying his head on your shoulder, kissing your shoulder.
