What If sabre was a dinosaur.
Like...
I imagine this going 2 ways.
Either sabre is a smaller or kinda human sized dinosaur...

Or maybe he would be a big dinosaur like...

Or even a spinosaurus.
If he was a big dinosaur...
I could imagine him always sitting outside the house sad cause he doesn't fit and he can't see his friend.
The steve's could build a big window for sabre in the living room of the house so he could look inside and see his friends!!!
He would most definetly give loads of steve's piggyback rides! Or maybe he would help the steves transport materials!
If he was a small dinosaur like a compy he could probably sit of the steve's shoulders and get little rides!
Maybe he'd imitate a parrot and just scream random words at steve's. :3
(I like this idea, this has big potential)
