One of the two children was name Bai Chengyue, while the boy was name Shen Zhemin.

They went to both primary and high school together, until one day, when Shen Zhemin was sent to overseas by his family to focus on his studies.

When Bai Chengyue got to know that, she went all the way to the airport by herself and started to search for however, she couldn't find him anymore.
He came into her life as a ray of light,

What made it worse was that, during the time Bai Chengyue left her house, a fire happend there, which caused Father Bai and Mother Bai's death, leaving only Bai Chengyue behind to depend on herself.

No parents, no close relatives and even her only best friend was gone.
Luckily, Bai Chengyue's parents left their will behind with all their fortune on it. However, because the legal age to inherit a will was 18, Bai Chengyue as only a 16 years old wasn't able to get the will at that time.
Bai Chengyue didn't care about the will but straight went to her parent's company, which was made of their many years of hard work.
I have to make my parents proud...

That year, Bai Chengyue stepped into the company was a normal employee but 5 years later, she stood at the same entrance but this time not as a ordinary worker rather as the Successful President of The Number One Business Empire in the whole Nation.
In these five years, Bai Chengyue had experienced many things, withstood many storms, endured being lock down upon, which made her heart already numb She had many dealings with the underworld, and her hands were soaked in the blood of many evildoers. Her eyes now don't contain any emotions and no one can even spot the slightest hints of ripples inside those phoenix sharp pupils.
Well, this was until, the handsome guy from overseas came back as a famous actor and influential singer in both the entertainment industry.
They both once again met at a banquet, they instantly smiled as they saw each other.
There was no confusion or resentment from Bai Chengyue though.
Because she knew it wasn't his fault.
Shen Zhemin was happy beyond words, he never thought that in this boring banquet, his Chengyue was also here. Even his heart was in relief after seeing that she was fine. Over the years, he heard of many rumours about the new Aloof President Bai and was concerned about her health.
What if she broke down after uncle and aunt's death?
And I can't even help her at this moment.

Slowly, they began to get closer to each other as the distant wall broke down, which was created over the years. And Shen Zhemin realized his feelings for Bai Chengyue first and decided to propose.
However, Bai Chengyue didn't had any of the feeling which Shen Zhemin had for her, well, that was at least what she thought as she was completely oblivious to her own feelings.
They argued over it and never meet again for 2 years because of their argument.
We never talked it over.
Maybe both me and Chengyue need time to calm down first.
True, both of them needed to calm down and Bai Chengyue also needed to understand her feelings for him or else her feelings for him will forever be buried inside her heart. In this two years, Bai Chengyue understood her feelings for Shen Zhemin and was distressed at the fact that they had no contact during the 2 years.
One day, Bai Chengyue was dealing with the mafia of the underworld. And because of a sudden bomb explosion, Bai Chengyue wasn't able to escape in time and ended up being severely wounded.
Shen Zhemin, who was monitoring Bai Chengyue's every move, hurriedly rushed to the location where everything happened and took her to the hospital. And she was sent into the ICU as her injury was to the point that she became a human vegetable and went into coma.
Shen Zhemin being a love-struck idiot for his Chengyue, did everything he could do to wake her up.
Ahh, Chengyue...when will you wake up?
I can't bear to see you like this, so wake up quickly.
Look, I can't even eat or sleep properly now.
Look, how thin I am now after you decided to sleep for this long.
So, if you don't wake up,

Maybe God really listened to Shen Zhemin's prayer and in the same night, Bai Chengyue woke up. But, she lost all her memories.
He always tried everything to make her happy and remember memories. He accompanied her to visit many places and countries. However, nothing happened.
He spent all his life beside her but even this time, she didn't love him, though she did, well which was a fact only she knew and never confessed because she wanted to remember her past first.
Chengyue, in this life.....you didn't love me back as much as I love you

"Yeah...host....I understand...," Xue Yun meekly answered, if she was in her physical form, she would probably be standing there with watery eyes and a pouty face with a wronged expression.
Yu Meng didn't pressure Xue Yun anymore and wanted to find more about the designer of these clothes: "It's okay. I will try out and see who the person is and." she paused and took deep long breath, "....then we have to make a decision will benefit us as we won't be able to eliminate her as potential danger."
"I will ask the receptionist about the designer of these clothes first, so you can search about the person's background," Yu Meng spoke to Xue Yun through her head and with warm smile, she headed towards the counter, where the receptionist was standing.
"Good Morning Ma'am, how can I help you?" The receptionist politely asked.
"Excuse me, can you please tell me who is designer of that set of clothes?" Yu Meng lightly questioned as she pointed towards the clothes, which gave her a familiar feeling.
When the receptionist saw where Yu Meng was pointing at, she let out a surprised gasp and answered, "Oh, that set of clothes, ma'am, it is personally designed by our boss. Did you take a liking to it, ma'am?"
Yu Meng nodded in assent, "Yeah, I like it very much. By the way, what is your boss's name and is your boss here today?"
"Our boss's name is Ning Qi and I think boss is here today but I not sure, because our boss comes very early before anyone among us fellow workers, and if you can wait here for a minute, I will just get my boss, though only if she is here," the receptionist left the thunder-struck Yu Meng alone behind her.
"NO WAY! It is can't be her!" Xue Yun sweet voice shook in disbelief.
"Ning Qi, oml, why does it have to be her again?!
Urgh, every time I am on the same plane as her, I would have to deal with only god knows how much trouble, though..." though she is a really good bestie, Yu Meng was about to spill it out by impulse but restrained herself first. How could Yu Meng bring herself to admit that, and if she did, she will probably deal with a heavy blow on her pitiful dignity.
It's a long story between Yu Meng and Ning Qi. They were both task-takers and after going through some of the worlds together, they became each other's arch nemesis, for who knows what kind of reason.
As both Xue Yun and Yu Meng were deeply immersed in their own little world, they didn't notice a figure slipping in front of them. When the figure noticed that she was being ignored, she gave a light cough to take their attention.
"Cough...cough," Ning Qing lightly coughed as she graciously smiled.
On the other hand, Yu Meng fiercely glared at Ning Qi and somewhat viciously asked, "What are you doing here? Are you actually following me?"
"Do you own this world? And whatever I do is none of your business," Ning Qi narrowed her eyes as retorted against Yu Meng. "None of my business? Hmph, it's none of my business, right? But I was asking because I need to keep myself safe, and my safety is definitely my business!" Yu Meng gave an angry laugh as her usual gentle demeaner changed to of an old sly fox.
However, this time Ning Qi just stood there and didn't bother argue with the childish Yu Meng. When Yu Meng couldn't bear the quietness anymore, Yu Meng couldn't help but break the silence and randomly blurted out what she had in her mind for a long time, " Hey, Ning Qi, are you in love with me?
Don't be offended but I mean, it is like your are following me in every world, like those lovers of other task-takers do, and most of the you are in a male's body, even though you were originally a female like now. Just be honest this time, I am tired of us always arguing, you know.
If we could go back to how we were, when we were best friends, that would be very good. But, it's up to you to make the decision."
"Are you a fucking retard?" Ning Qi looked speechless as glared at Yu Meng.
Yu Meng smiled, feeling embarrassed by her words and, "I am sorry, I shouldn't have said that." Ning Qi made a disgusted face at her and spat out some words, "Mate, not everyone is in love with you, I was just randomly given this world, don't flatter yourself."
