"hey guys!" dixie shouted from downstairs opening the front door
today's saturday and her friends are here to go to dinner with us
"it's been so long!" charlotte shouted wrapping her arms around dixie
"you look so good!" camilla exclaimed copying charlotte
"hey" tim said from the door way i can guess he was smirking
"ellie come on!" dixie shouted
do i really want to do this?

"ellie!" dixie shouted again
isn't this going to be fun
"i'm coming!" i shouted back annoyed
i walked down the stairs to see dixie and her friends talking
"this good?" i asked spinning in a circle
"you look great and your friends are coming" dixie said smiling
"my friends?" i asked confused
"yeah theo, sofia, emily, dylan and carson"
"not really my friends" i tell her "haven't seen them since like last year"
"just be nice" dixie smiled before dragging me out the door behind her friends
"hi i'm timothee" the boy introduced smiling reaching his hand out
"ellie" i smiled back shaking his hand "nice to meet you"
we drove to the restuarant in dixies car because it's the biggest and we can be the most comfortable in
while driving i made a few observations, camilla is like in love with tim and tim is in love with dixie and charlottes boyfriend is a freshman at some uni on the east coast
we pulled up to the restuarant about 20 minutes later and walked in, looking fire as hell might i add
"this way please" the hostess smiled leading leading us to a table where 5 people were already seated. two girls and three guys in all black like me
"hey!" dixie said going up to each of them and hugging them
"hey" i awkwardly waved from a distance
"heyy!" the two girls ran up to me hugging me
"i haven't seen you in ages!" sofia says letting go of me
"how have you been" emily smiles at me
"i'm good" i laughed awkwardly
i don't like this much attention
"els" theo smiled grabbing me into a hug
he was my best friend up until the beginning of 10th grade
"theo" i smiled hugging him tighter
"hey i'm carson" the guy named carson smiled as theo let go of me
"hi i'm ellie" i introduced myself getting more comfortable
carson must have transferred to kings while i was in LA
"dylan" i smiled hugging him
honestly i missed them i miss having friends that actually know me and knew me before charli and dixie and not as their sister
"i missed you" dylan whispered into my ear
"i missed you too" i laughed letting go of him
"sit next to me!" theo said excited pulling me next to him
"okay so what have i missed" i smiled facing them
"well i'm a fifth wheel now" theo laughed
okay so i guess sofia and dylan and dating he's always had a thing for her so go him and i guess emily and carson are together
i'm not any kind of detective they're just sitting next to eachother very closely
"so are you coming to bahamas with everyone?" theo asks me
"i think so... wait i though it was only seniors" the way dixie explained it made it seem like only seniors were going
"no all of us are" dylan said smiling
"okay good because i thought i was gonna be bored out of my mind" i laugh out
dinner went good we took pictures, we ate and we caught up, you know things you do at restaurants
"you guys wanna come by me?" i ask as we left the restaurant
"um sure i don't think we have anything better to do" sofia said smiling
"okay great"
"you wanna drive with us?" emily asked
"why not" i said laughing
we got into emily's car, emily driving, sofia next to her and carson and dylan sitting next to eachother in the middle then me and theo in the back
"so i heard you were bringing out a song next saturday" emily said to me driving
"yeah good 4 u" i answer smiling
"can we hear it?" sofia asked
"yeah of course give me the aux"
she handed me in the aux and i plugged my phone in before playing my song
i sat nervously as the song played, these were the first people outside of my family that i'm showing the song too, so i have the right to be nervous

"OH MY FUCKING GOD!" theo screamed
"THAT SHIT FIREE!" dylan screams
"wait i'm in love" emily says laughing
"i see the top charts already" sofia laughs
"who's it about?" carson asks curiously
"oh um my ex" i answer "jaden"
"i told u not to bring it up" sofia said slapping carson
"it's okay" i tell them "we broke up, um he cheated on me and yeah"
"is there an album coming?" theo asked me
"in the works" i answer trying to be as vague as possible
"can we hear it?" carson asks
"i don't have it with me i'm sorry" i answer laughing
"all good we're here anyway" emily says motioning to the house in front of us
"time to party!" theo shouted
"and we got the house to ourself theyre at tim's!" i shouted
