Y/N POV
After hearing a cough me and Lia quickly broke off the hug only to hear a chuckle. Once we turned our head we see JYP standing and shaking his head.
"You two really need to be better at hiding your relationship." He said.
"S-sorry, sir." I replied.
"Do it like in a corner or a empty room." He said and winked at me.
"Excuse me. Newly weds I really need to get to the cafeteria." He said while holding his stomach, we waved him goodbye as he then enters the elevator.
Lia and I then looked at each other trying to surpress our laughs.
"Let's get going?" I whispered and right after we enter the next elevator Lia took my hand and held it, intertwining our fingers and I couldn't help but crack a smile. Gladly the elevator was empty and we rode it down keeping our hands together and our smiles wide.
After reaching the floor and before the door opens we broke off our hands and look if there's anyone in the vicinity. After seeing there are nobody close, Lia step off walking distantly from me. I then surprised her by grabbing her hand once more as we got close to the rehearsal room.
"I guess it's official?" I asked her and she smiled at me.
"We are dating." She answered.
I opened the door slowly and all of eyes draws towards us, ITZY's members as well as the choreographer's suddenly their jaws dropped. Me and Lia looked at them confusedly. It took me and Lia about a minute before realizing our hands are still intertwined. After realizing it we quickly retract both of our hands hiding them behind our backs. Trying to act normal.
"Explain!" Yeji yelled.
"I-. We..." My throat parched up unable to answer straight.
"We're dating!" Lia yelled everyone suddenly covers their mouths in shock.
"Is that why JYP suddenly called you unnie?" Ryujin asked and Lia nods in response.
"Hold on! Wait a minute! Did you just say you two are FREAKIN' DATING?!" C/N with his voice almost covering the whole practice room.
"Y-yeah but can you like tone your voice down a little bit." I pleaded.
We all decided to chat about it and as the group sat down. I settled next to Lia and everyone squealed. I can see Lia blushing as she lowers her head.
"I knew you two won't resist each other." Yeji said with a smirk.
"So, it's official that Mr. Y/N right here isn't single anymore. What a bummer." C/N said rolling her eyes making all of us laugh.
"B-but isn't Y/N-Oppa from U.S? Wouldn't that affect..." Chaeryeong asked.
"Actually. I've already applied for a permit since I'll be working here now." I said with a huge smile from ear to ear.
"Eh?" Yuna reacted.
"I'll be your manager from now on." I replied and all of them was in awe for a few seconds.
"REALLY?!" Ryujin asked and I just nodded confidently.
Suddenly all of them stood up and cheered but suddenly getting cut off by the practice room's door opening. It was one of the receptionist.
"Mr. Y/N?" I stood up in response to the call.
"Y-yes, I'm here." I replied.
"JYP-nim wants to see you." She said.
"O-okay." I then said goodbye to the girls and they all went on to continue practicing.
LIA POV
Heaves fill the room as we finished practicing and immediately trying to catch our breath. After a few more minutes. We've gathered ourselves with C/N-nim saying goodbye and leaving the practice room. I can feel all of the attentions shooting towards me. I turned to face my members only to see all of them having a teasing smile on their faces.
"Okay. What is it?" I asked with an annoyed tone.
"Nothing unnie. Just happy to see the new couple." Chaeryeong said.
"W-wait! They're not a couple yet." Yuna said and all of us shoot a look towards her.
"W-what do you mean?" I asked.
"Well have you two...?" Yuna then gestured a kiss with her hand, all of us are in shock at what she just did.
"That's not how that works." I replied.
"Well if you two haven't mwuah each other then you're not yet a couple." She claimed.
"That's what my auntie told me. That her childhood crush and her started dating but in 5 months they didn't kiss and they ended up breaking up with each other." She added and it made my eyebrows raised.
"That doesn't make sense Yuna. Just let her be unnie we're happy for you." Ryujin said gesturing for a group hug and everyone complied.
"Since Lia have a boyfriend now maybe we can get a little gift from him? Who wants some ice coffee?" Yeji whispered in the middle of the group hug.
"What?!" I reacted and they all giggled.
"Well it's a secret relationship right? If you don't want it to be on the news then buy us coffee." She said confidently.
"That's bribery." I replied and everyone is suppressing their laugh
"No, It's coffee!" Yeji replied and everyone bursted in laughter.
"Girls?" Y/N head peek inside the practice room drawing everyones attention.
"Who wants coffee?" Then every one excitedly jumped as they all agreed with me and I just shook my head as I approach Y/N.
Y/N POV
"You okay?" I asked Lia who's walking towards me and she seems bothered about something.
"A-ah. Yeah, just tired." She answered as she slowly reaches out for my hand and I retracted it. She looked at me with disappointment.
"Sorry, but we're going to the cafeteria and we might get caught." I said giving her a reassuring smile in which she replied with a weak smile.
I've gotten all of them their drinks and we decided to call it a day and go home but for some reason, I thought this day would be more of a bright day but instead, I can feel Lia's gloomy mood as soon as we entered the car. Even when I'm asking them regarding the practice she just mostly nods and a few low tone replies here and there.
Once we've reached their dorm. All of them immediately prepare for bed right after we had our dinner. With all of them finished their night routines and after giving them their schedules for tomorrow we all parted ways to our rooms. After a few stretches, I decided to flop down my bed until...
*knock knock*
I stood up and got to the door only for it to swing open and I catched it right before it hit my face.
"Omo, sorry, you took your time." Lia whispered.
"Are you okay? You seem out of it today." I replied she then threw herself towads me.
"Lia." I whispered and she just tightens the hug. She then suddenly starts pushing me towards the bed while still in my embrace. I fall down flat on my back with her on top of me.
She then lifted her head from my chest and locked eyes with me.
"L-lia?" I mumbled.
"Are we dating?" She suddenly asked.
"Y-yeah, JYP allowed it." I replied.
"Then... that means that we... we're a couple right?" She added.
"Y-yeah. Do you not want to?" I answered and she pouted and shook her head. 'This girls is so cute' I thought to myself.
She then closed her eyes and inches her face closer and closer towards me. 'Is she gonna kiss m-." I cut her off by laying her right beside me. She opened her eyes as a reaction from my gesture.
"Do you want to sleep here?" I asked her and she nodded.
"Are you really okay?" I asked once more and she lowered her head.
"Yuna said that we're not a official couple yet if we haven't kissed each other and we might break up soon." I chuckled at her response and she looked at me baffled.
"That's not true. Are you planning on breaking up with me soon?" I asked her and she shook her head aggressively.
"Then you don't have to worry about anything okay?" I reassured her and I can see a smile forming from the corner of her lips.
"I love you Lia! I'll make sure you'll feel it everyday." I said then pulling her into another hug.
"I love you too Y/N." She replied tightening the embrace.
"We're getting used to this aren't we?" I whispered as she nods.
"I'm not complaining. I love this feeling." She replied snuggling her head on my chest and I just chuckled in response.
"Lia." I whispered and she lifted her head from my chest and smile at me.
*kiss*
Lia's eyes went wide as I placed a kiss on her forehead.
"Good night." I said.
"Good night." She replied returning her head to my chest.
