Two Demons, Two Angels, A Fallen and The Young Lord
Ciel Phantomhive woke to a baritone but strangely cheerful voice. His eyes widened when a dark brunette baring a striking resemblance to Sebastian stood over him, "Good morning my lord!" Ciel looked at him confused, wondering briefly if Sebastian had changed his hair, however he noticed the man did not wear gloves and he had a contract seal that was somewhat similar to Sebastian's, but it was quite different. Ciel yelped then, "Wait! Who are you?! Where is Sebastian?!" The brunette chuckled, "Oh. Forgive me, I forgot that humans lose all memories of Hell upon crossing the barrier." He handed the boy a letter marked with Sebastian's contract seal and Aurora's oath seal. Ciel opened the letter and browsed through it.
My Lord,
Terribly sorry my lord, I hope Lukas didn't give you a fright this morning. Now allow me to explain, following mine and Aurora's wedding, we all departed to Hell (you accompanied of course as we could not leave you), the demon before you is my younger brother Lukas Michaelis. He is to serve as your temporary butler in my place. Also in your employ while my beautiful wife and I are away, you have my twin sister Ilia Michaelis. (And upon my lovely wife's insistence, her mother Lucia Laverne-Magne, and her two friends Amara Landers and Lucian Umbre).
There was a note from Aurora that interjected,
I pray for you're sanity, Ciel! :)
Ciel could almost hear Sebastian's baritone chuckle after that before he read on,
Anyways, the missus and I will be unavailable for the next few days. We will return by next week, however until then you have what is most likely the best of the best demons and angels in your employ. Please forgive our departure, and we will see you next week.
Sincerely,
Sebastian (& Aurora Michaelis)
Ciel groaned, "Oh... The wedding. Yes I remember that..." He frowned, "Pray for my sanity? What on earth do they mean by that-" He was cut off as there was a loud yell and a brown haired woman resembling Aurora entered, glaring at Lukas. "You idiot. You were supposed to wake him an hour ago!" Lukas Michaelis laughed, "Oh please! He is awake isn't he?! Besides- rest is good for the soul." The woman scoffed, "Clearly you know nothing about children." She walked over to Ciel and sat him up with a glare, "I can see that no good husband of my daughter's has raised you to be just like him. Lazy and ridiculous." Ciel made a face, "You're Aurora's mother. Sadly I can't see that family resemblance." Lucia Magne glared and Ciel gulped as her eyes glowed demonically. Ciel stared, "I thought Aurora was an angel?!" Lucia chuckled, "Oh she is. I was already a Fallen when I had her. Her father was an Arch. He is the one she takes after more. Clearly." Lukas shoved her aside, "I can raise a human child! You didn't even raise the lady!" Lucia snarled and left the room.
"Your schedule today is surprisingly open, my lord." Lukas Michaelis said, serving the boy his morning paper and a crepe. Ciel looked a little surprised, "Crepes?" Lukas nodded, "Yes. Lucia made them. They are Aurora's recipe, they should be to your liking." Ciel tasted it and shrugged, "It's alright. Aurora makes them much better though." Lucia Magne scoffed, "I followed her recipe to a tee..." Ciel shrugged, "Aurora has a talent in the kitchen. Even Sebastian eats her cooking. I've even seen him beg her for her to cook." Lukas chuckled, "My brother begging for human food? Surely you jest." The door to the room opened and Ilia came in wearing one of Aurora's maid uniforms. "I don't know how Aurora wears these things- they aren't very comfortable." Lukas snickered, "You just aren't used to wearing a corset, Ilia. You're thin as a rail." Ilia stuck her tongue out at her brother. Ciel sighed and shook his head. "How am I ever going to survive this?"
Meanwhile in Hell, Malphas Desideriis laid beside his new mate in their bed, his fingers threading through her hair as he hummed quietly. Angelica Desideriis was curled into his side, humming along as he played with her blonde tresses. Malphas had a sweet smile on his face and sighed contently, "Darling." Angelica hummed in response. "Yes, my love?" Malphas chuckled, "What say you to a dance or something nice?" Angelica yawned and sat up,, moving to face him with a warm smile, "What did you have in mind, mon cher?"
The demons of Castle Desideriis slunk back as their Lord and new Lady came down the hall, both finely dressed and laughing. Malphas was looking at his mate with a look of pure happiness as he lead her through the castle halls. Angelica was giggling, "Where are we going?" Malphas smirked, "You'll see."
Back at the chaos that was the Phantomhive Manor, Ciel was about to lose his mind. The manor, his manor- was in shambles. Even Mey-Rin, Bardroy, and Finnian combined didn't cause this much trouble! Ciel watched dejectedly as Ilia fought with Lucian, the two of them having been supposed to be his fencing instructors and tutors. Ciel sighed and walked out of the room wandering towards his office only to overhear a loud yell from the kitchen. He ran over and found Lukas smirking at Mey-Rin. "Oh you must be careful Miss Mey-Rin," Lukas was saying, "You could hurt yourself." Mey-Rin stammered, "I'm sorry- and you are?"
"Lukas Michaelis." Ciel said standing in the doorway. "He's Sebastian's younger brother." Lukas glared, "Not that much younger. I'm the second born son." Lukas smirked at the boy, "Shouldn't you be with Lucian and Ilia?" Ciel frowned, "They're a little occupied." Lukas chuckled, "Hmm. Of course. Come along young lord, I will continue your lessons." Ciel raised an eyebrow and Lukas snickered, holding up a pile of papers. "Don't worry, I know my brother's teaching methods. And I've got the entire lesson plan right here. Including Lady Aurora's notes." Ciel sighed, "Of course she would. Very well, come along then."
Angelica squealed as Malphas pulled her into a massive ball room. He grinned at her, "Might I have this dance, milady?" Angelica laughed and took his hand. "You may." Malphas lead his mate into a Viennese Waltz and Angelica sighed, "This is wonderful. We really need to do this more often." Malphas hummed, "Indeed. After my contract with the Earl we will have some time together." Angelica paused and frowned. "Some time?" She asked. "I'm sorry, I do not follow." Malphas explained, "Well- a demon is generally always hungry. But considering I have not eaten a meal in centuries, I'm hoping the Earl's soul will fill me up a bit." His mate looked upset, "So... How long would you be gone?" She asked. Malphas shrugged, "It depends. Some contracts take a matter of seconds. Others can take a full human lifetime." Angelica gasped and put her hands to her mouth. "A human life time?!" She exclaimed, "But- but that means-" Malphas quickly moved to soothe her, "Darling! It won't be long, time passes differently in Hell. For the young master we are gone for a long weekend, for us we have a week or two." Angelica clung to him, tears in her eyes. "You cannot leave me while you go on a contract!" She cried. "I can't live without you! Do you know how long that will be for me?!" Malphas shushed her and kissed her, "Angelica, my darling, my angel, my love, my mate- It will be fine. It is rare for contracts to last that long." He smiled and cupped her face, "Besides, when I have free time I promise I will write. And on occasion perhaps you can come and visit me." Angelica sighed, "Promise?" She began to melt into his arms and he smiled lovingly, pecking her on the lips. "Promise, my angel."
Ciel was listening to Lukas drone on and on about something about history. Ciel was beyond bored, and he could tell the other demon himself was bored as he read the paper.
"The beheading of the six wives.... blah, blah, blah, divorced, beheaded, died, divorced beheaded, survived..." He suddenly put the papers down and yawned. "How long have we been doing this?" Lukas asked. Ciel glanced at the clock. "Thirty minutes." Lukas groaned, then looked at the boy. "We can skip the lessons. As long as you study something and don't tell Sebastian I let you skip your schooling." Ciel smirked, "You have a deal. But I will request one thing." The earl's eyes narrowed, "Control your companions. I don't want my manor destroyed in just a weekend." Lukas chuckled and bowed, in a similar fashion to that of Sebastian.
"Yes, my lord."
There was a loud crash late that night and Ciel groaned, rubbing his eyes and then rolling over in his bed that night. They were too loud. He heard the clashing of swords and guttural demonic growls. Ciel groaned and pulled his pillow over his head. He wished Sebastian and Aurora were here.
Malphas had his mate on his arm, the two of them wandering throughout the castle. Angelica had a sweet smile on her face as she rested her head on her mate's shoulder. She sighed, cuddling into him. "This almost doesn't feel real..." She murmured. Malphas chuckled, "I assure you my love, it is." He pulled her close, stopping in his footsteps and pulling her to her chest looking down at her with a smile. His fingers twirled through her hair, caressing the blonde locks. Angelica hummed, wrapping her arms around him and holding him close. "I love you." Malphas chuckled, "And I you, my dear." He tugged her to his side and lead her to one of the balconies overlooking the Second Circle. Angelica sighed, "I never knew Hell could be so beautiful." She giggled, "It makes Heaven look incredibly dull." Malphas laughed, "Yes. I suppose it does." He smiled and held her hand. "You and I." He said, "At long last." Angelica smiled, "You and I. For all eternity." Malphas pulled her close and kissed her. He smiled and cupped her face, "I've waited centuries, Angelica. Centuries to call you mine." He kissed her again. "And now you finally are." His mate laughed, "Malphas- Mon cher, I have always been yours." Malphas hummed and lifted her hand to his mouth, pressing a kiss to the back of her hand. "True. But now you are mine for life." He held her close, "Legally binding of course." His mate released a small giggle, "Either way I'm yours." Malphas smirked, "And I am yours." His hand crept downwards and his mate grasped his hand, "As much as I love having sex with you, Malphas, I'm a little tired of it." Malphas looked shocked, "Tired?" He repeated, "Of sex? With me?" Angelica laughed, "Don't freak out over it, it's just I'd rather do things with you to." Malphas smiled, "Oh? What kinds of things?" His mate sighed and looked at him playfully, "Oh you and I are going to be hated so much after we're done." Malphas looked a little concerned before she grabbed him by the hand and pulled him inside.
Angelica grinned at him pulling him into the hall, giggling at the confused look on his face. "Angelica! What are we doing?" He asked hesitantly. His mate was still giggling as she conjured a pair of bracelets. "Tell me you don't remember this game?! We used to play it all the time!" Malphas's eyes glittered in recognition and he smirked, "I remember quite well my dear, this was your favorite game." Angelica giggled and pecked his lips. "Mhmm! So come on! Won't you play with me?" Malphas licked his lips and pulled her into his arms, grinning as she laughed as he lifted her up, pulling her legs around his waist. "My dearest mate, I would love to play this game with you."
Ciel was about ready to bash his head into a wall. He called in Lucia Magne after lunch had been a disaster, Ilia and Lucian starting yet another sword fight and absolutely butchering the garden (and making poor Finny cry because he'd worked so hard on it).
"Did you need something, little lord?"
The Fallen asked the boy. Ciel sighed, "Yes. I want you to find out when Sebastian and Aurora are coming back. I want them back as soon as possible." Lucia chuckled, "You would deprive them of their honeymoon? My, how cruel." Ciel hissed, "I've had it! I can't take it anymore!" Lucia chuckled, "Yes. I know. They are meant to return tomorrow morning, but I can send word you wish them home as soon as possible if you desire." Ciel nodded, "Yes. Do that straight away." Lucia chuckled leaving, "I can see why my daughter wishes you were her son. You are the spitting image of her and Malphas."
Angelica and Malphas were in their room on their last day in Hell. Malphas held his mate close, a glass of wine at hand. The two of them were dancing in the ball room of the castle and drinking. Malphas spun his new mate around when Avem came to call. "Lord Malphas? He has arrived." Malphas paused his dancing with his mate and frowned. "Already?" He inquired. "Strange, he was not due back for another week or two." He looked at his mate, "Wait here, darling." Angelica frowned and grabbed his arm. "Malphas? What is it? Why can I not come with you?" Malphas sighed, cupping her face in his hand. "Darling. Please. I will just be a moment." He kissed her, but before he could pull away there was a chuckle. "Ah. So the rumours are indeed true, your highness." Malphas turned and gently pushed his mate behind him. "Yes." Malphas said. "I have a new mate." The demon chuckled, "Come now, you know I would not harm what belongs to you. And certainly not the Lady Of Desideriis." Angelica frowned, "Malphas, who is he?" Before her mate could answer, the demon was bowing before her, "Ah. Allow me to introduce myself, my lady." He smiled, "I am known as Cassian Branwen. The secret service if you will for Lord Malphas. If there is an issue, I rid of it. I fix it." He chuckled darkly, "And as you are his mate, my services apply to you as well, my fair lady." He smiled slyly, "So please, if there is anyone you wish hunted down and... exterminated.... Please, inform me and I shall take care of it." Angelica stared at the demon and Malphas chuckled, "Cass. You're scaring her. Quit with the formalities and demonic charm." Cassian stood and smiled, "Of course, Mal. Whatever you say." Angelica's eyes widened. "I'm sorry- did he just call you-?" Malphas sighed, "I've told you to stop calling me that." Cassian chuckled, "I'll call you what I want, Mal. Mally. M. Crow. Corvus..." Malphas sighed, "What is your report, Branwen?" Cassian chuckled, "The demons of the seventh circle are growing restless as are the sinners that roam free throughout the realm. The fights grow worse with each passing day, my lord. Since the death of the Countess Leviathan and her mate, the fifth circle has been chaos since the Marquis Naberius took over." Malphas frowned, "Continue." Cassian looked at the demon lord, "My lord. I fear a war is coming. The demon wars that have been recent have not yet reached us in the Second Circle, but the fifth is binding with the lesser ninth." Angelica frowned, "I thought there were only seven circles of Hell?" She asked. Malphas nodded, "Seven are the ones ruled by demons. Nine is the full total. The other two are warzones. Circles eight and nine are reserved for wars. And it is where the uncontrollable demons are." he frowned, "It also where the Lilum keep." He looked at Cassian once more, "Things are as bad as you say, Cassian?" Cassian nodded, "It was difficult for even I to escape my lord." Malphas sighed, "Then we have no choice." His eyes darkened, "Cassian. This is an order. Bring the demonesses of the Lilum to one of the other circles if they are even failing." he grit his teeth, "I cannot be here as I am on a contract. So any further information must be given to my father." Cassian bowed, "Yes, sir." Malphas frowned, "See yourself to Prince Stolas. He can mend your wounds." He looked back to his new mate who looked concerned. "Malphas-" Malphas kissed her. "Do not worry about it. This is a usual occurrence. I have dealt with this many times before." He smiled, "Besides, my father will be keeping things under control. He is the former Crow. I have no doubts everything will be fine, Angelica." He pulled her into his arms, "Now come, dance with me."
A/N: A little bit of Hell Lore in this one. I plan on adding more Lore as the story continues.
