"Mia you have to put your weight into the punch" he says while repositioning my body
"I know I know but it's hard" I say
"Well I want you to know how to defend yourself" he says
"Now go again"
"Eli, do you think it'll get worse..?" I say looking down
"Mia as long as I'm here, I'll do everything in my power to make sure it won't get worse" he says
"Friends forever?"
"Friends forever"
Present time
Before either one of us can say anything I run into his arms and hug him.
"What the hell are you doing here you're supposed to be dead!" I say
"Wait Elijah taught you to fight ?" Dante asks
"Wait do you know them?" Eli asks
"Everyone stop talking, Amelia and Elijah how do you know each other" Enzo asks
"When I lived in California, Eli was my best friend until 2 years ago when I thought he died " I say glaring at him
"Why the hell did you think I was dead" he asks
"Well you disappeared one day out of nowhere, and when I went to ask your mom about you she opened the door crying and screaming that you were gone" I say
"That's because my dad made me come live with him" he says
"Ohh, wait how do you know these idiots?" I ask
Eli then scratches the back of his head and turns to Mateo
"Go head she knows" Mateo says
"My dad and I work for them, I'm the eyes and ears at the school, and I also occasionally help them with other jobs" he says
"How do you know them?" He asks
"Funny story.. turns out my full birth name is Amelia Rosaline Valentino, and not Amelia Marie Little." I say
"Wait, you're the Valentino princess. I should've known, I mean you look just like them.. especially your dad" he says
My dad. I haven't really thought about him.
My mom told me he died four years after I was born, but right now I'm having a hard time believing that
"Well Mathews-" Luca starts to say
"Wait YOUR Mathews" I yell
"Yeah when I moved back with my dad he made me change my last name to his" Eli says
"So I played against you yesterday, huh I knew the playing style seemed familiar" I say with a slight smirk
"Huh nothing gets past you moo-moo" he says with his own smirk present
"I'm sorry... Moo-moo?" Luca asks tumbling over in laughter
"Yeah I've been calling her moo-moo ever since we've met" Eli says while pinching my cheeks
"Ehhh cut it out" I say while slapping his hands away
"Well we better get going" Dante says
"Oh and Elijah by the way I had your schedule changed so now you can eat lunch with the T-Z portion of the alphabet" Mateo says
"Awesome we can have lunch together now Mia" Eli says while picking me up.
This time we took one of the trucks to school since we had Eli riding with us and I of course sat in the front again.
"Please dont get into anymore fights today" Dante says as we drive to the school
"Whatever" I say as I continue to read my book
"Wow Mia, after all these years you're still a book nerd" Eli says with a snort
"Eli... I will stab you don't test my patience" I say while still reading my book
"Dude you're actually scared of her" Alex says when he notices Eli shuts up
"Bro, she's fucking scary. She'll actually stab me for fun. One time she broke my arm 'on accident ' but I know it was on purpose because she was bored" he says in a whisper so I won't hear him
"First of all, I heard that and second of all it was an accident.. for the most part" I say while muttering that last part
"HEY" Eli yells
"Okay everyone get the hell out of my car"

After about 3 hours of class, I finally headed to lunch.
I'm guessing since today is my second day my teachers have decided to start hitting me full force with homework.
Once I got to lunch I looked for Eli and he was at a table with Thea, Rylee, and some other people
"Hey, Mia!" Eli says while scooting over
"You know Amelia?" Rylee asks
"Yea we've been best friends for years" he says while putting an arm around my shoulders
"Yup "

After school, I was swamped with homework so Elijah came over and we did some of our homework together
"Are you excited for your ball next week" Eli asks
" wait you know about that?" I ask while looking up from my English work
"Well yeah, I'm actually gonna be there, and about 100 other men from the mafia for extra protection" he says
"Oh my gosh" I say
"Well get excited moo-moo, it's your first real birthday since you've been back" he says
"You know not to change the subject or anything, but the entire time I've been here the boys never questioned me about not remembering anything. I mean I was 4 when I left so you'd think I'd remember something but I don't remember anything at all. And they never made any assumptions about me remembering them." I finish off by saying
"Hmm, that is kinda weird."

One week later
"Amelia Rosaline Valentino, Let's go!" Mateo yells
"Sheesh I'm sorry I didn't know what to pack, I've never been to Italy before ya know" I say sarcastically while bringing down a huge suitcase that I managed to find.
"Huh? You were born in Italy.. all of us were. And you didn't need to pack anything, I was planning on having someone take you shopping because you need to get clothes for the Sicily house" he says
"Wait what?" I say
"Well we go to Italy pretty often, at least once a month and we always stay for a little more than a week, so everyone keeps a bunch of clothes at the Sicily houses. The only time we pack is when we're going to any of the other houses because we don't have many clothes there" he says
" so you're telling me I did all this packing for nothing" I say while letting go of the suitcase
"Pretty much" Luca says while walking out of the house with his school backpack and a sandwich
About 30 minutes later we make it to the airport and we get on the private jet that they own
They have more money than they know what to do with
After flying for about 16 hours we finally make it to Italy.
While still on the jet, I look outside and I see just how beautiful it is, the part of Italy that we are from is Sicily so there are many mountains
"Beautiful isn't it" Enzo says as he sits beside me
"Yeah it really is"
