I'm done with editing the other story and I'm now fully-ish focused on this one. I'm dedicating this chapter to Jonnie4Life for suggesting that I should make the sleepover a tradition and NityaAuthor who suggested I do a flashback instead of a narration. And y'all thanks for reading and your votes so here's the next chapter.
It's been two days since the sleepover and the incident and Jay and Lonnie hadn't talked about it yet.
Flashback
At the sleepover
Despite Mal and Ben's plan, the sleepover over was still crowded but it wasn't as much as last time.
Sam kept flirting with Jane either because he liked her or to annoy Carlos or both
Jay made sure to keep Lonnie with him at all time while Zevon studied Lonnie but from afar.
"Okay so what should we do?" Ben asked
"How about we play 7mintues in hell?" Zevon asked.
"I'm too scared to ask." Ben whispered to Mal.
"That game is uh how do I put this too extreme for Auradonians but we can play 7mintues in heaven." Evie said.
"What is that? You tickle each other for 7mintues?" Zevon asked.
"Honestly that's what I thought too." Uma said.
It's like this you spin a bottle and whoever the bottle lands on, you and that person gets locked in a closet for about 7mintues but since we are so many let's do 4mintues. You guys can talk and do whatever and usually when a boy and a girl gets put in the closet, they kiss." Ben explained.
"Okay change of plans then." Zevon thought
Then they sat in a circle and started playing Ben and Evie went in first. the rest of them started talking amongst themselves.
After 4mintues Gil had a turn and it landed on Freddie and then Uma and Sam had a turn before they went on a little break but without Zevon. After they came back Zevon had a turn and it 'surprisingly' landed on Lonnie.
"Well would you look at that." Zevon said.
"No!" Jay said firmly.
"No what?" Zevon asked.
"She's not getting in there with you." Jay said.
"But that's the game." Zevon said
"That doesn't matter I said no." Jay said
"You don't get to speak for her you know. She is a person not an object." Zevon said.
"Jay he spun the bottle and it landed on Lonnie. She gotta do it it's the game." Mal said.
"Unless she doesn't want to." Jane said.
"Cause she's scared." Zevon added
"I'm not scared. Let's do this." Lonnie said because she was definitely not backing out of the challenge.
Jay gave her a disapproving look but she couldn't care less her ego was on the line.
So they both got into the wardrobe and without hesitation or warning, Zevon kissed her.
She immediately pushed Zevon off and wiped her mouth. "what the hell?"
Zevon was confused on why she was acting that way. "Isn't this the game?"
"No!" Lonnie exclaimed.
"But Ben said when a girl and a boy enter the closet they kiss." Zevon said.
"Yeah usually as in when they both like each other." Lonnie said angrily.
"Oh." Zevon said in realization.
"Yeah I accept your apology and you're welcome." Lonnie said sarcastically.
"Okay." Zevon said
Lonnie groaned in frustration and Zevon couldn't help but smile at her frustration.
"Okay so what else are we supposed to do?" Zevon asked her.
"Keep your hands to yourself and stay as far away from me as possible." Lonnie said getting angry.
"Ooh looks like you got quite the temper." Zevon said teasingly
Before Lonnie could retort, the closet door flew open and Jay was the one who opened it.
"That's four minutes done." Jay said.
"Really that felt like 30seconds." Zevon said making Jay to glare at him before looking at Lonnie to see if she was hurt or anything.
After Zevon and the others were occupied with their own things, Jay asked Lonnie what Zevon did to her.
She explained that he kissed her only because he misunderstood the game. That it was nothing else
End of flashback
Jane was getting ready to go on a studying (more like date) session with Carlos.
"How do I look?" Jane asked Lonnie
She was wearing a baby blue short off shoulder gown.
"Great." Lonnie said.
"You hesitated I'm changing." Jane said.
"Jane seriously you look great and besides you guys are only going to do homework." Lonnie said.
"Are you sure it looks good?" Jane asked.
"Well do you like it?" Lonnie asked her.
"I don't know." Jane said
"Jane I'm not the one wearing it so my say shouldn't matter as much. If you love it and feel comfortable in it then wear it. other people's opinion don't matter." Lonnie said.
"Okay thanks let me just get my bow real quick." Jane said as she went to the bathroom.
Someone knocked on the door and Lonnie went to get it.
"Hey there snowman." Lonnie greeted Carlos insultingly
"Hello Brienne of Tarth." Carlos said in the same insulting tone as hers.
That was how there relationship was. They always insult each other every slightest chance they get. But of course they don't mean it.
"Hmm Jane is getting ready. I want her back before 5 slushie. I'll be keeping my sword sharpened.
Carlos involuntarily gulped.
Jane seeing the exchange came to her boyfriend's rescue.
"Hey Lonnie can I talk to you for a second?" Jane asked.
"Sure." Lonnie said as she gave Carlos the 'im watching you' signal before closing the door so she could talk to Jane.
"Why do you torture my boyfriend?" Jane asked.
"It's what siblings do and as your unofficial sister it's my job to torture your boyfriend. Besides he knows I'm just kidding." Lonnie said.
"We are talking about the same person right?" Jane asked.
"Oh yeah right. Dude can be really oblivious sometimes." Lonnie said.
"But you gotta admit it's cute." Jane said.
"Not in the slightest." Lonnie said.
"Now go on your date." Lonnie said.
"It's not a date." Jane said.
"Sure." Lonnie said sarcastically as she slightly pushed Jane toward the door.
"Have fun. Do anything to her and I'll chop your head off frostbutt." Lonnie said.
After they were gone, Lonnie decided to go look for Jay so they could just hangout.
So she took a really short shower and then put on her outfit.
Then she went to look for Jay. She couldn't help but feel like someone was watching her.
It made her to be on defense mode.
"Hey." Someone said as he placed his hand on her shoulder from behind and from instinct she grabbed the person's wrist and flipped him over her shoulder.
Before she realized that it was Jay.
Jay groaned in pain on the floor. "Why do I keep forgetting that my girlfriend is a mobster killing machine."
"Are you okay?" Lonnie asked as she helped him up
"A bit. I mean you just flipped me over your shoulder." Jay said pouting a bit.
Lonnie rolled her eyes and kissed him. "Much better?" She asked.
Jay nodded.
"So what's up?" Lonnie asked him.
"Oh well I fixed us a surprise date and I was just about to go get you from your dorm." Jay said
That was a first. Jay never planned surprise date ever.
"Sure let me just go change." Lonnie said.
"Why you look perfect." Jay said.
"You'd say that even if I was wearing a trash bag." Lonnie said.
"Because it's true." Jay said.
"Well I'm still going to change." Lonnie said.
"No you're not." Jay says as he scoops Lonnie and flings her on his shoulder carrying her.
"Jay put me down." Lonnie said blushing furiously.
"Nope let me carry you to the venue." Jay said as he carried Lonnie.
Lonnie normally would have found a way to get out of his grip but as much as she wouldn't admit it, she liked it.
They finally got to a lake and then Jay put Lonnie down. She awed at the sight.
"Wow Carlos is really rubbing off on you. What's the occasion?" Lonnie asked.
"Nothing just wanted to spend some time with my girlfriend. And I wanted to fulfil my promise and tell you why Zevon hates me but first you gotta promise me you won't get mad." Jay said.
"I promise." Lonnie said.
