It was a long trip to where Olin said his family was the Spurflints southeast from Merdian. Since Aloy's device was charged, she was able to get a Broadhead with bull-like horns.

Aloy: "Hey Jin! Do you wanna race?"

Jin: "Really? I just now got on this and you want to race."

Aloy: "What? Scared you might lose."

Jin: "No, I just don't to lower your self-esteem. It might prove I'm the best rider."

They positioned the machine side by side with an invisible line marking the start.

Aloy: "Ready... Set... Go!"

The Strider and Broadhead kicked dirt from behind as they took off into a full gallop. They raced across the lands and through various regions like rocky hills and lush forests. With them encountering machines but they gave no mind as they were racing.

Even though they traveled far, the machines never grew tired but the ride started to make their behinds ache. They finally made it to the Spurflints where Olin was standing against a rock formation protruding out like a horn. Olin could see them riding those machines as they got off and walked towards him.

Olin: "Aloy! You're a woman of your word!"

Aloy: "Olin. Your family - I saw the threat from Helis. You have a wife and young boy?"

Olin: "If I'd striven to keep them safe, instead all of done -"

Aloy: "This is your chance, Olin. That's why we're here."

Jin: "We will help you whenever we can."

Olin: "I'll take it. A kinder deal was never struck."

Jin: "Where are they now?"

Olin: "Yes, at a farmstead just beyond these rocks. I'll take you."

He led them to the location as they trailed behind him.

Olin: "Can I ask for your name?'

Jin: "Jin. I've been accompanying Aloy for some time now."

Olin: "You must be some type of warrior. I saw the way you killed those guys."

Aloy: "Hey let's hurry before anything else happens."

Jin: "Yes."

They jogged across small dunes and tall grass where they stopped next to a rock. They crouched together as the farmstead was in view.

Olin: "So this is it. I can't bear being so close and..."

Aloy: "It's almost over."

Jin: "We should discuss what to do."

With careful planning, Olin's family can be saved. He revealed how many Eclipse soldiers are and where they're posted. Aloy then asked him what would be his strategy but he dismissed it. Jin came up with two either they charge head-on or sneak to the side of the ridge. Either way, Olin wanted to know if he would be able to fight with them. It would be good for them to have another weapon behind them. Aloy agreed as did Jin so now they proceeded to the farmstead.

Aloy went o the right where she would be upon the ledges while Jin and Olin marched to the front. Jin put on his Ghost mask as they entered the place where every Eclipse soldier focused on them. Jin used his katana to deflect any oncoming arrow as Aloy attacked soldiers near a house where Olin's family was being held.

Jin was able to use his Stone and Wind stance against the uncoordinated soldiers. They were quickly killed by Jin's katana with swift, fluid strikes. Olin had killed a few with his Oseram spear. The battle was quick with the Eclipse soldiers being eliminated as Jin finished the last one. He jerked the blood off from his katana downward. One of the dead bodies had a key that unlocked the door to the building inside the farmstead. Aloy opened it and there was the family huddled together in a corner.

As to not scare them Jin puts his mask away when he first meets them.

Olin: "Oh my wife, my child. Aloy, Jin, I owe you three debts deep."

Enasha: "Thank the sun, you found us!"

Olin: "I found... someone who had the courage I hoped for in myself. It's them who deserve your gratitude."

Olin's wife looked at the two before her. A Nora girl with red hair and a man in dark armor is unlikely pairs.

Olin: "I've much to confess. I accepted a devil's bargain, and others paid the price."

Enasha: "And you think I don't know? I heard them talk."

Olin: "I know there's always been dirt on my hands. Now there's blood too."

Enasha: "Take your son up in those hands. Come back to the Claim with us."

Aloy: "You should listen to your wife, Olin."

Olin: "But Helis, Zion, and his demons -- I'm honor-bound to help you guys. With what little honor a dicer like me has--"

Jin: "You shouldn't waste that on us. You have your family now."

Aloy: "Show them your a better man now."

Olin: "Farewell, Aloy, Jin. Your mother... I hope you find her before they do."

A family united, at last, it's these moments like these that Aloy and Jin are willing to help anyone. Although Jin wanted to know so he stopped for a second.

Jin: "Actually could you go on Aloy. I want to speak to Olin for a moment."

Aloy: "Ok. I'll be at the entrance waiting."

She left Jin with Olin and his family. Olin was surprised and wonder what He wanted.

Olin: "Was it, Jin?"

Jin: "You mentioned early about the Eclipse's leaders. Helis and Zion."

Olin: "Yes those two. Helis is the one calling most of the shots but his brother is a different man."

Jin: "Can you tell me about him?"

Olin explained that Zion was more of a warlord than his brother. Even though they belong in the same cult. Zion had his own followers or his army. He is the one who has planted bandit camps all over from the Carja Sundom to the Nora Sacred lands. Olin mentioned he was the one behind most of the slave-trading by using them for labor or other things. All of this sounded too familiar to Jin.

Enasha; "That man is scum. He even came here to boast about what would've happened to me if you were dead."

Olin: "That bastard. I believe he is the worst out of the two. He even terrorizes every single tribe and puts his minions to work to get what he wants."

Jin: "Zion, a leader with his own army, striking fear among the many, bandit camps across the lands, and doesn't care who he hurts. This man is dangerous from what you're saying his power is on the rise."

Olin: "Of course. I even heard disputes he and his brother get into. But that's all I know and I would rather stay away from him."

Jin: "Thank you for the info. I see what I can do about this man. Until then stay safe."

He gave a bow then a handshake between him and Olin. He walked out of the building and to where Aloy was. Jin was reminded of Khotal Khan and some similarities they had. Deep down something was going to happen that left him a bit uneasy. Aloy saw him approaching and how his expression meant he was thinking.

Aloy: "Jin, You alright?"

Jin: "Yes, it's just I learned something about those people Olin was talking about."

Aloy: "Right. Today was crazy but I'm glad we did the right thing. Now we need to go see Erend but before we do that. There's something I what to do real quick."

Jin pondered at what she meant as they whistled for their machines.

Jin: "I hope it's a quick break. It seems we would be traveling far again."

Aloy: "My Focus has been getting a signal when we came here. So follow me."

She later explained that the signal was coming from a Tallneck. That machine was able to help Aloy expand the area around her. This helps her find new machines and any cauldrons to override them. If it helps her then Jin wouldn't mind seeing what she can do. They rode to the Tallneck's location as Jin saw the towering machines walking around a small lake.

An enduring thing to watch as Aloy ran through the machine-invested waters. Then the Tallneck would walk by a cliff where Aloy jump onto it. Jin saw her climb up and to the top that looked like a flat hat. Its head started to spark in electric sparks then Aloy jumped and used her grapple to repel down. A shockwave of electricity immobilized the machines around the area. She sprinted to where Jin was in a hurry while out of breath.
