The Awakening
i command my ears not to take in your heavenly voice.
Knowing that i must be on guard at all times.
I can still feel you in my dreams, haunting me with your wildest of kisses.
Your Arms, with the comfort and warmth, exploring me to unconsciousness.
For i dare not open my eyes to see your taunting smile or seriousness.
Your lips touching mine, the longing for this moment is now more than i could
ever ask for.
There is no dream which would enable me describe such a feeling,
but only by the truth of reality which always yearns for more.
