"Cere baby you should slide over to Juices house," Kayla said once their FaceTime call connected.

"Damn no hi, hey, how are you?" Sincere playfully questioned.

"My bad," Kayla laughed.

"Yeah I'll slide who all over there," She questioned before getting in her car.

She just got from checking on her grandparents. Before her brother died she would usually try to do it one every once or twice every week.

Once Seven died she stop doing it but now she was starting to get back into her routine of things.

"The whole gang basically ohh and Lay,"

"Alright I'm on my way," She said hanging up.

As soon as she started her car, Sincere phone dinged. Once she unlocked her phone she saw she had a message from Jay.

Jay: heyyy friend🙃
: wassam
Jay: can you stop by Chick-fil-A and get me my usual.
: fashoo I gotcha

Over the last two to three months Jay grew on Sincere, Kayla did also. Sincere didn't like many people but she felt like the group of people she had been hanging with, was okay.

Sincere made sure her bluetooth was connected before she pulled off from in front of her grandparents house. Sincere huffed once she noticed that she was low on gas. She just decided that she was going to stop and get some before she went to Chick-fil-A.

She clicked on her rap playlist and allowed Toosii song Back Together, to flow through her speakers.

"Mann why everybody need gas when I need gas," Sincere sighed as she pulled into the gas station.

The gas station was filled with different types of muscle cars. The cars ranged from Camaro's, Challengers and Mustangs. Sincere even noticed a red Corvette parked by the entrance.

If Sincere didn't know anything, she knew about cars. That's why her major was computer science. She wanted to work on developing different technology for cars. And work on advancing car technology.

Sincere slightly jumped when she hear a horn blowing. Looking back she a car behind her, waiting for her to move.

Her mind told her to stick her middle finger at the car but she knew she was in the wrong.

The last past few months Sincere would get into deep day dreams or disconnect from the world. She knew that it wasn't normal for her to disconnect but she didn't think it was serious enough to go get it seen about.

Once she found an open gas pump Sincere grabbed her card on got out the car. Sincere felt eyes on her which caused her to try and find the gaze but she didn't find nothing.

Sincere could feel when someone's staring at her so she wasn't going to shake the feeling off.

But she did need gas.

Placing her card in the chip at the pump, she entered the amount of forty dollars before she began to pump gas into her car.

As the gas pumped Sincere couldn't help wonder how different it would be if her parents her here.

Well her dad because she could live without her mom. Sincere and her mother never really got along, for some odd reason Jasmine treated her different from her brother.

When her dad wasn't around Jasmine would say so much degrading things to Sincere. Now when her dad was around it was only sly remarks that left her mother's mouth.

When Sincere was younger it would be verbal and physical abuse but as she got older it was just the verbal abuse.

It was easy to hide the marks and scars from her father because her mother made sure Desmond never bathe Sincere, or she would make Sincere wear long clothing. On top of that her dad was out most of the time.

Sincere knew that if her dad would have never left, she wouldn't have had to went through the struggles of raising her brother.

Yeah sincere could have left her brother with her grandparents but at the time her grandparents had a lot on their plate.

They never once complained about having to take care of Seven but Sincere could see it was wearing them down.

As result she did what any big sister would do, and that was to take care of her little brother. All Sincere could do was work with what she had.

Before Sincere got the apartment she asked her grandma if she could stay in her parents house but her grandmother told her no and proceeded to sell the house.

Her parents house was payed for so she would have only been paying the utility bills.

"Hey uhh Sincere?" Looking up Sincere saw a tall guy walking towards her. As he got closer she was able to see who he was.

"Hey Ra, how you been?" She questioned, placing gas pump back into the machine.

Ra was Sevens best friend, he was with him the night he died.

"Could be better. I just miss him you know," He smiled sadly. Sincere couldn't help but pity Ra, he was always the goofy and funny one but she didn't see the same glint in his eyes as before.

She knew Sevens death impacted Ra also because him and Seven had been friends since the sand box days.

"Uhh same," Sincere cleared her throat before speaking up again. "I guess we just have to hold onto the memories of him. He may not be with you in human form but his spirit is still with us," She said pulling him into a hug.

"If you ever need anything don't hesitate to stop by," She added pulling away from the hug.

"I will keep that in mind," He smiled before walking away.

Sincere let out a small sigh before getting back in her car.

She couldn't help but wonder if Ra had any information on who shot her brother. The police ruled her brothers death as gang related and the case was close.

Sincere wanted the person who killed her brother to go to jail but she also knew that Seven getting shot was because of him selling drugs.

Sincere pulled off once she saw that her phone was connected to the Bluetooth.

"Mhmm," Sincere hummed handing Jay his bag of food. Everybody was at Juice house as usual.

Ivy and juice was laid up together. Ivy looked like she was sleeping. Jay and Leeky was sitting by one another. Kayla and Reese was sitting together.

Closely together at that. Sincere peeped but she kept to herself.

And Kobe was sitting by himself so Sincere had no choice to sit by him.

"Thank you," Jay replied before he started eating his food.

"Now how that go you only get food for him," Leeky spoke up.

Sincere didn't bother to speak up because she wasn't really in the best mood. It wasn't that she was mad or anything, she's just been in her mind since earlier.

"Ooo now you can't hear," He joked.

"Shut the fuck up dude," Kobe mugged. He noticed that Sincere wasn't really up to talk to nobody.

Sincere didn't even hear what Leeky said she put leaned her head on Kobe. Her sudden action let everybody know that she wasn't feeling it.

"I'm just saying. How she only gonna bring one person food,"

"I asked her that's why, you just don't know when to shut the fuck up," Jay said growing agitated.

"Yeah man it don't even gotta be all this just be quiet," Juice spoke up also. Juice was the quiet and peaceful friend.

"Mann y'all need to calm down I only asked a questioned. She the one sitting up there not answering a nigga," He shrugged.

"Leeky just be quiet because she not even paying you no mind," Kayla huffed.

"Whatever," He mumbled taking his phone out.

Everybody attention turned back towards what they were doing before or either they started talking amongst each other.

"You good?" Kobe asked knocking Sincere out her trance.

"Umm yeah," She sighed.

"Mhmmm," He hummed not believing her.

"Come on," He tapped her thigh.

"Huh?" She answered not sure if she heard right.

"Come on," Kobe repeated. Sincere didn't fight it she just got up.

"Where y'all going?" Leeky questioned.

"Mind your fucking business," Kobe mugged before taking Sincere's hand and intertwining the two.

"Probably fucking," Leeky mumbled but Kobe heard him.

"Stop playing with me like real shit," Kobe warned, growing agitated.

By now mostly everybody's attention was turned to Kobe and Leeky.

Kobe saw Kayla looking at him with a confused expression. "We gonna be back," He answered before they walked out the house.

"Where we going?" Sincere questioned following him to a all white Jaguar.

"This is a..." Sincere trailed off getting in the car. She was trying to pin point the model of the car. "It's a Jaguar XF right," Kobe nodded not sure how she knew that.

"Yeah I got it a few months back," He informed, starting his car up.

"How you knew that," He questioned but onto got a shrug in response.

"Lucky guess," She shrugged not wanting to share her obsession of cars with him.

"Where are we going?" She asked once again.

Just sit back," He mumbled turning his radio up.

Sincere complied and laid her head on the window.

"I know this girl did not just fall alseep," She heard as her eyes fluttered open.

"Wake your ass up." Kobe yelled, bringing his face down to her level.

"Get the fuck back with your hot ass breath," She mumbled, pushing his head back.

"Shut up because you know my breath don't smell," He frowned.

"And stop hitting me," He added rubbing his head.

"Where we at boy," She questioned looking out the car. Taking in the scenery Sincere noticed that they were back at Juices house.

"Boy where the hell did you take me," Sincere questioned. She didn't understand why he made her come with him if they were going to come back to Juice house it didn't make sense.

"I guess we'll never know," He shrugged while Sincere straight faced him.

"I'm just playing," He said letting out a small laugh.

"But no seriously I just went get us some food and you fell asleep on the way there," He informed pulling out the Chick-fil-A bags from the back seat.

"I didn't know what to get you so I just brought you a chicken sandwich meal, some nuggets, and a lemonade," He added.

"Thank you," She replied grabbing her food from out his hands.

"What was wrong with you earlier," He questioned before taking a bite out his sandwich.

"Nothing wasn't feeling good," She lied. She really didn't feel like talking about the truth at the moment.

"You lying but okay," He shrugged making her suck her teeth.

"How are you going to tell me I was lying," She questioned.

"Because I know you are," He shrugged, while putting a fry in his mouth.

"Whatever you say Kobe," She waved him off getting agitated.

"Why the fuck you getting so defensive," He mugged.

"A nigga was just checking on you but I should've just mined my business," He sighed in defeat.

"You should've," She mumbled getting out the car.

"Nasty ass attitude, that's why I'm gonna eat your food," She heard Kobe say before she walked back into the house.

Sincere didn't feel like arguing with Kobe. She wasn't in the mood to talk about her problems.

Looking around she only saw Juice and Ivy in living room. She assumed that everybody else was gone because there cars wasn't here.

"Hey y'all," Sincere greeted.

"Where everyone?" She questioned.

"They went get some food," Ivy answered. Sincere gave her a head nod in response.

"Ivy you seen my keys?" When she left she forgot to grab her keys.

"Yeah I picked them up, you about to go," Ivy questioned having sincere her keys.

"Where Kobe?" Juice asked.

"Outside," Sincere replied simply. Juice nodded before getting up and walking on the outside.

"What's been going on with you Cere?" Ivy questioned looking at her best friend.

"Nothing I'm fine," Sincere sighed.

"Stop Sincere obviously you aren't. You we're literally out of it today," Ivy said sitting up on the sofa.

"I'm fine why does everybody think something wrong with me," She huffed. She was already agitated and Ivy's questioning her wasn't helping.

"Because there's obviously something wrong with you. You need to stop being so stubborn and talk to somebody. You literally haven't talked about that night since it happened," Ivy replied.

"It's been months now Sincere and you still putting on this act like your okay when your not. When's the last time you cried?" Ivy questioned looking up at Sincere.

"Why does that matter?" She asked breaking away from Ivy graze.

"Answer my question Sincere,"

"Can we not go there today," She sighed over the whole conversation.

"Nahh we're going there today. You need to stop holding that shit in Sincere. Seven died months ago and you still haven't accepted the fact that he's gone," Ivy rambled.

"Don't you think I know that shit!" Sincere raised her voice slightly. "I live with that shit everyday. It's hard and I'm trying. But he was the only thing keeping me sane, one of the only things keeping me going, he was my motivation,"

Ivy didn't know what to say. She couldn't find the words to answer Sincere.

"I-" Ivy was cut off by the sound of laughter and the door being open.

"Hey girl where you and Kobe went?" Kayla questioned as every one else came in with food bags in there hand. She searched for Kobe and it didn't take her long to spot him from the rest, since he was tall.

"Uhh we went to get food," She answering looking away from Kobe.

"So y'all didn't fuck," Leeky laughed.

"Leeky shut the fuck up sometimes," Sincere said sitting on the sofa next to Kobe because it was the only available seat. Kobe didn't ackowledge her presence. He not once looked up from his phone. Sincere knew he was feeling a certain way about earier but she didn't care enough to speak on the situation.

"For real man you always got something to say," Jay added putting his fires back in his bag.

"Shut your fat ass up," Leeky laughed, earning silence from everyone else.

"That's all you do is attack a nigga weight that shit is not funny" He mugged taking out his phone. Jay was tired of them attacking his weight thinking it's funny and he vented that to Sincere in a private conversation that they had.

"Whatever," He waved Jay off.

"I'm out yall," Jay said gathering his belongings.

"You good bruh?" Reese asked looking up at his friend.

"Yeah I'm straight," He mumbled before walking out the house.

"Bruh your ass need to keep your mouth closed sometimes. You always got some shit to say," Juice spoke up surprising everyone because he was usually the quite one in the group.

"He need to stop being so fucking sensitive," Leeky said trying to defend himself.

"Aye bruh ya'll don't start," Reese said trying to defuse the situation.

Getting out here phone Sincere saw that it was getting late and she needed to get started on next weeks school work.

Standing up Sincere made sure she had her keys and she made her way to the door.

"You about to go?" Kayla questioned.

"Yeah I got work to do," She replied.

"Alright imma call you," Kayla said while taking a sip of her drink.

"Alright bye Ivy," Ivy sent her a small wave in response.

Sincere knew that Ivy was a little upset that they couldn't finish their conversation. She also knew that Ivy was going to bring the situation up again.

This chapter was longer and normal.
