"How's your wound? You are wearing a new hijab(abaya and veil). Yerein was not forced to wear prisoner's clothes.Kamzan let her wear her faith.The hijab comforted her and she also used it for praying although at first Kamzan didn't believe that she prayed sincerely he still let the woman wear whatever she wanted.
"Yes officer Nico gave it to me,for peace offering,I don't know but he never treated me bad,so there's no need to do this but he insisted,so I just accepted it" Kamzan fist was slowly closed in a tight way.What officer Nico's did was a kind act,but he didn't like it,this gift,this kindness he was giving to the woman in question were unnecessary for the case.Why gave her a reward when what she needed was justice and this justice was only him who could give.
"are you okay,you looked disturbed?" Yerein was starting to open her heart to Kamzan.She was starting to trust him and he also stopped on punishing her. Everything had changed after Yerein got hospitalized and confided the truth,she won Kamzan's trust .After all her suffering, Kamzan finally saw the real her.
And she also forgave the captain. She felt his sincerity,and she couldn't deny that she needed the man,not in a romantic way though.
"Yeah,can we proceed to interrogation now? Don't worry ,no whipping this time"
They started the interrogation,they talked like this for four weeks now,with that long period Kamzan was slowly making a plan and action to help Yerein. Every statement of Yerein was relevant for the development of the case.
Kamzan asked Fragya for legal help.Fragya had been studying Yerein's case for so long but she couldn't make a move without Kamzan's help.Kamzan and his buddies were the one who searched the evidence and linked all the details given by Yerein. The case was almost solved now but Jarannya was also cooking something.
When the captain was about to leave the cell, the figure of Fragya suddenly came out
"So you're here huh"Captain Kamzan was indulged to see Fragya in Yerein's cell.
Fragya was aware that the captain was there but she didn't feel intimidated anymore because the captain was their ally now
"The first time I came here,I looked like a scared cat"Fragya recalled their first meeting with Yerein's captain
"Couldn't blame you though because I looked like an angry lion that time"
The two laughed while reminiscing their first encounter.Her best friend and her captain.The way they talked to each other looked like they had discussed many things already.They used to meet together with officer Nico to talk about Yerein's case.
Yerein could tell that the two creatures had developed a connection that she failed to notice but clearly saw it now. What they were doing was an innocent act but still she couldn't help but feel suffocated.
When captain Kamzan was with her,they were not like this.The captain always scolded her,the captain never laughed with her,she never saw the captain enjoying the moment.
It was a short moment of encounter but for Yerein it took forever for her pain to subside.No she was not jealous,in her defense she just envied the two creatures in front of her.
"Ye-re?" Fragya pulled her from the pit of insecurity
"Fra-fra?"Yerein was finally out from her "hanged moment"
"I said I will go"Fragya repeated what she was saying a while ago.Yerein was looking at them but she didn't paying attention to their words;she was busy entertaining her insecured thoughts
"Oh--okay"Yerein answered Fragya and embraced her before she left the jail.
"Let me escort you to the exit,last time you came here I scared you"her captain always knew how to pick the right words that could trigger her pain.
She was hurt,she shouldn't feel like this.But why did he need to escort her? The most painful part was,the captain just closed the jail door without saying goodbye or at least gave her a glance.

"Officer Nico is waiting at the cafe"this was the reason why she escorted her.They were really full-time on solving the case.They never missed an opportunity ,everything was vital even the smallest details that could help them find the evidence.
"I hope we are not late;you know that man,short-tempered"Fragya smiled while remembering officer Nico's irritated look.
"Nothing new attorney"
Due to the traffic they arrived 20 minutes late.Officer Nico had no idea that they just met in Yerein's cell.He thought they really intended to go there together.The irritation on officer Nico's face was piled up.He was a short-tempered one but also a possessive man
"Oh I didn't know that we will be having a date here?"officer Nico threw the first tantrum
The captain immediately got what he was trying to imply.
"This is not what you think idiot"
"Good afternoon Nico;we are very sorry we are late"Fragya had many things to say because the look on the officer's eyes was telling her to explain everything.
"Save your words attorney;don't waste your time on explaining,let us proceed to the real business"
Captain Kamzan was really a heartless human.However he believed that if you were not guilty there was no need to defend yourself unless if you were Yerein,it really required to prove your innocence.
His two companions sat down but not before officer Nico mouthed to Fragya these words"we will discuss this later".
Fragya just nodded so that they could proceed to their agenda.
