we played uno for ages- red 3, green 1, wild card, pick up 4.
lots of cussing-- so many boundary reminders from our basically babysitter.
we all were laughing-- it was almost like we were normal teenagers. we made jokes; we smiled; we laughed! oh my god we all sincerely laughed together for reasons i would do anything to remember.
towards the end, the card was a yellow 4; Nathan slammed down his green 2 and proclaimed (with such pride!) uno!
we all looked at him so strangely with such a foreign laughter in our eyes--
Nathan that's not the same colour or number Sivan says, smiling gently. Nathan stares at us:
im colourblind, guys. Nathan tells us with such seriousness that even Sivan had nothing to say (and he always has something to add).
