The Next Morning:
💚Dream POV💚
I could hear the birds chirping and singing outside my window. The sun breamed into the room, the light blinding me temporarily.
Slowly I sat up in bed and rubbed eyes. I then tossed my legs over the side of the bed and just sat there for a moment to think about everything that has happened the past few days.
After a few minutes of sitting down on my bed, the crinkled sheets underneath of me, a small knock could be heard.
"Coming!" I shout out and lazily get off of the bed and open the door, revealing Niki standing there holding a plate of waffles.
"Here Dream, I brought you some breakfast!" She said smiling, her eyes crinkling slightly
"Thanks Niki, but I think I'm going to eat downstairs today" I say smiling slightly, her face lights up.
"Really?!" She gasps and I nodded in conformation
She hands me the plate and we both walk down the stairs, the wood creaking under us. When I walk down stairs, everyone's head turns towards me.
"Dream, you're alive!" Sapnap said as he launched himself into me, hugging me a little too tight
"Oh uhm- yeah, I'm sorry about all of that" I apologize quietly
"Dude it's fine, we're here to help you get through this. It's tough learning that your best friend in a coma. We are all upset too!" Sapnap said comforting
"Who's ready for breakfast?" Bad asked holding up a plate with a good two dozen waffles stacked ontop of it, the stack swaying slightly.
-Time Skip-
It was around four-thirty in the afternoon, all of us sitting in the living room laughing and smiling. I will be the first to admit that this is a lot better than being in my room.
I mean I will get used to my best friend being in a coma, right?
'Ring ring, ring ring' The house phones rings. I curiously walk over to it and answer the call, holding the phone up to my ear.
"Hello?" I ask confused
"Hello, is this Clay Blocc?" A woman's voice says through the phone
"Yes" I say getting a bit nervous
"This is Florida Medical Center, we are calling about an update with your friend George Davison" My heart begins to beat faster hearing the name
"George, is he okay?!" I ask slightly panicked
"Your friend has woken up from his coma and seems to me in, for the most part, perfect health." She says calmly
"Can I see him?!" I ask quickly and hopeful
"Yes, we are allowing guests at the moment. We will be expecting you!" She says, the clacking of a keyboard can be heard in the back
"Thank you so much!" I say happily
"Your welcome, have a great rest of your day!" She says and I place the phone back on the wall.
"Guys, George is awake!" I yell running into the living room
"What?!" Sapnap questioned standing up
"Yeah, the hospital just called!" I exclaim
