Hey.. been a while I know.. but this took me a long time to write and school has been really stressful beings the trimester is over and yeah.. I'm gonna shutup now... Here's your update

A month-ish later, Feb 14th
Dez's pov (At Shawn's)
Shawn and I were cuddling together on his bed watching movies. It was about 8 in the morning and we were almost asleep. It's been a little over a month since Shawn was in the hospital, good news is his wounds have healed, an the kinda bad news, you can see the scars on his neck. Fans have been pretty worried and have asked a lot of questions.
"Hey" Shawn said sleepily.
"Yeah?" I asked and then yawned.
"Are you busy later today?" He asked.
"Hmm" I said thinking.
"Nope, I have no plans" I replied and grabbed Shawn's soft blanket from him.
"Hey, that was mine. And good, because I'm taking you out to eat" Shawn said.
"Alright, sounds like it'll be fun. Here come cuddle some more" I said and held up the blanket.
Shawn wrapped his arms around my waist and snuggled up with the blanket some more.
"See you in a few hours" Shawn yawned and then kissed my head.
"See you in a few hours Mendes, I love you" I said and kissed his shoulder.
I fell asleep with about 2 heavy blankets, 1 light blanket, and a very sleepy and warm Mendes wrapped around me.
I won't be surprised if I wake up sweating I thought.
Morgin's pov (9:30am)
"Happy Valentine's Day babe!" Jc said as he walked in the door of his apartment, he was on the top floor and he had a terrace which was really amazing.
"Aww, thanks Jc. Happy Valentine's Day" I said and hugged him.
"I have a surprise for you" he said and went into the hall an then came back with a giant box.
"What's in this?" I asked shocked.
"Open it to find out" Jc said and smiled.
I walked over to the box, undid the tape, and slowly opened the box. I gasped at what I saw. It was an 8 foot teddy bear, and there were small boxes and an envelope.
"Oh my god... Jc how'd you get this?" I asked.
"I have my ways, open the boxes" he said happily.
I went and picked up the medium sized box. I shook it to try and guess what it was but after about 30 seconds I just opened it, and when I did my jaw dropped.
"Jc... You got me an iPhone? This is so fricken amazing!" I said excited.
"Yeah, I thought you'd like it, everyone's numbers are in there. Open the other box, and envelope" he said with a huge smile on his face.
I opened the small box, it held a very beautiful charm bracelet, the envelope held reservations to a restaurant.
"This is wonderful, and it must have been really expensive, how can I repay you?" I asked.
"Money isn't an issue, and by going out to eat with me" he said.
"Okay, fair enough, let me go get ready for the day" I said and kissed his cheek.
I walked off to go take a shower and got ready for the best Valentine's Day ever.
Jayden's pov (10:30am)
"Taylor, god damn, stop it" I laughed as he was tickling me.
"Oh come on babe, it's fun" Taylor said sitting on my legs and tickling my sides now.
"Taylor.... Stop! I will punch you in the face" I said sternly and not laughing.
Taylor immediately got off of me and put his hands up to his shoulders.
"Sorry" he said quickly.
"Better be sorry, I almost peed my pants" I said angrily, more of a mumble.
Taylor then smirked at me.
"What do you want now Caniff?" I said and playfully rolled my eyes.
"Go on a date with me, tonight" he said and sat down on the floor in front of me.
"Why?" I asked and poked his arm.
"Because, it's Valentine's day, I need to show my girl she's important. And what better way than taking her out on a date" Tay said and smiled.
"Quit being romantic like that Tay, jeesh. And fine, but I get to pick where we go" I said and pointed a finger at him.
"Alright, I'm fine with that" He said and layed his head in my lap.
"Where do you wanna go?" He asked with his eyes closed.
"Bowling" I said while starting to play with his hair gently.
"Sure, sounds like fun, but I will win at bowling" He said and smirked.
"We'll see about that, just remember the pins are more than 3 feet away from you. This isn't the carnival" I mocked.
"Ooo, ouch, that stung" Tay said and put a hand over his heart.
"Can we nap?" I asked.
"After being up really late, yeah" Taylor said and grabbed a blanket.
"This will he a great night" I sad and layed my head on Taylor's chest.
"Yes it will be" He said and wrapped his arms around me.
And like that we fell asleep on the floor cuddled up.
Dez's pov (4:15pm)
I got out of the shower and had a big fuzzy purple towel wrapped around my body. Shawn was laying on his bed when I opened his bathroom door.
"Damn, what'd you do? Turn the bathroom into a sauna?" Shawn asked and started laughing.
"I wish. And no, I just like using hot water and getting clean" I said and grabbed my clothes that I thought would be perfect for our date.
"Well, you definitely are hot" Shawn said and smirked.
"Hush boy" I said and walked back into the bathroom.
"You know you could've just changed in my room right?" Shawn said from the other side of the door.
I know I couldn't see it, but I knew he was smirking.
"Why would I do that. You haven't even seen me naked" I said and put the last of my clothes on.
"Well, we can always change that" He said in an almost tempting voice.
I opened the door and Shawn fell face first into his bathroom.
"Ouch" Shawn said and got up.
"Karma sucks doesn't it Mendes" I mocked.
"Yeah it does" he said and rubbed his face.
"So, how do I look?" I asked and twirled around.
I was wearing a red off the shoulder top, zipped pocket skinny jeans, and my nee pair of converse.
"Well, for not being the fancy type, you know how to be fancy and still add your style to it" He said and smiled.
"Thank you" I said and hugged him.
Shawn went outside to start the car, I then put on red heart earrings.
"Ready to go?" He asked.
"Yep" I said and grabbed his hand.
We drove to a fancy restaurant, I'm glad we both look I guess... fancy.
Shawn was wearing a red and black plaid shirt, black jeans, and he wore black slip on sneakers.
It took only about 15 minutes to get to the restaurant, then he parked, we got out and headed into the restaurant.
"You okay?" Shawn asked.
"Umm, just nervous, you know me" I said and tightened my grip on his arm.
"Hey, it's alright, don't be nervous' He assured.
"What if people recognize us?" I mumbled.
"Then I'll tell them who you are and to have them follow you on Twitter" Shawn said and smiled his one of a kind smile.
"Right" I said. I haven't used Twitter much but I did have like 20K followers because the guys would give me shoutouts and follow the people that did follow me.
We didn't have to wait for a table because Shawn made reservations. We sat down at a very neat and cute little table. Not too long after a waiter came by.
"Hello, I'm Xavier, I'll be serving you tonight. What would you like to drink?" He said politely.
"I'll just have a water" I said.
"And for you sir?" He asked.
"Water, thanks" Shawn said.
"I'll have that out in a moment" Xavier said and walked away.
"I have a surprise for you" Shawn said.
"Shawn, you know I hate surprises" I whined.
"Trust me, this is a good surprise" He said and reached into his shirt pocket. He pulled out a wrapped up box.
"What's in it?" I asked curiously.
"Gotta open to find out princess" He smirked then took a sip of his water.
"Grr" I said and laughed.
"Why do you always call me that?" I asked.
"What? Princess?" He asked.
"Yeah" I replied.
"Well... I just think that a special girl needs to be treated.... You know, special. And to me you're a princess, so then I'm your knight in shining armor. I will always be there for you, and to protect you" Shawn said sweetly.
"Mendes, you're gonna make me cry, stop" I joked.
"Well, it's the truth. Come on, open the gift" He urged.
I took off the wrapping and I opened the box, inside was a smaller box.
Of course this is what would happen, classic Shawn I thought.
I picked up the smaller box and looked at Shawn in shock.
"Is-is this what I think it is?" I asked shocked.
"I'm not saying another word" He said and smiled.
I slowly opened the box, inside was a Blue Nile 3/4 Carat Pave Diamond ring.
"S-Shawn, it-it's so pretty" I stuttered.
"I knew you'd love it, but this is a promise ring, and I promise to never hurt you, I promise to always be there for you, and I promise to always love you" Shawn said and blushed.
"Aww, Mendes, you're the best" I said and wiped a few tears away.
"I'm gonna go to the bathroom, I hope our food is here by the time I'm back, I'm hungry" I said and got up.
"I hope so too" Shawn said.
I went to the bathroom and fixed my mascara, when I was done I came back and saw that our food was at the table, I also saw something that made my heart stop. Shawn, was kissing another girl.
Why? I thought.
Morgin's pov (4:30pm)
Jc and I were at Olive Garden, I know it isn't that fancy but we passed it and Jc asked if I've ever been there. Since I haven't Jc insisted that we went there instead.
"How's your steak?" Jc asked.
"It's really good, how's your seafood?" I asked and took a sip of my Dr. Pepper.
"Well, it sure tastes like seafood" Jc said and chuckled.
"I got you a gift" Jc said.
"Another one?" I joked.
"Yeah, here you go" he said and held out his hand.
I put my hand under his and he opened his hand, then he took it away. I had a puzzled look on my face because I didn't know what it was, I finally looked down and saw a ring in my hand. It was a ruby red heart surrounded by diamonds.
"Jc, this is the most beautiful thing I've ever seen, I love it. Thank you" I said and kinda started to sob.
"Don't cry baby, it's okay" He assured.
"I didn't get you anything though" I said and fixed my makeup.
"It's fine, I promise" He said and smiled.
"Alright" I said.
Then all of a sudden my phone started to ring.
"Oh, umm, sorry, I have to take this" I said and got up.
"It's okay, go ahead" Jc said and continued to eat his seafood.
I walked out of Olive Garden and answered my phone.
"Hello?" I said.
The person I was talking to was the manager of this movie theater that I applied to. After I was done talking to him I had a mini heart attack.
"I got the job" I whispered to myself.
I went back inside and in that split second my happiness turned into mixed emotions.
Jc.... He was kissing our waitress. I got very and did something I normally wouldn't do.
Jayden's pov (5:30pm)
"Taylor come on, let's go!" I yelled up the stairs.
"Coming doll" He yelled back.
Taylor came downstairs wearing his Budweiser tank top.
"Ready?" He asked and smiled.
"Yep, I hope you're ready to lose" I joked.
"Nah baby, you'll lose. I know it's Valentine's Day but don't expect me to go easy on you" He said and intwined our fingers.
"Never asked you to" I said.
We walked to the bowling place and it took us about 15 minutes, when we got there it was about 5:45pm. We paid, got our shoes and started to play.
I went first, I was nervous as hell because I didn't want to lose to Taylor, but I finally went and I got a strike.
"Ha, beat that babe" I said and stuck my tongue out at him.
"Fine, I will. And don't stick your tongue out, I'll bite it" He said cockily.
I just made a weird face at him.
Taylor went and got a ball, ignoring the fact that there were girls drooling over him. I glared at them, and Taylor seemed to notice.
"Hey" He said.
I averted my eyes to him.
"I'm here with you, not them, they're just jealous" He said and smiled.
"Yeah" I said and kissed his cheek.
He then went up to the lane, but before he rolled the ball he turned to face me. He then rolled the ball granny style between his legs and smirked, like he knows he has it. I started to go jaw dropped, sure enough he got a strike.
"How in the hell" I questioned.
"When you're as good as me you can do stupid things and make it amazing" He said and kissed my head.
After about 45 minutes of playing we were sitting down drinking water and eating candy. We were on our 2nd game, Taylor won the first game, now we were on the 4th frame.
"Ready to lose yet?" Taylor asked and chugged some more water.
"Shut it" I said and threw a skittle at him. Taylor caught it in his mouth and started laughing.
"Wanna play?" He said teasingly.
I felt myself blush.
"I-I need to go cool off, be back in 5" I said and got up to go outside.
It was really nice outside, I enjoyed the cool air. After I was cooled off enough I walked back in determined to kick Caniff's ass at this game of bowling.
I grabbed a cup of water and headed back to where Taylor, and as soon as my eyes found Taylor, I dropped the cup of water.
"T-Taylor" I whispered and sobbed.
There were a bunch of workers that had sparklers going off, there were streamers hung up, the place looked different than when we first went in.
"I have a gift for you" Taylor said.
"Close your eyes" He said. I did as told and I could tell he was standing behind me.
"Okay, open" He said excitedly.
I did and felt something around my neck. I looked at what it was, and it was a red ruby heart necklace. Taylor even had a rose in his hand and a card that said Be mine?
I smiled and went to go hug him but this random bitch decided to come up and started to kiss him. Taylor dropped the flower and he put his arms on her hips. Tears rolled down my face, i then ran out of the bowling place. I called my mom to see if she could come and get me and thankfully she could.
How could he do that to me I thought.
Dez's pov (5:30pm)
"Shawn what the hell!" I yelled at him. I was angry and upset, I didn't want my voice to crack though, I have to be strong.
The girl stopped kissing Shawn and she turned around to face me. She looked at me and smirked, I didn't have to think of who it was because I knew exactly who it was.. Sam Knight.
"Well, how are you my dearest Dezirae?" Sam asked.
"The hell do you want?" I asked through gritted teeth.
"Just paying a visit to Cali, figured I stop by and give Shawn a taste of what Minnesota is like without him" She said and did a fake smile.
I went up to her and punched her square in the face, she grabbed her nose as she stumbled backwards and fell onto our food.
"Ow, you crazy bitch, what the fuck!" She yelled.
I grabbed her by her hair and threw her on the floor and punched her repeatedly. I didn't know how long it'd been until Shawn grabbed me and put me over his shoulder. I didn't care though, I left Sam in shock and in a puddle of her own blood.
We went outside and he finally put me down. My hand had some of Sam's blood on it, I wiped it off on my shirt.
"What is wrong with you Shawn? I leave for a few minutes and I come back and you're sucking face with Sam, why?" I half yelled half sobbed.
"Look, I know what it looked like, but honestly I did try to push her away. I just couldn't, she's strong for a tiny girl. Looks can be deceiving" Shawn said defensively.
"You really want me to believe that bullshit?" I asked angered.
"Well... Yeah because it's the truth" he said and started to get more upset.
"I'm done, I can't do this. I put my full trust in you and everything. Then we come here and you fed me lies. God, I can't believe I was so stupid" I said and paced back and forth.
"Dez please, I would never want to hurt you. If you were me you'd know that I was really trying to push her off of me. I'm begging you, please don't do this. I-I love you" Shawn said and tears started to fall from his eyes.
"I need time, for now, don't talk to me" I said and took off the ring.
"Here, give this to someone else, it's just a bunch of lies to me now" I said not looking at him. I felt him take the ring.
"I'm truly sorry Dez, I hope you see that" He whispered. I could tell he was hurt.
I closed my eyes and took a deep breath.
"Just.... Leave me alone Shawn. I don't want to talk to you, don't call or text me" I said coldly.
Not facing Shawn gave me the chance to cry, it seemed like I wasn't, but I was.
"If that's what you really want" He said quietly.
After a moment of silence I finally heard him start to walk away. I took another deep breath and then I called Jack to come and get me. I waited no more than 5 minutes till he arrived.
We didn't talk because I knew I'd have to tell him everything when we got back to my house.
God why do things like this always happen to me I thought.
Morgin's pov
I was so furious, I took my plate and Jc's and dumped it on the girl.
"Look, I don't know who the hell you think you are but you better get the hell out of here now!" I yelled at her.
She ran off crying and I didn't feel bad at all.
"Babe, I-I'm sorry" Jc said.
"Shutup" I said angrily.
"I really am" He cried.
"So am I" I said disappointedly.
"What do you mean?" He said in almost a whisper tone.
"I'm sorry I trusted a guy so easily, gave him my heart, dropped my defenses" I said and started walking out.
I stopped in my tracks, spun around, and walked towards Jc. He had a look of hope in his eyes, boy was he in for a treat.
I took off my Valentine's ring and gave it to him. I then kissed his cheek, and immediately smacked him afterwards.
Last kiss he'll get from me I thought.
I called my mom to come and get me and just went home, changed into my pj's, and ignored anyone and everyone. I had to turn my phone on silent because Jc kept blowing it up and I absolutely didn't want to talk to him.
"Why am I so stupid?" I said to myself.
"Should've known better" I said again.
By now it was 8:30pm, I tweeted a tweet saying A happy ending is just a lie that we make ourselves believe will come true, well trust me, it doesn't. In a matter of seconds I had a lot of favorites and ReTweets, i had a lot of fans thanks to the guys.
After that I turned my phone off, curled up in my blankets, and started to fall asleep.
I wish everything would just go away I thought.
Jayden's pov (8:30pm)
I was laying in my bed curled up in my blankets sobbing. I had no lights on, no tv, just me in my room full of darkness. Taylor kept texting me, of course I didn't text back, I didn't want to talk to that lying bastard.
Since I wasn't answering his messages he decided to tweet. Wonderful I thought annoyed.

I turned his notifications off, I did one tweet that would most likely cause drama but he deserves to know how I feel.

I turned my phone off and got comfy in my bed. I couldn't sleep after a while, because I knew it'd be hell in the morning. So, I just looked out at the bright shining stars and moon and just admired how beautiful they were.
I think I looked at the stars and moon for a good while because it was already 10:30pm. I finally decided to take some NyQuil so I'd fall asleep, I have to be prepared for what's coming to me.
I sometimes wish that I didn't meet Taylor, I should've just stayed being a fan, liking his Instagram posts, vines, Tweets. I wish I could take it all back, but, I can't, I won't, because I know every relationship has rough patches. And I know I'm probably fooling myself, but.... I think, no... I know, I'm in love with Taylor Caniff.
Dez's pov (8:30pm, my house)
Jack and I were laying in my bed talking and not really watching what was on tv. I just got done telling him everything that had happened and now I was sobbing.
"Hey, it's okay... Shh" Jack whispered.
I wiped my tears away with the back of my hand.
"I just.... don't get why.... he'd do that" I said through sobs. Man I must've looked like a complete wreck.
The best thing about Jack was that he didn't care what I looked like, he was always there for me when I needed him.
"He's a lame guy, all guys are lame" Jack said and rubbed my back and then hugged me.
I wrapped my arms around his neck and rested my head on my arms and his shoulder.
"Not all guys are lame" I whispered.
"No?" Jack questioned. I laughed.
"No, you're not a lame guy, Gilinsky isn't a lame guy either" i said and smiled.
"Well, that's because he takes after me" Jack said.
"Yeah.... Okay" I said acting like I believed it and then playfully punched Jack's arm.
"So... On a more serious note, what are you going to do when you see Shawn at Magcon?" Jack asked.
"I'm not going to Magcon" I said and grabbed the bag of pretzels.
"Yeah you are, Jayden and Morgin are going too" Jack said and grabbed a pretzel.
I smacked his hand and he dropped the pretzel back in the bag.
"Hey! Those are mine' I said and pointed a finger at him.
"Yes ma'am" Jack joked.
"Just kidding, here" I said and gave Jack a pretzel.
"When is Magcon?" I asked and put the pretzels down on the floor.
"In a few weeks, but it's more of a vacation. With a little meet and greet" Jack said and stretched out.
"Oh... Well that should be fun. Where we going?" I asked.
"Bahamas" Jack replied.
"I've always wanted to go there" I said.
"Yeah?" Jack asked.
"Yeah, it should be fun now that my friends are going with" I said and smiled.
"Hey I have a question for you" Jack said seriously but had his eyes closed.
"And what is that?" I asked.
"Do you still have that necklace I gave you?" Jack asked
"Yes I still have the necklace" I said confidently and smiled. I then started to play with Jack's hair
Jack just smiled.
"Will you give me a chance?" Jack asked in a soft voice.
I stopped playing with his hair and thought for a moment. Jack opened his eyes and looked at me. I tried to say something but I couldn't. The only thing that was happening was my jaw was moving but no words were coming out.
"Boop" Jack said and poked my nose.
"Hey, why'd you do that?" I asked.
"To get you to talk" He laughed.
"Oh... well, thanks" I said and smiled.
"Yeah, anytime" He said.
"Why do you want to date me?" I asked seriously.
"I want to date you because, you're smart, funny, amazing. The guys love you, you're a great friend, and you're caring. You also deserve to be treated right" Jack said in his most serious tone and looked me dead in the eyes.
I just looked at him in shock.
"Jack" I said.
"I know, I went soft, but it's the truth" He said and stroked my cheek.
"Yes" I said.
"You will?" Jack asked excitedly.
"Yes, I will" I said and smiled.
Jack looked me over and then he started to lean in, we ended up kissing. I know it was wrong, but honestly, it somehow felt right.
After we broke the kiss Jack changed into his boxers, turned off my bedside lamp, and cuddled up to me. I decided to trace his abs because I was bored and nothing good was on tv.
At about 10:30pm Jack was asleep and I was laying my head on his chest just thinking about things.
I wonder how people on Twitter will react to this I thought.
I had to admit, I was a little scared of what was gonna happen now. I didn't want Shawn to try and hurt himself again, god that worried me the most. And Shawn has an interview in a few days, that's when he was gonna announce to the world that we were dating. Now, I honestly have no clue what's gonna happen, it's all a mystery.
Taking a deep breath and putting all thoughts to the side I decided I needed to get some sleep. So, I turned the tv volume down, got under a couple blankets, and put my head on Jack's chest.
Jack, even though he was asleep, somehow found a way to wrap his arms around me, he also gave off heat like a furnace. I then fell asleep in Jack's arms and listened to the sweet rhythm of Jack's heartbeat.

Hey!! How are you guys? I'm good, just trying to keep up with classes. I'm on mid-winter break, been on break since Friday. I hope this chapter is a long one.. took me a while to write it. I hope you enjoy it.
