"Are you in?" I asked my partner through my invisible Bluetooth micro-earpiece; where I can send and receive speech information without wires, discreetly... in an invisible way. Although today, I won't be as invisible as I was my whole life; working underground with other spies, training in my basement, collecting all sorts of guns, knives, and other ammunitions, formulating all types of poison in the lab, and spending all my free-time in my room, (which is made of pure metal, just like a bunker) planning the Wyatt family's assassination.
Today, I will step out into the light. No more all-black fighting gears. Today, I will act as, well, myself. But the more childish and hopeless romantic version of me, which i loathe.

Buti naman. Ang init init dito sa labas. Kanina pa akong pinagtitinginan ng mga taong dumadaan dahil sa outfit kong puro pink. Leche.
But pink is the best cloak to hide my inner agenda. No one will suspect a clumsy girl in pink.
He spoke again, "I can already view the live feed and oh yeah, I can even manipulate the digital video recorder. Do you want me to change the original user's email and password and lock the user out? Haha. This is fun! More wine, please."
"Tss. Just do it." I said before approaching a girl with a beige tote bag and a tupperware.
"Do a facial recognition on this girl" I said to my partner.

He looked at the McLaren car behind us. "Tangina, ano na naman problema neto" Bumaba siya sa kotse. Nagsimula silang magsigawan nung Erin. Nanatili ako sa kotse.
I whispered through my earpiece, "Tutuloy ko pa ba tong sa brakes?"
"Stop moving. Nakatingin sayo si Erin." So, I stopped.
Erin then opened the car. Kinabig niya ang kamay ko palabas sa kotse. Tiningnan niya ako from head-to-toe. "Yuck, who is this?"
Umiling lang si Zyair. Saka kinaladkad na ako ng guards palabas.
My partner spoke, "Fuck. Plan B."
I grinned when he said that. Plan B means he will join me here. Ayaw na ayaw niyang matuloy yung plan B dahil ayaw niyang makita si Erin. May past ata sila na siya lang ang nakakaalam. Unrequited love? Doesn't matter. We will kill Erin after eliminating Zyair.

"Kaya mo ba?" Tanong ko sa kanya.
Nakatingin lang siya sa sahig. Ilang minuto na siyang tulala.
Sa aming dalawa, ako ang mas masama. Alam kong hindi niya kaya ang pinapagawa sa kanya. Pero alam ko rin na hindi niya kayang suwayin ang ina niya.

Nalaman ni Adeline ang paboritong bakeshop ni Erin kaya naman pinalagyan niya ng lason sa isang assassin niya ang cupcakes na pina-reserve ni Zyair.

Inilahad niya ang panibagong box ng parehong cupcakes na nahulog ko kanina.

I bit my lip and tried to stop sobbing. I kissed the tip of his nose, "What if I'm not as good as you thought I was? What if I was also dark? Or darker than you?"
