Shehnaaz slumped down on the chair fuming & cursing
Till morning she was so confident & excited and absolutely assured her day would go better. Even Charles couldn't break her confidence in the conference in the afternoon because she knew she could do it.
She knows her worth & what all she is capable of doing. She's faced worst in the past yet she strived on her merits. This was nothing compared to what all she's been through years back. She knew eventually she would seal the deal & she certainly didn't need any validation from an outsider!!!!
Only if an unwelcomed jerk didn't decide to walk in & appear out of the blue ruining her day, her dream, her mood.
Shehnaaz was tapping her foot sulking mumbling all sort of curses she could remember then
She stood up & started pacing to & fro. She off course didn't want to lose the deal because it was a total game changer. This time she can't let her ego come in between her profession or else everything will be at stake.
Sana stood against the glass window of her cabin & rolled the blinds. She saw Sidharth & Shehbaaz still talking like best buddies.
That made her more annoyed. She made faces while glaring at them.

Before Baaz could speak Tara intervened
Tara : Shehbaaz Sir! Mam wants to see you in the cabin.
Shehbaaz wiped sweat beads on his forehead & mumbled
"Gaye kaam se"
While Sidharth chucked & wished him
"GOOD LUCK "
Sidharth took his leave & was about to leave when he was stopped by Tara
Tara : Aap dono ko bulaya hain! Abhi!!!!
Sidharth was confused & confirmed again
Sid : Me???? Are you sure??
Tara : Yes!!!!! YOU sir (She repeated)

Baaz looked down trying hard not to laugh while Sid shook his head

Shehnaaz was settled on the leather couch in the centre along with few other important members seated comfortably when they heard a knock on the door.
Sana : Come in
Sidharth & Baaz walked in together
Sid walked in attitude & directly settled on the couch adjacent to Sana without any permission as if he's the owner
Sid : Wow!!! I feel so privileged he said looking all the faces around
Sana rolled her eyes but remained silent
Sidharth turned to her all smiling. He leaned a little forward & very sweetly asked,
Sid : Yes Miss Gill??? Maine suna aap mujhe yaad kar rahi thi
He was so close that Sana literally had goosebumps she gulped her saliva down while Sidharth smirked seeing his effect on her
Since Sid was sitting close to Sana he leaned a little to her ears & whispered sensually
Sidharth : (whispering huskily) Aur suno jo bolna hain jaldi bolo. Kyunki agar ek baar main bas gaya na, toh tum cha kar bhi mujhe nikal nahi paogi phir!!!! Soch lo!!!!!!!
( He whispered challengingly looking her dead in the eye)
Sana POV
Arrrghhhh!!! Why am I freaking out??? What the hell is he doing & why the hell is he sitting so close to me. For fuck sake can he stop staring me like that??? And that stupid sexy smirk on his face all the damn time???? Wait what??? SEXY???? Shut the fuck up Sana. He is nothing but a "JERK" Yup!!!!!!!
Sidharth was enjoying to the fullest
Sana darted her gaze & quickly shifted a little away from him
Sidharth : Aur waise bhi mujhe yaha pe insab ki boring shakal dekhne ka koi shauk nahi
He said moving away giving them all bored look while others looked at him offended
Shehbaaz giggled looking down

Sana : OK look! I don't have a habit to beat around the bush. I'll get straight to the point. I have put my heart & soul to this project and there are so many who've invested a lot of exposure into this. And there is no way I'm gonna let this go at any cost. And since you've caused enough damage for today. You will have to fix this too. For all I care is this deal being sealed successfully with or without you! So even if that meant I will have to tolerate you around. I will cuz honestly as much as your existence doesn't matter to me, this contract highly does! Hence, I want you to accept the position of a Head Designer Operations & sign the contract under given terms & conditions
Sidharth listened to her carefully and said
Sid : First thing first, why do you think I would agree to this?? Secondly, I don't work under someone else's terms & conditions. I have a bad habit of doing things my way. Sid chuckled and said
Sid : I want you to consider my conditions. As simple as that (He said in his coolest tone)
Sana : Not possible!!! ( She denied at once)
Sid shrugged his shoulders & said getting up
Sid : Alright then! I'll take your leave! And I ain't losing anything, Am I???
Anyway, (he took a pause & said)

(Sidharth couldn't understand why did it pain him to say those words)
There was glint of sadness in his voice
Sid : And Shehbaaz, I will see you soon brother. Take care.
He started moving towards the door & Shehnaaz looked at his retreating figure confused whether or not to stop him.
When Baaz tried stopping him
Baaz : Yaar Sidharth ek baari baat sun le....when Shehnaaz cut him
Sana : Let him leave Shehbaaz! You don't understand but I do!!! Ppl like him can just self boast & glorify themselves to seek attention to show that they are one of us when actually the reality is far from it. Iske jaise log sirf badi badi baatein kar sakte hain.
Par asal mein kuch karne ki aukat nahi hoti aur naa hi himmat. He just wanted an attention hence all that VISIONARY drama. Kyun ki agar sach mein isse kuch aata hota toh he would've been least bothered by conditions.
I was absolutely right about him.

He let go off everything in the past because he was broken, devastated, defeated. But this time, he wouldn't let anyone win against him. He's rock solid & nothing is going to break him.
Turning, he walked back towards the desk. Bending a little he agreed to all the terms & conditions & signed all the papers without reading even once.
All this while Shehnaaz noticed his expression but found it completely blank
Sid turned his gaze to her & spoke fearlessly with his head held high
Sid : Anything else Miss Gill?????????
It wouldn't be wrong to say that Sana was intimidated by him for a moment
Sana : Ab......NOPE!! That will be all!
She forwarded her hands to shake & said
WELCOME ON BOARD MR SIDHARTH MATHUR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sid took her hands in his & responded
