Amelia's POV
"if you're really dating then kiss" Nate said
I looked at him with wide eyes
I don't know what to say or do
"she feels uncomfortable in kissing in front of others" Tayler said tightening his grip around my shoulder
"that's bullshit, we know you guys are hiding something" Addison said
God help me please
Tayler was about to say something, when the bell rang
God really helped me this time
"well I have to go, class is about to start" I said getting up quickly
I walked to my locker and grabbed my books before walking to class

I let out a sigh and closed my locker
I was tired of receiving glares from girls all day
all the school knows that me and Tayler are 'dating'
I walked out of school and saw Tayler standing leaning against his car
once he saw me, he smiled and walked to me
"hey babe" he said
"don't call me that" I said through gritted teeth
"okay. hey cupcake" he said putting his arm around my shoulder
I let out a sigh and started walking away
correction: tried to walk away
but I was pulled back by Tayler
"where are you going?" he asked
"home" I said in a 'duh' tone
"I'm taking you home" he said grabbing my hand and pulling me with him to the car
I rolled my eyes and got in the car
I crossed my arms over my chest while Tayler got in the car
"aw why are you mad?" he asked in a baby voice
"you know this is kidnapping right?" I said looking at him
"it's not, you can get out if you want" he said shrugging
I looked at the sidewalk and saw some old guy smoking on a bench
'fine, I'll stay" I said
Tayler smirked and started the car
"can you come visit my mom today?" he asked
I thought a bit
I have nothing to do today
"sure" I said shrugging
"thank you so much Lia, you have no idea how much this means to me" he said letting out a sigh
"it's okay" I said smiling
we drove in silence until Tayler parked in front of my house
"I'll pick you up at 4?" he asked
I nodded my head
"bye Tayler" I said opening the car door
"bye Lia" I heard as I closed the door
I walked to my house and knocked on the door
after a while, the door opened revealing dad
"hey dad" I said as I walked inside
"hey honey" he said closing the door
"who was that boy who dropped you of?" he asked
"my...friend" I lied
I'm not going to tell him I got a boyfriend last second, although he did the same to me
"are you busy today?" he asked
"yeah...kinda" I said
"why?" I asked
"I wanted you to meet my girlfriend and her daughter but you'll meet them tomorrow if you can" he said
I forgot he had a girlfriend
"yeah sure" I said before walking to my room
I flopped on my bed tired
I looked at the time and it was 2
a nap would be great right now

I woke up by hearing a knock on my door
"who is it?" I asked sitting up
"it's me, your friend is here to pick you up" I heard my dad say
what?!
I looked at the time, it was 4:12
crap crap
I jumped up and ran to my closet
I grabbed an outfit quickly and ran to the bathroom
I brushed my hair quickly and washed my face before running downstairs
I saw Tayler and my dad sitting in the kitchen. talking
my face dropped instantly
"hey Tayler, I'm ready" I said
"oh hey Lia" he said
"why didn't you introduce me to your friend before, he's really fun" my dad said
I let out a sigh
"let's go" Tayler said after seeing that I'm annoyed
"bye dad" I said grabbing Tayler's hand and pulling him with me
"you didn't tell your dad we're dating?" he asked
"fake dating, and no I'm not telling him I got a boyfriend out of the blue" I said
"fair enough" he said getting in the car
I got in the car too

I got out of the car and waited for Tayler to park the car
"okay, let's go" he said as he walk to me
I followed him to the door and waited as he opened the door
"hey mom! I'm back" he yelled
I heard footsteps on the stairs and then Wendy appeared
"Amelia, how are you?" she asked hugging me
"wow, that hurts so bad" Tayler said
I laughed slightly and so did Wendy
"come in" she said closing the door behind us
"are you here for a project?" she asked
I shook my head
"I'm here to visit you" I said
she smiled widely and leaded me to the living room
"you're so sweet, no wonder why Tayler is dating you" she said
I guess he told her we're 'dating'
I just smiled at her
"you guys know that I'm still here right" Tayler said from behind us
I honestly forgot he was
"no" me and Wendy said in unison
we laughed as Tayler pouted and sat next to me
"how's school these days?" Wendy asked
I was about to say good when Tayler beat me
"boringgg" he said
"ohh come on it's not that bad" I said looking at him
"of course it's not to you, because you're a nerd" he teased
I hit his shoulder playfully
he just laughed harder
"come on Tayler stop it" I whined
"so cute" I heard Wendy mumble
I just smiled a bit
maybe fake dating Tayler isn't that bad
