Lisa couldn't stop thinking about what Jisoo said. She hated that there was no way she was going to get answers.

She kept wracking her mind trying to figure out what Jisoo meant when she said that her people screwed Jennie over before. In the last three years, she never heard anything about Jennie or knew much about her. She saw her around, usually just sitting by herself in the library but surely if something had happened, talk would have spread around the school.

"What's on your mind?"

Lisa looked up when she saw Jennie giving her a small smile.

Instantly, she felt relaxed as a smile grew on her lips. "Math," she lied. "I have a test later."

Jennie nodded her head, glancing around a little. "I'm sure you'll do good." She bit her lip, avoiding her gaze.

Lisa tilted her head as she looked at her, "Want to sit?"

Jennie looked at her again, her eyes lighting up a little.

She had walked over to her when she saw her sitting in the library by herself during the free period they both had. She built up the courage to go speak to her but didn't know how to just sit with her like she did when she walked up to her in the library a while back. She didn't know if she would be okay with her sitting with her.

Lisa, however, was starting to get a better understanding of how Jennie's mind worked so she could tell that's what she was debating.

She shrugged softly as she sat down.

Jennie tucked away some of her loose papers in some random notebook.

"Working on something?" Lisa asked, noticing the papers she was shoving away.

She shook her head, "Not really. Are you?" She glanced at the textbooks on the table.

She sighed, running a hand through her hair. "I needed to finish a lab for Chemistry. Not in the mood to work right now."

"When is it due?" She asked, still biting her lip in an anxious manner.

"Last period," she grinned. "Procrastination at its finest."

Jennie paused for a moment before she started flipping through her notebook. She then turned her notebook towards her, "Here. It's this one right?"

Lisa looked down at the papers before giving her an odd look, "Yeah, why?"

She shrugged, "You can use it if you want. It'll save you time. I mean, considering the science junkie you are, I'm sure you know all of it anyways."

Lisa chuckled softly, shaking her head lightly.

Panic filled Jennie. "Sorry. Was that too-"

"No, no, no," Lisa chuckled a bit more, giving her a grin. "It's cute. Like when you would give your crush in middle school your test to cheat off of."

Jennie's cheeks heated up. She looked down at the table, trying to hide her smile and blush.

Lisa's lips twirled up in a smile she could not control. She reached forward and gently placed a hand under her chin, lifting her head so she would look at her. "Don't hide it. It's cute."

Jennie only felt giddier and filled with a fuzzy feeling, blushing more now. "You're not helping," she squeaked out through clasped teeth, not being able to look away since her hand was still under her chin.

Lisa laughed a bright and genuine laugh, finding her absolutely adorable. She was laughing so much, her hand dropped, "My God, you're precious."

Jennie felt like she was going to choke from the clenching feeling in her chest. Her whole body felt like it was on fire. She bit her lip hard, looking down once again.

Lisa smiled softly once the laughs had settled down, "Do you want to go out tonight?"

"What?" She choked, looking at her with wide eyes. Is she... asking me out?

Lisa quirked an eyebrow, amused by the look on her face. "I'm saying, do you want to accompany me to getting some food?"

Jennie blinked, taken aback. "Uh... yeah. I mean, if you want to, sure." She starting fiddling with her fingers, something she did when she was nervous.

"Of course I want to, silly. That's why I'm asking."

Jennie smiled a little, "Okay."
