Amelia's POV
"Amelia, sweetie, I have to tell you something" my dad said as I entered the kitchen
I just arrived from Tayler's house and I was planning on taking a shower and going to bed
"sure, I just need to shower" I said
he nodded and I walked to my room
I grabbed a hoodie and some shorts and walked to the bathroom

I walked to the living room, where my dad was sitting
"yes dad?" I asked sitting next to him
he turned the tv of and looked at me
"I have to tell you something..." he said rubbing his hands together and avoiding eye contact
"dad, you're scaring me" I said slightly worried
"I'm getting married" he said finally looking at me
my face turned from worried to surprised
I didn't expect this
don't get me wrong I'm happy for him, but he never told me he has a girlfriend or something
"that's great!" I exclaimed smiling
"you're not mad?" he asked
I shook my head
"why would I be?" I asked confused
"you know...because of your mom or something" he murmured
I put my hand on his shoulder
"I'm happy, as long as you're happy" I said
he smiled and pulled me into a hug
"I'm gonna go sleep know" I said getting up
he smiled and nodded
I walked to my room and flopped on my bed
this was a really tiring day
Next morning
I woke up form my sleep after getting a text
I opened my phone and went to messages

I let out a sigh and threw my phone
he didn't mention today is our first day
what the hell am I gonna do?
I got up and walked to my closet
I grabbed an outfit, that I really liked, which actually wasn't a hoodie and sweatpants

I brushed my hair, and decided why not put some makeup
I put my hair in a high ponytail and grabbed my things before walking downstairs
"good morning" I told my dad as I entered the kitchen were he was

I made myself some coffee, before I got a message

"my ride is here, bye dad" I said before walking out of the kitchen
I closed the door behind me and walked to Tayler's car, which was parked in front of the house
I got in the car and closed the door
"good morning" he said smirking
"why didn't you mention that we're gonna start today?!" I said annoyed
"geez I only said good morning" he said raising his hands in surrender
"don't change the subject" I said putting my finger in front of his face warning him
"I forgot okay" he said letting out sigh and rolling his eyes
"whatever" I mumbled
he started the car, and we started driving to school in silence
Tayler parked the car in front of the school
I took a deep breath trying to control my anxiety
"oh come on it's not that bad" Tayler said
"trust me it is" I said
he shook his head and got out of the car
I repeated his actions and got out of the car too
suddenly all eyes were on me
my eyes slightly widened
I mean imagine getting out of the car, and all people look at you as if they saw a ghost or something
Tayler walked to me and grabbed my hand
he interlocked our fingers and started walking to school with me behind him
"Tayler what are you doing?" I whispered
"relax Lia, we're dating remember" he whispered back
he walked me to the locker and stood waiting for me to get my books
I grabbed my books and closed the locker
Tayler grabbed my hand again and we started walking to class
and of course ALL eyes were on us
Tayler walked me to my class because we didn't have it together
"bye cupcake, have fun" he said kissing my cheek softly
"I sure will" I mumbled
not to mention that my cheeks were probably red as a tomato
I walked inside the class
the teacher still haven't arrived so it was noisy
as I stepped into the class
everyone stopped talking and looked at me
I hate my life
I slowly walked to the back, where Addison was sitting and I sat next to her
"why is everyone looking at me?" I whispered to her
"you just entered with Tayler Holder, while holding his hand and he kissed your cheek, and you expect people not to look" she whispered back
I let out a sigh
"okay everyone! stop looking at her she's getting uncomfortable!" Addison yelled
everyone looked away while Addison looked at me again
"what's up with you and Tayler?" she asked suspiciously
"we're dating?" I said, more like a question
her eyes widened
"you are?" she asked again, still with wide eyes
"yeah..." I said looking away from her eyes
she can expose me just by looking into my eyes
"there's something suspicious going on" she said
I shook my head quickly
she was about to say something, when the teacher entered the class
I let out a sigh of relief

me and Tayler walked into lunch together, hand in hand
I could actually get used to his hand in mine
we walked to our table and sat down
everyone on the table looked at us
"did we miss something?" Kelianne asked
I cleared my throat and shook my head
"we're dating" Tayler said putting his arm around my shoulder and pulling me closer to him
"so you guys were definitely fucking in the janitor's room yesterday" Bryce said laughing
"ew no we weren't" I said in disgust
"if you're really dating then kiss" Nate said
