Minutes before Y/ns mission:
When the two girls get to Tony they start with question after question 'Did you find her?' 'Where is she' 'Is she okay'
"Okay girls calm down so we know that every night whoever sets those fires always sets three at a time" Tony starts off
"Me and Tony were looking at a map of the area and it seems like they do street after street every night and looking at it now there is only one area left to be hit" Steve takes over pointing at the map on the projector screen
"So they are going to hit that area tonight and we're going to stop them and if it isn't Y/n it's definitely somebody who works for Hydra so they can lead us to her" Nat pieces together earning a nod from the three men
"Just before we go guys remember if it is Y/n she's more then likely being controlled so take care approaching her especially now that she has her new powers" Tony warns everyone and they all just nod
"Suit up and we'll meet on the jet" and with that everyone ran to get changed and all gathered on the jet
"So we know where is going to be hit before we do anything we need to clear out the buildings make sure nobody is inside and then we'll get into hiding position" Steve says before sitting with Tony discussing what they will do when they capture who they think is Y/n
Y/N'S POV:
It's been a hectic couple of days since I went back to Hydra I made a deal with Strucker that if I co-operate with him he'll let me go eventually till then I do whatever they say
I'm still in a cell and have have but neck piece that shocks me if I do something wrong they say it's to make sure I stay in my lane but damn it hurts so much
"I've got another list for you Romanoff you ready" I hear him through the speaker "Yeah whatever you need sir" and he let's me out of my cell to go join him
"So you're going to hit these three buildings tonight and we should be finished with that area for good" Strucker points to the map pointing out the spots
"And you promise there's nobody inside them?" I question because I'm not killing anyone "Just like all the others they are empty" He responds
"Okay well let's go do this shall we" I walk towards one of the SUVs parked outside that will take me to where I need to be
As I arrive the streets are empty except for a few homeless people but they never seem to bother me I go to a high point to scope the place out and make sure there's no security but I see nobody
"Let's get it done Y/n we don't have all night" a loud voice comes through the comms
I run to the first building and start throwing fire balls through each window and around the outside before I run onto the next and do the same thing ya know it's easier than you think when you don't have to worry about people getting hurt
As I move onto the final building something feels off and was I right about it I feel someone running at me from a corner but I blast them away before they can get close
"Strucker I'm getting attacked here I thought these were going to be easy jobs" I complain through the comms
"Just keep them off of you I'm sending people in as we speak"
"Yeah sure no problem you take your time" I say under my breath
When I turn to look at the person on the floor I see Steve lying there and I freeze "You've got to be kidding me right now" I say aloud and a few cars pull up behind me
"Y/n you fight them off I mean it don't give in or I'll come in there myself and kill them understand" I'm warned by Strucker I really dont want to listen to him but I don't want them dead either
A group of Hydras men are now stood behind me waiting for a signal to fight but I don't give it just yet "Guys it's Y/n" I hear Steve speak which means he's not alone and to prove I was right they all come out from hiding
"Listen to me Y/n you come with us now and we can help you I promise just do the right thing please" Tony starts it's cute that he cares but I can't do it
"Don't bother trying to sweet talk me it's not going to work just leave and I won't have to hurt you" I say looking at them and I see Wanda and Nat and it makes me want to just give up
I've learned from my time in the cell how to switch on and off my emotions it comes with my powers so before they can speak I switch them off
"We know they're in your head like they were with Bucky" Sam shouts and it makes me laugh I walk closer to him
"Oh please Bird-Man they have no control over me this is the real Y/n you're talking to just with less emotion" I chuckle giving him and evil glare making him back off
"I'm over this conversation I'm bored so boys go get them" I turn to the men behind me giving then the go ahead while I just stand and watch when I hear somebody land behind me
"Wanda if you're here to talk me down it's not worth your time but I'm also not going to fight you" I sigh turning to the woman behind me
"Y/n this isn't you I know the real Y/n the person who loves me and her family of misfits I don't want them to hurt you but I won't stop them if they have to so please do it for me" She pleaded
"Listen Maximoff I don't care if I have to fight them tell them to bring it on but remember I'm doing this for all of you it's not like anyone is getting hurt" I shout at her making her flinch a bit I feel a bit bad but I can't show it
"Have you not been watching the news at all?" She questions me "I live in a cell not a fucking compound" I huffed and her whole demeanour changes
"Oh my god you don't even know do you?" Nats voice chimed in
"Jesus Christ will you please just tell me so I don't have to guess why you're both looking at me like that" I say
"Y/n the buildings that you destroyed had people in them people that didn't make it out" Everything goes silent you could hear a pin drop there's no way he told me they were empty
"I see what you're doing here trying to catch me off guard, nice try guys but you need to work harder than that" I laugh it off but they still look at me the same
Before I could speak again another car pulls up and Strucker jumps out with a huge smirk on his face
"C'mon I told you what to do and you couldn't now I've got to finish then myself you're useless" He huffed before pressing a button in his hand making me drop to my knees
"Ahhhhhh" I roar in pain from the electricity in my neck "I.Almost.Had.Them" I say between breathes
"Well you weren't fast enough" He spits at me
Writers POV:
With Y/n on her knees in pain Strucker marches up to her and kneels next to her
"I gave you a chance and you failed me" He scoffs before standing up
"You told me there was nobody in those buildings you lied to me now I'm a murderer" Y/n screams at him
"How else was I going to get you to do it I knew you'd never kill again so I had to come up with something" He stated looking her in the eyes
"You piece of shit I'm going to kill y-" And he presses the button making her scream again
"Y/n!!!" Wanda shouts running to her side
"You need to snap out of it Y/n turn back on you're emotions and realise you're on the wrong side" She grabs Y/ns face
"I can't Wanda because if I turn it back on I'll feel everything especially the guilt I don't want to feel anything" Y/n clenches her jaw even thinking about it
"If you're not going to I will all I've got to do is put memories in you're head" and before Y/n could answer memories of the two if them came flashing back from their time in Hydra to the party in the compound
The whole time they were talking and the memories were coming back the rest of the team took out the men leaving Strucker on his own
"Let me at him NOW" Y/n stands up and rips off the brace on her neck darting towards the man in front of her
She grabs him by the neck and clings him to the floor punching him over and over again until her knuckles are bleeding
"This is for Wanda and Pietro" "This is for all the people you made me kill " "And this is for....well I don't have another reason but FUCK YOU" She shouts in between punches
"Okay that's enough I think you got him" Bucky drags her back and pulls her in for a hug "I've got you let it out" He whispers rubbing her back while she screams and cries into his chest
Everyone stands around them in silence not knowing what to say while Nat and Wanda have tears streaming down their faces as they hold each others hands tightly hearing her scream breaks them all
