I wake up to the annoying sound of my alarm. ugh I swear I just fell asleep like five minutes ago. My head hurts so much I feel a little dizzy.
despite how I was feeling I got up and got ready for school not wanting my mother to come out and yell at me.
"hey y/n you ready" Riki greeted walking out of his room
I should probably mention this now Riki is my brother well sort of I'm adopted, and today is my first day going to Riki's school so I'm a little nervous but we're ignoring that in hopes it'll go away.
"about as ready as I will be for school" he doesn't even reply he's just zoned out staring at god knows what "uh Riki" I wave a hand in front of his face and he seems to have snapped out of it "oh right come on hurry we got to catch up to my pal" he shouts skipping down the hallway I wonder who his pal is.
We've been walking for like 10 minutes already mainly because Riki keeps stopping to stare at girls walking by at which I kick him and he keeps walking "Riki where's this pal you were talking about?" I ask but he just keeps walking
"Well I never know exactly where he is we just always end up running into each other probably our destiny for being pals forever...." Riki continues going on about how him and this pal are best pals and whatever, I kind of got distracted when I saw a fairly attractive pink haired boy walking across the street
he's so cute it looks like he's walking the same way as us maybe he goes to the same school as me.
I feel some heat rise to my cheeks as the Pinkette makes eye contact with me
Saiki's Pov
I heard someone talking who sounded very familiar it sounded like Nendo so I look around trying to see if he's here somewhere I turn my head and make eye contact with a girl
I've never seen her before and she's walking with Nendo but that's not the weirdest thing I can see her she doesn't look like shes in an x-ray and oddly enough I can't hear her thoughts
"Hey pal!" I flinch not realizing how close he had been to me and there's the girl from before skipping up behind Nendo
who is she? why can't I hear her thoughts? Why is she with Nendo?
I was being attacked by my own questioning thoughts when Nendo finally spoke up again
Y/n's pov
I see Riki go running off towards the pink haired boy from before
that can't be Riki's pal can it?
I skip up behind Riki I was incredibly nervous which doesn't usually happen to me around guys it's mainly around girls.
"Hey pal!!" Riki basically screams in the poor guys ear I scrunch my nose up at the loud noise
"This is my little sister y/n" the pinkette seems to be ignoring Riki "I'm not little we're the same age" I mumble under my breath I stand up straight and reach my hand out to the boy in front of me "l/n y/n, it's nice to meet one of Rikis pals" the boy ignores me and walks off and Riki follows "This is Saiki, y/n he doesn't talk to much but we're best pals the bestest...." Riki starts talking about how great of pals they are again
We finally make it to school and Riki runs off chasing some guy named Kaiduo leaving me with Saiki "Sorry bout Riki he can be over the top but I'm sure you already know that" I try starting a conversation with him but all I get is "It's fine don't worry about it" and he walks away
geez what a great guy
I laugh at my own sarcasm and start heading to class
Wait how the hell am I supposed to get to class
Saiki's Pov
I found out why I can see her and can't read her thoughts it's because of the rings she's wearing must be some special meatal or something I could care less she's just another nuisance
I try to go about my day normally but my mind keeps returning to the thought of her
Why didn't I know Nendo had a sister not that I care and what are the chances she's wearing those rings she's really pretty and why- wait what did I just think she was pretty no there's no way
I hear someone walk into the classroom so I look up and see no one other then her she looks at me and blushed
great why do all the girls have to like me (that sounds very egotistic and I am sorry)
Y/n's pov
I sigh relieved I finally got to my classroom after asking around and some wrong directions I made it I walk inside and immediately make eye contact with the boy from earlier it's been awhile since I've felt this sure it was a simple crush but that's one of my favorite feelings, having a crush it was usually fun until I got my heart broken which happened more then it should have
"Ah ms.l/n nice to meet you you can go take a seat at the back of the class"
of course the one seat was next to him
I smiled softly while walking to the back and sitting next to Saiki. "Hey saiki" He didn't even look at me just ignored me
I'm gonna get him to talk to me cause this is getting annoying and he's being rude
"saiki" he still ignored me "saikiiiiiii"
he finally at least looked at me "hi" I said with a huge smile on my face "You're almost as annoying as your brother" He looks extremely uninterested or annoyed who knows which one it actually is "Yes sai I know I am it's part of my charm" he seems to not like the nickname "don't call me sai" I just giggle and face forward towards the teacher "whatever you say sai~"
Saiki's pov

I think I actually do prefer Nendo more then her at least he's never called me sai what's this girls problem is she destined to bother me or something I swear god really does hate me

Y/n's pov
It's been about a month since I met Saiki maybe more and now annoying him became a normal part of my day I still have feelings for him of course which I successfully have hidden I know about his psychic powers thanks to interrogating kaidou and thankfully my rings make sure he doesn't know he doesn't even know I know about him being psychic to be completely honest.
"Today we're working in partners for a project due next week you will be working with the person next to you no exceptions" I look over at saiki who creepily enough was already looking at me he is already looking at me what if he likes me to wait no that's impossible I'm just another Riki to him but what if i'm more then that I felt a blush creep onto my cheeks just at that one thought "you look a little red l/n" Saiki's smirking as he said that and it confused me until I looked down at my hands and realized my rings were on the table not my hands
"SAI!!" I thought that very loud he even flinched "It was upsetting that I couldn't read your mind l/n so I did what had to be done and got some great information while doing it" I was now probably as red as a tomato when I grabbed my rings and put them back on my finger and shot daggers at saiki Great I have to work with him for a whole week just us shit-
*After school*
I'm walking over to saiki's for the project and I don't even remember what it was about. I knock on the door and it takes a minute but finally saiki opens the door and waves me inside as to hurry up so I run inside and up the stairs "What was that about sai" He sits down on his chair leaving me nowhere but his bed to sit "my parents are extremely annoying when it comes to me having friends especially when they're girls" I decide to leave it at that I don't really feel like talking all that much
"you ok?" I chuckled he sounds like he might actually care but I doubt that I just look up at him "you ask but do you actually care?" he gets up and walks towards you you were already standing and he was only a few inches from me when he said "Yes I care l/n you may be a pain in the ass but you're my pain in the ass" I chuckle and say "yeah but you you're just an ass" I laugh and even Kusuo laughed and then he did what I never expected he would do he held my face in his hands and pulled me closer to him then kissed me! He actually Kissed me!
