Dinah pulled up in my driveway she only lives around the corner so she was able to walk home. I walk inside and start to make my way upstairs when mom called out.
"Mija? Mija Is that you? Come here please."
I sigh, I really just want to go lay in bed and pass out. But being a 'good' girl that I am, I went into the kitchen where she was. "Yes mom?"
"How was practice darling?" Mom asks as she is doing the dishes.
"It was good, but i just have a bit of a headache, and just want to go to bed." I say as I go to walk out of the room.
"Mija, come back."
I groan as I walk back in. "Yes?"
"You have not eaten no? I made you dinner, come sit down and eat. And what's this headache you have?"
"Mom, it's nothing, it's just a headache, i'm dehydrated. and i'm not hungry. I just want to go to sleep, but i promise i'll eat extra tomorrow."
"Was it from playing soccer? Did you get hurt from playing? You know I don't want you playing if you're going to get hurt!" Mom snaps.
"No Mama, its just a little headache, but I'm going to go rest now, ok?"
"Ok Camila." Mom walks over to me and kisses me on the head. Goodnight."
"Night mom."
I walk upstairs, get changed into my sleep wear and crash on my bed. I grab my phone and text Dinah.
'Hey by the way i forgot to say
Your a real dick you know that?
I was about to beat your ass back at
the nurses room
Please don't embarrass me like that
again.'
I send the text and not long after my phone lights up.
' Mila one day your gonna
admit it to yourself...'
'Admit what?'
I wait for a reply but none came through so I close my phone and soon drift off into a deep sleep.
My alarm starts blaring up at 6:30am I groan not wanting to wake up just yet. It felt like i had just gotten to sleep. I drift back off until 10 minutes later when my sister Sofi barges through the door, climbs atop my bed and starts jumping singing.
"It's time to wake up, It's time to wake up, we have to go to school, you're taking me to school!" She then pounces on me and screams in my ear. "GET UP!"
I groan in annoyance, "Sofi! Go eat breakfast or something."
"No we have to eat together."
After a struggle and a half I was finally up, showered, dressed and had just finished putting my makeup on. I walk downstairs and Sofi had apparently left me a banana cut up into pieces in a bowl waiting beside her at the kitchen table. i sit down next to her.
Mmm this looks delicious." I smile at her.
"You took forever so i made a banana for you." Sofi chimes.
"Oh you made the banana? Or did you just cut it?" i ask.
Sofi thinks for a couple seconds. "I made it!" She giggles.
I laugh. "Oh well, thank you for making my banana."
Mom enters the room in her work uniform, she is a nurse.
"Bye mommy, where going to school now!" Sofi says running and giving mom a hug.
"Ok bye sweety, have a good day."
I grab both Sofi's and my bag and hug mom goodbye.
"Drive safe please."
"Of course I will."
I put Sofi in her booster seat and hop in the car myself and drive off. I start blasting Ed Sheeran. Sofi and I both started singing along until we arrived at her school. I let her out and then walked her to her classroom.
"Alright I will pick you up after school alright, mom will be home late, so we will go get some ice cream or something, sound good?" I ask Sofi
"Yay Ice cream, ice cream!" Sofi jumps up and down.
"Alright see you later chicken."
I get back to my car and drive off until i reach my school, i park my car right next to Dinah Range Rover and find my way to first period. I have Chemistry with Dinah and Ally. i walk in to the class and everyone is already seated, but the teacher hasn't arrived yet. I quickly sit down next to Dinah who is sitting next to Ally.
"Good you made it. Guessing your concussion is gone?" Dinah slaps me.
"I still have a little headache." I smile. "Hey AllyCat."
"Hey Mila." Ally smiles charmly.
I start getting my books out.
"You coming over mine on the weekend?" Ally asks looking over at me.
"Of course." I say smiling.
"Alright class! lets get started. Mr Smith says as he walks through the door.

The first two lessons went by quicker than i anticipated. The bell rang for lunch and i was currently in English. Dinah and Ally weren't in my class so i was on my way to find them. I was at the cafeteria and was waiting in line to get some lunch. i was checking my phone when someone practically pounced on top of me. my legs almost gave way, but i managed to hold us both up.
"Hey Mila Dawg!" Yep it was definitely Dinah.
She jumps off me. "Hi." I say laughingly. "Can't you ever greet me normal?" I ask.
"What is normal exactly?" Dinah tested with a smirk.
"I don't know, maybe the causal punch on the arm 'How you doin' kinda thing?" I reply.
"Alright." Dinah then punches my arm quite hard. "Hey, How you doin?" Dinah starts laughing.
'Ow, i don't mean hard." I laugh, rubbing my arm.

Dinah, Ally and i are sitting down eating our lunch. I had just taken a bite of my banana.
"So after we eat we have to go to the oval and warm up and practice." Ally speaks.
"Doo weh hape too?" I ask with my mouth full.
"Eww gross don't talk with your mouth full." Dinah says.
"Yeah, it's mandatory for sports." Ally confirmed.
"You love sport, so what's the problem?" Dinah asks.
"My head just feels weird still."

All three of us walk over to the benches. There is four sports aligned up soccer, football, softball and hockey. I sit down and grab my soccer boots out of my bag. Dinah does the same. We are both sitting down putting our shoes on as Ally goes and gets her hockey stick. As i am putting my shoe on I happen to look up at the crowd of people from Wimberly, searching to see if she was actually here or not. And of course there she was tying her shoe up. She had a navy blue baseball cap on with her hair pulled back in a cute ponytail. She was seriously beautiful.
"Fuck." It just came out of my mouth. I sounded like a hypnotised freak.
Dinah looks over at me and see's me staring into the crowd, she tries to follow where my eyes were fixated on, but had a hard time figuring out what I was even looking at.
"What?" Dinah asks.
I hadn't realised it, but I had apparently given up on putting my shoes on as I watch this magical view. I watch as Lauren grabs her bat from beside her and she slowly stands back up. She seems to be looking around while swinging her bat around and around and around. Her body turned and positioned itself in front of me as she was still scanning the area when her eyes suddenly fell on me. She immediately stopped in her tracks, staring directly at me. For a second she didn't show any signs of any expressions until i small genuine smile crept onto her face. She started walking towards us and Dinah noticed as she approached us.
"Oh, look it's your girlfriend." Dinah says as she playfully pushes me.
"Can you stop with that, seriously?" I say annoyed every time she mentions anything like that.
"Oh c'mon, she knows I'm joking, right?" Dinah says looking over at Lauren for confirmation.
I watch Lauren as I wait for her to say something in hopes she won't take anything Dinah says seriously, Lauren quickly glances at me before smiling and turning back to Dinah. "Right." She says. few.
"So what are you doing first?" Lauren asks me curiously.
"Soccer, you?" I ask.
"Of course, last night didn't stop you from playing i guess?" Lauren laughs.
"Hell no, you'd have to break both my legs to get me to stop playing....or tell my mom that i injured myself."
"Well I'm playing softball, you should come play, so I can see what your made of?" Lauren asks.
I look up at her for a second. I really want to play soccer but, i've never played softball before and it looks like fun. Maybe I'll give it a go.
"Alright." I say taking off my soccer shoes again.
"What?" Dinah says. "Have you ever played softball?"
"Nope." I simply say.
"Well this should be interesting."
I ended up playing terribly at softball. I think I only managed to hit one ball and i never made it to home run at all. For the rest of the day we were doing all different sports, we had to play all designated sports aligned up, that included football. It wasn't too bad, I just got tackled a lot but other than that it was all fine. At the end of the day. The coaches tallied up all the scores from every sport and we lost by 3 points! Mother trucker! Ally was sitting on the bench where my bag was. I went up to her and laid on the rest of the bench laying my head in her lap, while taking big sips out of my bottle.
"How are you doing chicken?" Ally looks down with a smile.
"I'm stuffed, what about you?" I ask
"Same, I think I need to go to Waffle house."
"Of course." I laugh. "I'm picking Sofi up after school and taking her out for ice cream, why don't we go to Waffle house? and you can have your fix?"
"Oh would you?" Ally squeals.
"Nahh." I joke.
Ally slaps me lightly so i start slapping her back, and we ended up having a bit of a slap fight. I got up off her and squirted my water bottle right in her face. She is soaked now and I couldn't help but laugh my ass off. Before I knew it Ally had held of my bottle and was trying to get it off me I kept a hold of it not wanting her to get it off me. We were fighting for the bottle and she managed to get it off me and immediately squirted me with the water. I was now drenched and it was so cold i could barely breath. i grab hold of my shirt so it wouldn't touch my stomach.
"Ok now I'm not going to take you to Waffle House!" I tease as i look up at her. Her hands are covering her wide open mouth like she was in shock as she look passed my shoulder. I turn around to see Lauren standing there half drenched with her hands raised, apparently not expecting to get wet by anything. i couldn't help but start laughing as i look back at Ally.
"And you wet Lauren." I laugh.
Ally looks at me in confusion as if wondering how i knew who this girl was. "Oh my god I am so sorry." Ally says apologetically to Lauren.
Lauren looks at her with a smile. "It's ok."
I look at Lauren still laughing.
"She's lying." I tease.
Ally then squirts my back with the remaining water from the bottle.
"Oh my god!" I scream tensing raising my arms in defence (probably making a weird face) i am now drenched everywhere and I'm cold. "Ally stop!" I protest. I grab the bottle off her and throw it across the grass.
"Now you're going to have to pick it up." Ally laughs.
I ignore her turning back to Lauren who was trying not to laugh.
"I'm sorry, it was Camila's fault you got wet though." Ally says to Lauren.
"Its ok though, Mila has a tendency to get girls wet." I hear Dinah say as she approach us. My face went bright red! What the fuck.
"Dinah what the heck?" I say as i lower my head in one of my hands.
"Well it's true isn't it?" Dinah said with a smirk as she picks her bag up.
"Since when?" I ask. i was beyond mortified, what the heck are they doing. I look at Lauren who had a surprised look on her face as she looked at me. I shook my head at her with a smile.
"Who's your new friend Mila?" Ally asks.
"Oh, this is Lauren, Lauren this is Ally, and you probably know Dinah's name after the amount of times i have to yell at her with all her rude comments."
"Nice to meet you." Ally said going up and shaking Lauren's hand politely.
"You too." Lauren replies.
"So umm did you just come over to get soaked by Ally.. or?" I say jokingly.
Lauren laughs, "No, I didn't actually plan that, I was actually coming over to ask what you are doing on the weekend?
Did she just ask me that?
"Umm, I was going to go to Ally's why's that?" I asked.
"Well there is a party happening on Saturday and I was wondering if you would like to come? You can bring your friends too?" Lauren asks.
She wants me to go to a party? With her? and people?
Dinah breaks out into a big laugh. "Have fun trying to get her to go to a party, I've been trying all year."
Dinah won't quit embarrassing will she. I glare at her before replying to Lauren.
"I Um.. I don't know.."
"Told you...." Dinah buts in. I glare at her again. Does she really want to do this? I'll show her.
"Sure. I'd love to go." I say as i look back at Lauren.
Lauren smiles at me. "Great, can i have your number and I'll text you the address?"
I nod. and take her phone off her, typing my name and number in it.
"Alright, i'll see you then." Lauren smiles before walking off. Wow i'm going to a party with Lauren?
"Are you kidding me?" Dinah asks me
"What?" I smile.
"You won't go to a party with me no matter how many times I wine to you, but as soon as this random girl asks you, you, practically scream?" Dinah says a little disappointed.
"I guess." i laugh.
"So i guess where not gonna stay at my house?" Ally quietly pipes in.

Im sitting at Waffle House with Ally, Dinah and Sofi. Where all eating ice cream.
"So we're really going to this 'party'?" Dinah asks.
"Hey shh, Sofi's here, we'll talk about it when we get to my house." I say.
"Are you going to a party, Mila?" Sofi looks up at me. she has icecream all over her face.
"No, we were just making a surprise party for someone." I lied.
"Oh."
Ally, Dinah and I are at my house lounging on my over size hammock in my backyard.
"Alright lets talk about this party mystery girl?" Ally asks.
"Well lets go?" I say.
"Are you serious?" Dinah asks.
"Sure why not?" I say not seeing what the big deal is.
"Well maybe cause you've never been to a party before and your mom will definitely wont let you." Dinah tested.
I get up in a sitting position. "I'm sick of being the good girl all the time, I want to go out and have fun at least for just one night. I need too." I say sternly.
"Well, what are we going to tell your mom?" Ally questions.
I think for a bit, before getting a great idea. "I'll tell her exactly what I told Sofi, that we're a planning a surprise party for someone."
"Alright but who?" Dinah asks.
"Why not your cousin, Lennet?" I ask Dinah.
"That could work." Dinah says.
"How are we going to get there?"
"I'll get the information off Lauren tonight and tell you tomorrow alright?"
I'm lying in bed with my fluffy white cat Max. My phone is next to my head why i wait for a text to hopefully come through from Lauren.
Next minute my phone lights up and i see someone unknown number text me, I became really nervous for some odd reason as I read.
'Hey, this is Lauren just double
checking this is Camila?'
I smile when I read her name, i then reply.
'Hey yeah it's me :)'
'Great, so the party is on Sat
it starts around 9:30pm
and its at 53 Grove st
Lonsdale. Do you know where
that is?'
'Nope haha but i'm sure i
could find it.'
'Haha ok well if you get lost
just call me and ill come get
you alright? :)'
'Ok no problem.'
'Alright, hope i see you

It is Friday Afternoon and I decided that Ally and i should go to Dinah's tonight to work out where the party is. I pack my duffle bag with all the things i'll need, plus this really top i got and black skinny jeans with white converses i have all my make up and hair products, i quickly go down stairs and throw my bag in my car so mom wont go through it. i walk back inside.
"Mom, I'm going to Dinah's now!" I yell out.
Mom comes from around the corner.
"Ok Mija, So you're going to Dinah's to help plan the surprise party for Tomorrow night? for Lennet?" Mom asks curiously.
Shit, I really hate lying to her, but I had to. "Yeah Momma That's the plan." I kiss her on the cheek.
"Ok, have fun Mila, I love you and I'll see you on Sunday."
"Love you too mom, ok bye."

I'm in Dinah's bedroom with Dinah and Ally, laying on the floor with Dinah, while Ally is on the computer trying to google where the address.
"Ok, i'm pretty sure it's around the corner from my Aunties house, so that's easy." Ally admits.
"really that's good, so we know where we're going, we won't have to worry about. More time worrying how good we look."
'Wow, why? Gonna impress some boys young Mila huh?" Dinah teases.
"What no? I was just saying."
"Sure, Sure."
"Anyway, so we'll drive to my Aunties house and then we could probably stay there the night."
"Sweet." I say.
We ended up watching scary movies until we all passed out at some crazy hour of the early morning. I finally decided to wake up at some point. I checked my phone and it read 10:23am I looked around the bedroom and realised both the girls were not in the room. I make my way into the kitchen where i see Dinah in the kitchen.
"Hey Mila, Morning, sit down i made bacon, eggs and pancakes." Dinah says to me.
I look at the kitchen table with the table filled with so much food. Yum! I go and sit next to Ally at the table who is eating pancakes.
"Who knew you could cook?" I say to Dinah.
"Shut up, i'm the best."
We all sat down eating this amazing breakfast Dinah had cooked up for us and then for some reason we spent all day getting ready and doing each others make up and hair. Don't ask me why we started so early, maybe we just so excited. But after the day dragged on it soon became 8:50pm and I decided we will take my car to Ally's Aunties house. Just cause mine is pimper then there's.

We end up at Ally's Aunties house at 9:35pm.
"Alright, i'm pretty sure we just follow this road down here and then make a left at some point and then where on grove street." Ally says pointing down the road.
"Are you sure?" I ask.
"I'm pretty sure." Ally stated.
It ended up taking us longer than we expected but we finally reached the party. Dinah went and knocked on the door and some guy answered the door with a huge smile on his face, I will admit he was very attractive.
"Hello ladies, come to join the fun?" He asks.
"Of course." Ally smiles brightly.
We all walk in and the guy comes up to me smiling. "Would you like me to get you a drink gorgeous?"
I wasn't expecting him to ask me that. "uhm.. Sure?"
"Alright! I'll be back."
"Ok."
Dinah pushes me lightly causing me to look up at her. "Wow look at you, haven't even been here for 20 seconds and there's a guy already getting you a drink."
I laugh nervously cause i really didn't want the guys attention i kinda just wanted to find Lauren. I start scanning the area and notice Dinah and Ally walk away outside. I wonder where she is? A few seconds later this guy comes back with two cups and hands me one. i look down in it.. It looks like cola.
"What is it?" I ask curiously.
"It's Bourbon, you'll like it." He insists.
I lift the drink up to my mouth and take a sip of it letting it sit in my mouth to see what it taste like.
"Maybe after we could go upstairs if you'd like."
I immediately spat my drink back into my cup. Not just because it was the most disgusting thing i have tasted, but also, did he just ask me to go upstairs with him later? To do what exactly? I soon fell uncomfortable. I soon noticed how close he was standing, his hand was brushing against my arm. I slowly stepped backwards, but he followed.
"C'mon gorgeous, lets go upstairs." He says, he reaches up to my chin and strokes it lightly.
I took another step backwards. "Uhm.." Was all that came out of my mouth. I took a couple more steps backwards until i bumped into someone i immediately turn around as does the person i bumped into. "Sorry." I say as I see the persons face It was Lauren. She smiles brightly.
"Hey, you made it." She says happily.
i smile still uncomfortable with this guy still inches away from me.
"Yeah." i simply say.
"Hey?" The guy grabs my arm causing me to turn to look up at him. "So are you going to take me up on my offer?" He spoke a little more sternly now. "Let's go." He says tugging on my arm trying to pull me away. I didn't know how to respond, i tried pulling my arm away but he had a pretty tight grip.
Lauren must have noticed because she stepped in. "Hey! Let her go." I hear Lauren say as she steps in between us pulling the guys hand away.
"What's your problem, Lauren?" He snaps at her. "This has nothing to do with you, leave us alone."
"No, it does! leave her alone, she's not going to have sex with you Mitch, So beat it!" Lauren snaps back at him.
"Bullshit." Mitch spat.
Lauren turns to me. I'm a little startled, scared and overwhelmed at what was happening. "Do you want to have sex with him?" Lauren asks me honestly, even though she knew full well from looking in my eyes that I didn't. I frown at the thought of that and then slowly shake my head. Lauren turns around to Mitch again.
"See, she doesn't want to have sex with you, so you can leave now." Lauren says sternly.
Mitch glared at me, I've never had anyone stare at me with such hatred before. "You're a fucking slut." he spat at me before leaving.
This was too much maybe i shouldn't have come, this guy practically humiliated me, I was so embarrassed and scared and confused
Lauren turns back to full of concern. "Are you ok?"
That comment through me off edge. Am I ok? Obviously not because next thing i knew I was running out the front door.
