Amelia's POV
"can I not wear a dress?" I whined as Addison searched for a dress I can wear
"oh come on, you never wear a dress" she said
"and I'm not planning on doing it anytime soon" I said sitting on my bed
"yes you will wear one tonight" she said still looking in the closet
"what are you looking for, I don't have dresses" I said rolling my eyes
"you do, you have a lot, but you actually never looked at this side of the closet" she said
"wait, I just remembered we have school tomorrow we can't go" I said hopefully she will agree
"it's okay, forget school for once, have some fun" she said. she was still in the closet
I let out a sigh and crossed my arms
"found it!" she exclaimed pulling out a dress
"no Addi I'm not wearing this" I said shaking my head
"why not? it would look great on you" she said
I looked at the dress one more time
"ughh fine" I said getting up and grabbing the dress before walking to the bathroom
I stripped out of my hoodie and jeans and put the dress on
it shows all my back. I'm not wearing this
I walked out of the bathroom
"girl! you look hot!" she said hyping me up (this is me hyping my best friend up, hey Kylie)
I smiled slightly walking to the mirror
"but Addi it shows my back, I don't want to wear it" I whined
"look at yourself, you look gorgeous, you're not changing it end of conversation" she said
"no let me do your hair and makeup" she said grabbing my hand
I groaned and sat on my chair
she curled my hair slightly and put some make up.
I don't usually put makeup but it looked good
"see you look like a bad bittie" Addison said making me laugh slightly
"it's your turn now" I said getting up
"I bought my dress I just want you to straighten my hair" she said
she took her dress and walked to the bathroom
after a while, she walked out wearing her dress, short, tight, strapless, it was blue
"WOAH, you look sexy!" I exclaimed
"thank you, now come do my hair please" she said sitting down

"are you ready?" Addi asked as we stood in front of the house that was throwing a party
this is awful
"no" I replied
"then let's go" She said grabbing my hand and pulling me behind her
we walked into the house. the music was blasting loudly
sweaty bodies grinding on each other. couples making out. people getting drunk
I scanned the place until my eyes landed on Tayler, who had his arms wrapped around some girl's waist and sucking her face off
says the one who wants a fake girlfriend
I rolled my eyes and looked to the side, realizing that Addison left me
I hate myself
I walked through the sweaty bodies, apologizing after bumping into people, until I reached the kitchen
I saw some boys standing there.
I ignored them and grabbed a water bottle
"didn't know you came to parties" a voice said from behind me making me jump
I turned around and saw Nate
"you scared me" I said letting out a sigh of relief
"sorry" he said chuckling
"so what are you doing here?" he asked
I shrugged my shoulders
"Addison forced me to come here" I said making him laugh
"by the way, you look beautiful" he said looking me up and down
I felt myself blushing so I looked down at my feet
"thank you" I mumbled avoiding eye contact
we talked all night, laughing and having fun.
"I'm going to the bathroom" I told Nate
he nodded and I started walking around searching for the bathroom
when I found it, I slowly opened the door with my eyes closed because there's probably a couple making babies inside
I opened my eyes slowly and didn't see anyone there.
I walked inside and locked the door behind me
I did my business and washed my face and my hands
I opened the door and walked outside.
I was about to walk away, when I was yanked into the bathroom again
I looked to see who it was
it was a guy that I didn't know. you can say from his features that he's drunk
"hey babe" he said biting his lip
I internally cringed at his words
I tried pulling my wrist away from him but he just held me tighter
my wrist was stating to hurt causing my eyes to tear up
this can't be happening
"let's have some fun" he said leaning in
he pressed his lips on mine.
I tried pulling away but he pressed me against the wall making it hard to escape
tears started streaming down my face as his hand trailed on my thigh
"please stop" I whimpered
"no I just want to have fun" he said putting his head in my neck
"HELP" I yelled
"no ones gonna hear you" he said into my neck
I tried pushing him away but it was no use
suddenly the door opened wide
I looked at the door and saw...
...Tayler
he walked to the guy and grabbed him by the collar of his shirt
he started throwing punches on the guy, not leaving space for him to fight back
"someone help please!" I yelled
I tried pulling Tayler back so he won't kill the guy, but he didn't budge
"Tayler!" I screamed
Tayler looked at me. his face was full of anger
when he saw me, his eyes softened and he pulled away from the guy
he walked to me and looked closer at me
"are you okay?" he asked softly
I nodded my head wiping my tears
he pulled me to his chest making me cry even more
this is so embarrassing
"what is happening here?" Nate asked walking into the bathroom
"here Nate, take her home, I have an issue to take care of" Tayler said moving me towards Nate
when Nate saw my face he pulled me into a hug instantly
I melted into his arms and hugged him back
"let me take you home" he said as we pulled away
"I have to tell Addison first" I said looking around trying to find her
"she's with Bryce, I'll text him and he'll tell her" Nate said
I nodded and looked back to the bathroom where Tayler was
"don't worry, he'll be okay" Nate said putting a hand on my shoulder
"I hope so" I mumbled
we walked to the car and drove silently home
"thanks for the ride" I said as Nate parked the car in front of my house
"No worries" he said smiling
"good night" I said
"good night" he replied as I got out of the car
I walked slowly to the house.
I used my keys to open the door because my dad is probably asleep
I closed the door quietly and walked to my room
I changed my clothes and got in bed
I was disgusted in myself.
I can't imagine what would've happened if Tayler didn't come
I owe him, and I think I should agree to be his fake girlfriend as paying back and mostly for his mom
