Back at the hotel Azazel explains the plan for the fight against The Hero Faction. After the plan was discussed, Azazel called Ikki and Issei over.
Azazel:Ikki!, Issei hey!

Azazel:It's seems there's been an incident, a man and a molester struck right outside the hotel. I was passing by and helped the man detain the perv responsible afterwards these popped out of their bodies recognize them?

Visersion:No idea but I can sense that it possesses a strong power

Ikki goes to his room to think
Ikki:(The Hero Faction, there humans who want to push past their limits and grow stronger while remaining human, they are like me or at least they have the same ideals as I did when I was still human but I still have those ideals, either way I'm a devil now and they've kidnapped someone that we need to save, so I'll do what needs to be done!)
As Ikki and the others made it to the train station, Kunou came out of nowhere and jumped onto Ikki's back.
Ikki:Kunou? What are you doing?! We are you here?!
Kunou:I'm helping you!
Ikki:I don't think you should. This all seems a little dangerous for a little fox.
Kunou:I want to be the one to save mother! Please! I won't leave! You can't make me!
Ikki:Well guys, should we bring her with us?
Everyone nods their heads and Ikki pats Kunou on the head
Ikki:Okay fine, you can come. Who knows, maybe a nine tail fox like yourself come in handy

Kunou rubs her check on Ikki's and afog surrounds them and everyone other than Kunou was gone
Kunou:It's the fog
Ikki:We're in a dimensional space again
Ikki's phone rings and he picked it up and heard Kiba's voice
Ikki:Kiba,where are you?
Kiba:We're at the Kyoto Imperial Palace, Rossweisse, Saji, and Issei are with me. You?
Ikki:Kunou and I are on a subway platform at Kyoto Station.
Kiba:Do you want to try and meet up at Nijo Castle?
Ikki:Sure, sounds like a plan
Kiba:Okay, can you contact Asia and the others

After Ikki hung up with Kiba, he called Xenovia about the plan and after he hung up with her, he put Kunou down and activated his Balance Breaker

Kunou who was amazed by Ikki's armor, then ran and started to feel his armor then Ikki knelt down to her
Ikki:Kunou, I promise we're gonna save your Mom, but you have to stay in my sights at all times okay? I'll protect you
Kunou:Okay I shall remain here beside you
Suddenly, they heard a voice and multiple shadows appeared and took the form of a man with glasses.
???:Hello there, it's been a while, I'm guessing you don't remember me?
Ikki:Yes I do. Your name is Connla correct? You're the one we fought before who could control shadows
Connla:I'm surprised that you remembered me
Ikki:I don't forget anyone who tries to hurt my friends
Connla:I'm touched you remember but this time I'm gonna show you what a shadow user can really do! Balance Break!
Connla is then covered in an armor made of shadows
Connla:What do you think? I look like you right? I admired your armor so much the last time you fought i decided I wanted a set of my own. So I went on a field trip and obtained Knight Reflection Death Cross. Now then you and I have unfinshed business.
Ikki:Bring it on!!
Ikki charges and attacks Connla but he only phases through him. Connla then wraps Ikki in a cloth of shadows and charges with a light blade and Kunou helps by throwing balls of blue fire but it does nothing to him and Ikki stands infront of her.
Connla:Foxfire? Heh that pathetic little flame can't hurt me
Ikki draws his dragon wings and wraps Kunou in one of them
Viserion:What's your plan?
Ikki:To win of course!! Do it!!
Ikki's core charges and he blasts an attack of Black Flames and it burns Connla
Connla:DAMN IT!! FUCK YOU DARK DRAGON EMPEROR!!
Connla then fell to the ground with burn marks and the sprinklers came on a covered everyone with water.
Ikki:Listen, you'll die if we continue
Connla:If it was for him, it would be my honor!
Ikki:You'd really be okay dying for him!
Connla:You know how it is. Possessers of sacred gears are treated like dogs and prosecuted everywhere we go. It doesn't matter what we do we're,still just the shit on the bottom of everyone else's shoes. But Cao Cao was able to destroy those half fake misconceptions and change my life for the better. Everything was total Crap before I met him so I don't care if I die!
Ikki:Connla, I know how you feel I really do, but he's using you.

Connla rushes Ikki with his light blade

After Ikki and Kunou left the subway, they made their way to the others

The temple gates open

Cao Cao then tapped his spear on the ground and Kunou's mother began to hold her head in pain and then she transformed into a giant nine tailed fox and she howls into the night sky

Cao Cao:The Nine Tailed Fox is the absolute highest class of Yokai. The city of Kyoto has an unbreakable bond with them and as such, it was built to ensure that there's always an ample supply of chi. Cao Cao:You're not wrong however to no fauly of his own he's become a bit of a nuisance to my boss. She was to return home but it appears he's in the way

A bright light can started to shine into the sky as Xenovia was lifting up her Durandal

Xenovia then slammed Durandal into Cao Cao and his team as it caused a massive explosion and massive crater in the ground

Xenovia:Thank you Ikki. This new Durandal is something else, the church used alchemy to combine it with Excalibur. As such, I gave her a new name
Xenovia starts to rub the blade with a blush on her face

Then Cao Cao's team came out of the ground.
Cao Cao:Well I'm impressed, your group seems to be on par with most of the other high ranking devil families, it's rather surprising that Shalba and Beelezebub looked down on any of you.
Siegfried:Old men are like that though, always living in the past instead of the present right it's a shame really. Now then, your orders?
Cao Cao:Yes I suppose we don't have all night. Hey Georg, start the experiment

Georg started to summon multiple different magic circles around him
Rossweisse:From what I can make out, he's using Norse Magic, Demonic and Fallen Angel spells, black and white magic, maybe even fairy spells. He must have an extensive magic library
Georg then fired a blue fire ball at Kunou's mother causing her to glow blue and howl again
Georg:The spell circle in sacrificial placement is optimal, now we just wait, the city's power should attract Great Red
Cao Cao:Nice work, I'll leave the rest up to you.Okay Siegfried go on take your pick who would you like to play with?
Siegfried points his swords to Kiba and Xenovia.
Cao Cao:Next Jeanne, then Heracles
Jeanne:Let's see, I'll take that cute little angel right there.
Heracles:I've got dibs on the silver haired lady.
Cao Cao:I'll take The Red and Dark Dragon Emperors. Don't forget about Vritra
Ikki:Saji, can you handle the fox yokai? See if you can get her somewhere safe.

Ikki and Issei change into their Balance Breakers
Ikki:Are you stronger than Vali?!

Saji and the nine tailed fox clash as Ikki and the others lunge at their opponents
Ikki:Alright everyone! ATTACK!!

Ikki and Issei fire dragon shots at Cao Cao but he reflects all of them and with Kiba and Xenovia they started to clash with Siegfried they jump back and Xenovia draws Excalibur Destruction from Ex Durandal
Xenovia:Looks like this is a two sword job!
Siegfried:Let's spice things up shall we I'll show both of you a little trick. My Balance Breaker
Siegfried grew 3 more arms and then pulled out 3 more swords
Xenovia:He has 6 swords now?!
Siegfried:These are the Demon Swords Tyrfing and Dainsleif. I also have a sword of light that's perfect for devils

Siegfried:And this is my Chaos Edge, Asura's Ravage. Like my Twice Critical this Balance Breaker is also a subspecies. Show me what you've got!!
With Irina, she was firing blasts at Jeanne but she was dodging them
Jeanne:Damn girl! Look at you go! You're killing it! I gotta say, you're pretty good for an angel
Jeanne then sent a wave of blades towards Irina but she dodged them

Rossweisse flies away but Heracles rockets shoot her out of the sky. Asia tries to heal her, but more rockets are fired upon her

Ikki and Issei rush Cao Cao and they trade blows with each other but Cao Cao slashed all over Issei's body and sent him back. Ikki drew Ascalon and clashed with Cao Cao until he jumped a impaled Ikki in the side with his spear and he coughed blood
Cao Cao:Its not that you're weak, you just have a lot of openings
Black steam comes out of Ikki's armor and he spits out some blood and gets back on his feet while Asia heals him and Issei. Then Ikki opened a vile of Phoenix Tears and poured it on his wound
Ikki:Damn,that was close!!
Cao Cao:My, you were shockingly close to dying just then, it happened so easily for you huh? I should probably remind you that this particular weapon is a Holy Spear. No matter how strong you eventually become, you'll never be able to overcome its raw power, because you are a Devil.
Ikki:Yeah, like I care!
Ikki gets back on his feet and gets ready to fight again
Cao Cao:Well color me surprised I was sure that last part would scare you off.
Ikki:No I'm not afraid of you, It doesn't matter I can't worry about that now. Everyone I care about is counting on me to stop you, but if I can't land one attack then I don't deserve to be The Dark Dragon Emperor.
Cao Cao:How noble! I think I get it you really are such a fascinating individual. I can see why Vali likes you so much.
A dragon shot comes in Cao Cao's direction and he sees it was Issei and Ikki takes the opportunity and uses Ascalon to cut off Cao Cao's arm and he jumps and catches his arm
Ikki:There! Ascalon should be enough to take you down.
Cao Cao then takes a vile of Phoenix Tears and uses it to reconnect his arm.
Ikki:How do you have Phoenix Tears!!
Cao Cao:Well it wasn't exactly legal
Ikki:Damn it!
Cao Cao:Your aura increased with your anger. Be careful with that trick it's a weakness that may lead to your ultimate undoing. I mean that's pretty much how you triggered your Juggernaut Drive in the past isn't it

A chunk Ikki's armor breaks and he spits out more blood and kneels to the ground.

Viserion:I'm trying partner, it seems the effects of The Holy Spear are giving me more trouble than I anticipated

Ikki looks to find Jeanne holding Irina

Siegfried:Well it is The Dark Dragon Emperor. I see you already defeated The Red Dragon Emperor. Of course he's stronger than the others.
Ikki saw Siegfried holding Xenovia and Kiba

Heracles throws Rossweisse to the ground

Cao Cao:Listen, you're very strong you really are, the sad truth of the matter is you're just not strong enough to defeat us. Gerog, can you give me an update please
Gerog:You're almost there, I think Great Red should be arriving any moment now
Ikki looked as Saji was beating beaten by the nine tailed fox and multiple green spheres surrounding everyone as Asia was trying to heal them.
Cao Cao:The fox yokai is almost done for
Ikki clenched his fist in anger at the sight of his unconscious friends and he punches the ground in frustration
Ikki:Damn it! Damn it! GOD DAMN IT!!! (Why! Why! Why couldn't I do anything!! My friends were counting on me! I promised Kunou I would get her mother back! It can't end like this!)
Cao Cao:It was a nice try Dark Dragon Emperor

Just as Ikki was about to close his eyes he sees someone. An old man in a robe with bandages on his chest....The man says something to him something he vowed he would never forget in his life.

Cao Cao looks back and Ikki is back on his feet with his black aura erupting from his body and his helmet is gone revealing his bright red eyes!!
IKKI:THIS FIGHT ISN'T OVER!! I WILL GET KUNOU'S MOTHER BACK AND I SWEAR IF IT TAKES EVERY DROP OF BLOOD I HAVE, IF IT COSTS ME MY OWN LIFE!! I SWEAR TO YOU!!...
