" Gavin, stay still I'm almost done" Mom says trying to keep me still
"But mom.... My hair looks like a pineapple" I say touching my 3 foot long hair
" Thats what the style's called actually... I think" Mom says spraying a bunch of hairspray on me
" Are you done yeeetttttt" I say whining
" Ugh forget it. Go tell your dad we can leave" My mom says giving up on my hair
" KK" I say running as fast as I could. I end up running into a wall and breaking my nose. " UGHH ANOTHER VACATION RUINED" My brother says crying in his room.
Well atleast we don't have to visit Aunt Amy. She always calls us when one of her husbands leave her. It's annoying and weird. When we got back from the hospital, my mom got a call. When she got off the phone she was walking to the door, and putting on her jacket.
" Mom where are you going?"
" UM..... I'm going to visit Aunt Amy. I'll be back ok?" She says. Why are there tears in her eyes?
" Um ok. I love you"
" Love you too sweetheart" She says quickly, before running out the door. Well... That was weird. I guess I should get back to playing with my Barbie d- I mean m-my action figures.
6 Hours Later...
" G-Gavin? What are you doing up? It's almost 2:00am." I hear dad say
" I was just waiting for mom"
" Wait- What do you mean waiting for her?"
" She didn't tell you? She went to go check on Aunt Amy." I say rubbing my eyes, that were now extremely heavy.
" Oh. Well you need to go to bed Gavin." He says bending down
" Can I ask you something?"
" Sure"
" Can you carry me upstairs?"
" Wait wh-" Is all I hear before I fall asleep. 9 years old and I still need to be carried to my bed.
