As usual my Amma woke me up for the shoot with her cute ranting fort get up fast, you don't value the time, when will you become responsible and list goes on. After freshen up and getting ready for the shoot I came downstairs only to listen my mother saying,"Pugal Ava inum yezndikule, avalku breakfast pack paniten Ada pogumbodu sapde vechidu Enna, illati ava full day romba cranky aa irupa aprom unna tolla seiva", she is really my mother who always tend to do this to me but she is cute and most understanding person along with Appa so all these are neglected.
Coming to them, I gulped the milk and said a quick bye to them and rushed with Pugal Anna to the CWC sets.
There I met with other Anna and Akka, then I spotted some new face and got to know about them, they are soo cute Shaki ma, Baba Baskar Appa, Kani Akka , my comedy guru Madurai Muthu Anna, Pavi Akka, Darsha Akka and Deepa Akka All are very sweet specially Pavi Akka and Shaki ma, both have that homely vibe within them.
Then my another brother Rakshan Anna came and greeted all of us and we were having regular chat then only something clicked my mind so I asked to all of them, "Anne, ponna vaati 8 cooks vechi daane start panom, are madri inda vaati koda 8 comali irukaranga but 7 cooks daane irukanga, oruthavange varliya", all looked at me like I had said something very complex chemistry formula.
After some moment Rakshan Anna said, "Thangam nee sonnadhu correct dan...", interrupting him in between I asked, "Aprom yen ellarum ipdi panranga yedo enzi sapta korangu madri"
All laughed at me for this, but I am still confused so Pugal Anna told, "Papa, first neeya ipadi oru kelvi keten nu ellarukum oru shock aprom nee Rakshan aa pesa vita thane avan solluva, aana thangachi ipadi onaku ipdi keka tonichi nee idulam yosika matiye"
Then only I realized that he is right, 'enna da idu namba ipadi la curiosity oda keka matome, aduvum oru person pati, seri ipo epdi situation sambalikla', thinking that I replied, "Ella Anne inda vaati ellarume romba sweet as irukurangle adanale inum oru aalu irunda nalla irukume nu keten".
Even though all bought my words but I have a gut feeling that Pugal Anna and Rakshan Anna didn't seem for to take my justification.
Pavi Akka came to my rescue and asked, "Amma Rakshan Anna bomma kutty solra madri 7 Peru daane irukom enorathur yaaru", the way she say bomma kutty feel so bliss and warm.
Rakshan Anna came out of thoughts and said, "Aama pa, Thangam sonna madri 8 cook irukaru but avan konjam reserved type aa adanale inga varla avan room la iruka, avanoda peru Ashwin Kumar, 7 years aagave inda field le struggle panra, paiya romba talented aana inum anda boost kadaikala makkal madhila, so he is trying pa, avanuku konjam fame KOK la kadichidu aduku aprom sila china china audio and projects la pani irukaru", as he ended both Darsha Akka and Pavi Akka together said,"Enaku Ava teriyum, avru apdi dan".
We all turned our heads towards them as it was kinda intruding for us, they looked at us and explained their individual work experience with him. Now I am officially gone insane, how I mean without seeing or knowing a person I am feeling for him, his pain, his struggle and his hardwork which he had kept behind these 7 years, I am defending him without any knowledge of the person, 'Enna pa idu, pakama kadal koda kelvi patuiruke idu enna pakame crush, pudusa iruke but edo onu ulla soluda evru vera nu...pakalam epdi poga podu' with these thoughts I got ready for the shoot along with Pavi Akka and Mani Akka.
As we the comali are introduced followed by cooks but I was eagerly waiting for that one person Ashwin kumar and there he comes, he looked like any hero from movie but his eyes said some sort of different story and his smile, it's has serenity in it, calmness of those ocean, those sealed lips says thousand words which wanted to escape but constraint by him.
Coming out of stances, I doll waddle to him and gave the rose and came back, the way he said about his liking for cooking, all the time my admiration for him kept on increasing. There is something more than what he shows, he is not like other people, he is genuine I know that even if it is our first meet I felt it.
Then the pairing started I wanted him to choose me but Darsha Akka choose me first, I came out and Rakshan Anna teased me little when I said he also likes bushvanam, the look in his face the small smile said all the story to me that he would have definitely chose it if he would have given the chance, so I was happy.
During the advantage task I made the heart chapati for him but he was so into his work he didn't see it and Bhat Sir saw that and asked me to help my cook rather than playing.
Somehow me, Pugal Anna, Sharath Anna and Parvathy Akka got to second round, but it was tough we have identify the ingredients I tried my level best but didn't get the advantage for Darsha Akka. Lastly Pugal Anna got the advantage task and we were called for break.
I saw him going in the direction of rooms allocated for us, we all were having our lunch then Shaki ma asked about Ashwin to which I replied what I saw. Pavi Akka told all of us that he is like this only, even while worked with him he only present in the shooting time once done he will go back to his home or vanity, Darsha Akka also said the same thing.
I wanted to make sure he is alright or not, Rakshan Anna saw my turmoil so gave me a good excuse to go in his room as he left his ear pods there and asked me to get it for him, without delay I make my way towards his room along with my favourite chocolate.
Standing before the door, I was perplexed whether to knock or not but gaining the courage I did it, after some seconds he opened and was surprised to see me it was all written in his face, without giving any chance I moved inside and sat in Rakshan Anna chair.
He came toward me and sat in his chair and asked me some really funny question, seriously even though I am small to him but he questioned me like any 3 standard kid, God what to do with this man. Even in this his eyes said some different story, it has the warmth and comfort which was serene.
After asking him to take his lunch and come back to us, I left the room with a constant thinking of the way I called him Ashwiney, it was not intentional, it came out of my mouth like that but it felt so good, I am going to call him in that way only.
Main cooking started and Darsha Akka decided to go with chicken biryani, and fumbled while giving the the ingredients name, somehow I managed to get the things.
On the way to return to my work station I crossed Ashwiney table, there Sharath Anna asked me to get Wheat flour, I initially declined it but when he said can't you do it for Ashwiney something overtook me and I did it for him.
I was so happy that he was making a vegetarian dish that too a continental i.e., veg-Augritan. I tried my level best to help both Darsha Akka and Ashwiney, even though he is bit hard from out I am sure he is soft from inside.
You can get to know about a person by just looking into the eyes but the the way they smile tell the truth behind the mask.
I had the urge to present his dish in front of Chefs so I took it, and he gladly gave it to me, this little gesture which we don't see but make a great impact on us, same it gave me sense of belonging.
Rakshan Anna teased me little bit but Bhat Sir interrupted by asking Sharath Anna the dish name, Ashwiney tried to help him but he didn't get it. I was so eager that U wanted to be the one to say, Rakshan Anna and Chefs seem to notice me and gave me the opportunity which I utilize and said the correct name. Ashwiney gave me a high figh, it made my day I was so happy and the warmth he showed me so genuine that I appreciated me for having Crush on this man.
But when they asked me the name of my dish, I was not able to say ever though it was chicken biryani but Darsha Akka gave some weird name which didn't click on that time.
The shoot was over and all started to depart, as I was waiting for Appa to come.
There was this sudden fear came to me, Pugal Anna also left early as he had some meeting with production house so I was alone and this silence was creeping me out.
Then I saw a figure coming out of the building, it was Ashwiney so without any further thoughts I moved towards him.
He first got confused why I am coming towards him, he was going to ask something but before that I said,"Ashwiney, Appa varathuku konjam time aagum adu verlu in koda irukeney please, edo creepy aa iruku anga munadi, please",with my puppy eyes.
What he told me took out of my mind," Hey, loosa ma nee, inda nerathle veliye yen thaniya nikren, Appa Vara verlu room la iruka vendiyadu daane eduku veliya la vare,epo enga pona Anney chumabunna vitute, Seri unga Appa my call panu enga irukuraru varathuku late aana naane vidru", he said breathless, 'aiyoo pavom evlo mucho vodame pesanaru oru cool aana water kodukla, cha evlo akreya pesraru, sonna madri veliya tha strong ulla chinna kozhande'.
I forwarded the water bottle for him to take for which he arched an eyebrow in question, 'chumave hero madri iruparu adula ipdi seinja en manasu enna avarathu, ipdi panadinga Ashwiney edo nadakudu heart la'.
"Illa neenga vidame pesningala so thonda vathi poi irukum adunala, Appa inum 10 mins la vanduruvaru, Anna ku Edo production house la meeting adanala daan ponaru vera onum illa", saying this I started looking my shoes, they have nice designs with little floral prints and I use them when I wear Indo Western clothes....
All my rambling came to end when someone came close so close like invading in my personal space but it's kinda heart warming, a hand came to uplift my chin and then I saw world's most intimidating eyes, which hold the depth of ocean and I wanted to get drown in each drop of it.
I was so mesmerized that I forgot to breathe, I came back to reality by a loud honk of a car. He took back steps to give me some space, I sprint towards the car but before getting into the car I turned and said, "Ashwiney, neriya yosikadinga, neenga unga manasu solarathu kelunga matadhu kadavul pathuparu, inime Ellam seriya daan nadakum enaku teriyum, veetuku poithi inform panunga and number vandu group la irukum. Byeee".
With that we started to home and I have a serious debate within myself why I behaving like this for him.
